Nurse conducting Medical check with Tender loving care

Location: Deck 22 Marine Medical

After meeting with Lieutenant Sullivan on Deck 11 Christian was back in Marine Country and made his way over to the Medical facilities it was time for his other check up. Walking into the Medical bay he noticed that there was a lone woman standing by a computer console. Christian walked up to her, "Sergeant, Private Lakema reporting for my Medical check up."

Heather smiled as she greeted the new arrival. "I'm not a doctor Private but I'd be happy to help" She motioned to a nearby biobed. "I'm Heather De La Rosa, ships nurse and marine medic."

"Is this a thing that I am going to have to wait to see the Doctor Sergeant?" he asked. He really wanted to get to his room and get settled. Having spoken with one of the Counselors, toured Marine Country, and just the transfer in general he wanted some rest.

"Not at all" Heather smiled. "I can do a basic medical for you, if there's anything more the doctor wants he'll contact you directly. Just hop up onto the biobed. Anything I should be aware of? Any problems?"

"Other than being emotionally and turamadicly scared from Bootcamp?" he asked as he got up on the Biobed. He felt it was easier to talk about other NCOs than Officers, he did forget that she was a Sergeant for a moment and readjusted for a minute, "Sorry Sergeant that was a crude joke."

Heather smiled. “Please call me Heather, and don’t worry about it. I’ll admit bootcamp isn’t fun! I think most recruits leave with bad memories of one thing or another.”

"Yes, Serg..... Heather," He sat there while she did her thing, "it wasn't... so bad. It is suppose to toughen us up right?"

“It is” Heather nodded as she picked up a medical tricorder and tapped in a few commands before starting a scan. “Are you up to date on your boosters and make contraception?”

"Boosters yes. Contraception... you gotta have a girl for that," he chuckled and looked down for a second. He had never been with a girl before, he wouldn't even know what the first move after kissing would be.

Heather smiled. “Now that is where you’re wrong. Contraception comes suitable for both males and females now. It’s optional of course, but it’s sensible just incase a woman hasn’t used hers.” She finished running her scan. “Well you’re looking in good health so far, I just need to take some bloods for general testing.”

What she was saying made sense and he didn't think that there needed to be any little Lakema's running around either fully human or part human, "Okay. Can you suggest any good Contraceptives?" he watched as she drew the blood. He was always watched it, it was interesting to him.

Putting the hypo with his blood sample in storage ready for testing Heather smiled. “This one right here” She held up a hypo, if I give you this now you won’t need another for six months. It’s that easy.”

"So six months of absolutely no little privates going to be born," he asked just to confirm. Again there would have to be a girl involved in on this which currently there wasn't and probably wouldn't be for a bit unless someone came along but hey there was always one night stands right?

“Well for you anyway!” Heather grinned. “I’ll be around ... Oh seven months by then!"

"Congrats!" Christian said completely surprised, "May he or she be healthy and happy," he said ready for his injection.

“Thank you” Heather smiled warmly and gave Christian his hypo. “There all done.” She smiled warmly. “Don’t worry if you get a call from the doctor, it’ll probably just be a follow up appointment, you might not get a call at all.”

"Well... I made it this far so I doubt that they will call me back unless to chew me out for not seeing them and only seeing a Nurse," Christian replied kicking his feet together first before getting off the Biobed, "Well that wasn't so bad. My intake Nurse manhandled me like crazy." he said with a chuckle.

“Well I prefer to treat my patients with tender loving care!” Heather grinned. “Your blood tests will be tested soon, if there’s anything to worry about I’ll call but I don’t think there will be anything.”

Christian nodded, "Thank-you Sergeant for your tender loving care," he then made his way out of the medical bay and towards his Barrack to start and unpack now it was turning out to be a long day.
