Josephine woke early curled against Arri in their Villa's main bedroom. She smiled as the sea breeze swept over them. Slipping from her lover's warm body, she snagged up her silk bedrobe and slipped it on. As she did, she heard the comm ping.
Sighing, she padded barefoot out of the bedroom and running a hand through her blond hair, she stepped up to the Comm and pressed a button to read the incoming message. Once read, she sighed and sat down on the couch and looked out over the ocean.

Arrianna reached over and tried to feel for Josephine. She awoke and grabbed one of her silk robes. She walked out. "Is something wrong Imzadi?" Arrianna knew the Betazoid word. She loved it so she decided to use it.

Josephine looked up and gave her a smile. "Hello gorgeous." she said forcing brightness into her voice. "Did you sleep well Love?"

"Josie... Your partner is a telepath. What's wrong my love?" Arrianna said in a calming voice.

"I just got a message from Personnel. They got wind of our relationship." Josie sighed.

Arrianna nodded. "They were going to find out sooner or later, Josie." She noted.

"They are moving me from Science. Seems we have a new temporal director.. they want me there as the temporal Archeologist." Josie let her head fall back on the couch cushion.

"You are well qualified for that position, Josie. And besides you know regulations. Partners cannot be in the same department." Arri mentioned. "I am also second officer, Josie. Captain Lalor has placed great trust in me to maintain the integrity of her ship and crew. I do not take this post lightly."

"I know, I know and you are wonderful at your job Love." Josie smiled at her. "Just now i have to move my office and stuff... " she sat up. "I think i might badger some ensigns to help"

"Get some of Commander Vaii's pilot cadets. She often asks me for menial work for her pilots. She calls it 'deflating their heads.'" Arri chuckled

"I will look her up" Josie replied. "When we get back." She paused "I guess we need to talk about cabin assignments as well."

Arrianna smiled. "I could ask Phoenix for family quarters. I've long dreamed about having a son or daughter. Though I do ask one thing, If I have a daughter, keep her away from toilet seats. Long story I'd rather forget."

"Oh?" Josie asked curious now. "Now that sounds like an interesting story..." she smiled. "And family cabin sounds like an idea...I also would like children one day."

Arrianna smiled. "There will be time for that. Josie... Lets take this one day at a time. From spending three years in the seventeenth century to the nightmare we've just been through. It's made us so strong together, and weak at the same time. By the way, Remember that yacht of the Viceroy's?" She smiled.

"Hmm yes I remember it" She smiled and fluttered her eye lashes at Arri. "Got thoughts?"

"Well, I gave Mirror Vanessa to the Rebels. She's been very cooperative to them. She wanted very much to be rid of the Viceroy. Then there's Mirror Arrianna, I had her removed from Life Support and cremated. That animal!!" Arrianna noted. "I'm having all of her twisted torture devices removed, and destroyed. We will turn this ship into a science vessel like no other." Arri smiled.

"I do hope you are keeping the bedroom the way it is," Josie smiled. "I do so love you on that bed of silk sheets love."

"If you insist, my love.. They are comfortable." Arri mentioned. "I might get the other crew to assist on it, and it might be inspiring."

Josie smiled. "I guess I will need to contact my new chief of department as well once we get back to the Ship."

Arri nodded. "Mmm hmmm. Besides, if you were in my department all the time. This would happen at random moments." She took Josie and suddenly kissed her passionately for a good thirty seconds. "See what I mean? It just happens when I look at you long enough."

Josie laughed "At least I get my own lab space in the department. They were selling that." she kissed Arri back. "And an office beside it."

"You earned it." Arrianna noted. "Take this opportunity and before you know it, you'll be a full Lieutenant again. I have faith you you Josie... Always will.

Josie nodded. "I will but I think the rank change can wait, I am not looking for a promotion any time soon."
