On the planet of Pacifica at Seaside Grand Hotel, Victor was going to talk to his son for the first time. With him was Tonya and his daughter Lara. "Tonya, Your sister Mira is about to come into our suite with little Victor. Any advice?"

Tonya chuckled. "Brace yourself. I heard he likes to tackle people." She wanted to teased Victor to see his reaction.

Victor understood she must have meant her parents because neither of them knew what happen in the other Reality unless the little boy gave the grandparents what life was like. "Understood."

Lara pokes her dad. "Father. He is only three. How hard can it be? I want him to like me too."

"He will," Victor says as there was a knock at the door. He opens it as he sees his son.

"Hello Victor and Mira, please come in," Victor says to his son and Mira.

Little Victor walks in smiling as he first sees Lara. "My friends call me Vick."

"Well hello Vick. My friends call me Lara. " Lara saids adorably.

Tonya smirked. "I'm Tonya... My friends call me Tonya.."

Vick smiled as he knew who Tonya was from the photographs at home. "Father, heat should I call you?"

"Such good manners," Victor says, "Dad will be nice."

Mira says to them, "Later Lara, I want you to go into your room with Vick so we can discuss adult matters with your parents."

Lara did not correct Mira because she realize this Tonya was a Quantum twin of her mother as this Mira was a Quantum twin of her aunt. "Yes Aunt Mira. Vick would you like see my IPADD. I call her Viola."

"Sure," Vick says as the two of them went into the bedroom.

Victor face-palms himself. "I wanted him to get to know me some before the two of them went to play."

"Victor," Mira says kindly, "I will like joint custody of Vick but mainly he will be with you. We are in the military and I being a Captain cannot be bogged down with a child all the time. I personally did not have the child but genetically he is my son. "

Tonya nodded. "Some Starships just are not made for families, Victor." Tonya stated towards Victor. "And besides, the Elysium is a good posting for us right now."

"This is true," Victor says as he understood. "The new USS Izar is more battle ready. The ship is designed to take down Borg ships. Bigger ships are not as fast and maneuverable unless it is The Elysium. How many children are on your ship?"

Mira was pleased he did his homework. "Five crew are pregnant and they are being transfer soon so they are being replaced. Our nickname are The Expendables. My crew consists of officers who had a choice of being court martial or serving on the Izar. Some are the most roughest you would ever meet but in a battle, they are reliable."

"I promise you that you will be a part of her life," Victor says reassuring her.

Mira hoped he understood. "Your Mira. What was she like?"

Victor thought for a moment. "Workaholic. Enjoyed authority. Preferred making love standing up as she...."

"Woah Victor," Mira says slapping him once across the cheek. "Too much information. I am not your Mira. Keep answers away from sex."

Victor understood. "Loyal to family. Ship she was assigned to on the other Reality was the Elysium but she longed for a good fight. I know you are not her because there was talk between us on settling down. Some lionesses she said should stay in the wild."

"Yes I do say that," Mira says breathing in a bit. If I would ever settle down it would be someone like you but since I now have a child, I do not need to settle down. She will be my heir and I will be her mother. This works perfectly for me unless you try to make it difficult. We will grow as a family. Tonya, what about you? Are going to be a mother to this new daughter and an aunt to my son?"

Almost at the moment Mira said 'Too much information.' Tonya gave Victor a scolding foot stomp. "I fell in love with Lara the moment I meet her, and how could I do anything less for Vick. Look at them. They adore each other." Tonya gestured to Lara and Vick. "Mira, I'll love him as a mother, but don't deprive Vick of his mother. I'm not a replacement for anyone. especially you." Tonya's profound reason often mediated things in the King family. Even when she was a kid, she was cooling things off.


Mira looks at her sister who was about a decade younger than herself. "I can see where Lara gets acting like an adult. When I was a teenager and you were seven, you acted like Mom telling me to cool down."

"Woah!," Victor says trying to be a peacemaker. "Lara does have some of her mother but she always wanted to be like you. You never apologized for being the smartest in the room. You would always let people know you are the smartest."

Mira was shocked for a moment. It was appealing that he stood up to her because no man had ever done that. Now she sees why the other Mira was in love with him. She exhales for a moment so she would not say anything she would regret. "Victor. I admire your tenacity but please do not ever come in between a discussion with my sister again. Tonya, you do have my permission to marry him in case you need it. I admire a man who has the balls to hold me to my ground and at the same time knows when to keep his cool."

"I pick my husband's carefully. Mira. All through the academy it's been the same for both of us. 'Our standards are too high.' Well, it's better to have standards, than not to. What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger." Tonya noted. "Besides Mira. We're not princesses or girls. We're queens..." Tonya smiled.


"Touché," Mira says with arms folded, "I do say me thing. Each fiancé was an upgrade and do marry Victor here just because of the circumstances but I do say, he is a tall glass of fool water on a hot summer."

"Thanks Mira and Mira is right," Victor says smiling as he sees the two children coming out. "Marry for love."

"Mommy," Vick says holding the IPADD. "This is cool. It talks to me."

"How sweet," Mira says smiling. "Vick you know that thing we talked about. You are going to go live with your father and your sister mainly. When I am not going after bad guys, I will see you."

Vick pouts a bit but sadly he understood. "It's okay Mommy. I will always love you."

"Always," Mira replied.

Tonya chuckled at Victor and gestured him with her. "Still want to marry a Queen. Those kind of conversations are common between two brilliant women. Even mom didn't know what to do with us. And dad just let us sort things out." She said quietly to Victor."

Victor grinned a bit. "Of course a Queen. Okay everyone. Who wants to head to beach. I mean a real beach,"

"I have been swimming like a fish," Vick says proudly.

"I can swim too," Lara says, "Let us invite the grandparents."

"Of course," Victor says looking at Tonya. "Okay everyone. Lara put VIOLA where we always agree."

"Yes Dad," Lara says with approval.
