Gary returned the kiss, "I didn't lie I was busy, I just didn't say with what. I think later is better. Dig in and enjoy." He chuckled leaning back to look at her, "Oh? Is that a fact? I think I can safely say that it won't be a problem keeping this up after we're married." He chuckled again, "Marrying me for my cooking and supplying you with Sake."

Lia looked at Gary, "I'm sure I must have something to which you wish as a reward, I'll just have to think about it". She stroked her cleavage and pulled on her bikini bottoms as she spoke, and a wicked come and get me smile on her lips. Taking a bottle of Sake out she poured two small glasses out, she then placed some chicken on to plates. "There you go, good food, good drink and a possible reward later. Aren't you a lucky boy". Lia flashed another come hither smile at her husband to be, right here and now she was enjoying herself.

"Well, I'm sure you will think of something." Gary bantered back, giving her a wink. "I am a lucky boy, very lucky and I thank my lucky stars every day." He answered seriously. He took a sip of the Sake and then a bite of the chicken. "Excellent if I do say so myself." As he took another bite. He grinned at her, "I think I may have out done myself this time."

Victor's father and mother Commander Pyotr Zhukov and Professor Lara Barclay were in swim trunks and a one piece bathing suit. Lara kept looking at Pyotr. "Pyotr, Nichelle told me how you seduced the other me. You had found my one weakness which is the beach. You and I, I mean the other you, the one who died and the other me made it on the beach. You knew from your days at the Academy where my private spot was. The other you found the other me and one thing added to another."

"Ah that makes sense, "Pyotr says grinning. "So now, I am not letting you go."

"Well you know I have to back in a month," Professor Lara says rubbing his cheek with her palm. "Let's make the most of it."

"Agreed," Pyotr pulls her in for a romantic heartfelt kiss. "I brought some sun tan lotion."

"Silly man," She replies, "You can not get sunburned here but I could use a nice massage."

"Indeed," Pyotr grins.

Victor and Tonya who also wearing bathing suits were in the water wading after a nice long race they had. "This is how to live," Victor says as his toes were touching her toes underwater."

"Agreed," Tonya answer as all she thought about at the moment was Victor.

Their daughter Lara was with her little Trill friend and a few other children. Lara felt the only way to make more friends was not to impress them with intelligence but with humor. Her best friend Amelia Tigan was the daughter of one of the Engineers. In the other Reality, they were best friends on the USS Excalibur. Here, Lara got reacquainted with Amelia.

One of the boys named Alec Jordan who was ten who was the son of Alice Jordan who worked Operations kept looking at Lara. Finally he had the nerve to go up to her. "You are Lara Barclay de Tolly. The one came from another reality."

"Yes I am," Lara rewarded him with a slight smile. "You are Alec Jordan. Amelia told me about you. You are gifted in chess."

"I am no Bobby Fisher but I have beaten a few grandmasters," Alec says proudly. "Do you play?"

"Played a few times but I have spent most of my time reading books, doing Science experiments and making things," Lara says studying Alec. "Maybe you could teach me?"

"I would like that," Alec smiled like he was on cloud nine. "Only if you show me your experiments."

Lara shook his hand sealing the agreement. "Deal."

"Lara," Alec asks, "Did you ever come across in your reality with an officer named Phillip Jordan?"

"From Peoria, Illinois?" Lara asks.

"Yes," Alec smiled so hard, his cheeks began to hurt.

"Commander Phillip Jordan distinguished himself on the USS Iwo Jima by taking out a Borg cube single handedly after everyone in his shuttle were either killed or assimilated," Lara placing her fingers near her temple. "But that was before I was born. He was promoted to Captain the next year and he was gave the command of the USS Odyssey."

"How do you know all of this?" Alec was so bewildered.

"Because Amelia told me you are the cutest boy on the ship and you might ask me," Lara says doing something she never did before which was gave him a wink. "I can show you his records on my IPADD in my quarters."

Alec knew the rules of the ship as he felt air in his throat. "I can only come to your quarters in the company of my mother."

"Great," Lara says as she thought. "You bring your chess board and I will show you my IPADD."

"Sounds like a plan," Alec says blushing a bit.

Amelia walked up to Alec. "So you like Lara?"

He smiled liked the little boy he was. "Yes I do."

"But you still like me?" Amelia cocked her young head a bit."

"Of course," Alec replies.

"So who is girlfriend as in sweetheart?" Amelia asked serious.

"Both of you are," Alec says innocently. "I like you both. You both are my girlfriends."

Amelia realized now he was a total geek. "Very well. We are both your girlfriends. Do not get anymore."

Alec felt like he had a frog in his throat. "Can you two swim?"

"I can," Lara responded as she thought to herself Amelia was acting childish about all of this boyfriend girlfriend stuff but then she reminded herself she was only eight but soon to be nine years old.

"I can," Amelia smiled. "You wanta race?"

Without another word, Alec ran to the water as the other two followed.

Arrianna turned her attention back to Josephine. "I do believe this is your first party here on the Elysium's crew. You could say it's part of our ship culture. Our Captain loves throwing lavish and extravagant celebrations during holidays and shore leave." She grinned.

"I had heard about that." Josie smiled and linked her arm through Arri's

Naxea made her way over to a table, grabbing a plate full of food before sitting. She had learned that Tayalas had left the ship with her mother, which cast a shadow on things as she watched the new Chief Engineer's family play at the beach. She would miss the little blueberry as she had affectionately been called.

Jess watched Naxea with Man'darr helping her with the grill. "Man'darr, something's wrong with Nax. She's been like that since we got her back from what they did to her. I'm hoping we can talk her out of leaving." Jess mentioned.

"If it's one thing I've learned about the Major is that she's a private person," Man'darr shrugged. "Lately she has been on edge, often snapping at Marines over issues she would have otherwise let go. She's definitely running a tighter ship so to speak."

"I'm very concerned about her." Jess noted. "She's my best friend. I wonder if I should speak to Lieutenant S'hib. I don't want her alone."

Man'darr glanced back over, watching Lieutenant S'hib sit down next to her. "Well, she's not alone. Lieutenant S'hib had joined her," he commented as he continued to watch as the two talked and soon began laughing. "It looks like she's happy..."he happened to spot something on her right finger...a ring? Major Azhul was never one for jewelry. "And it looks like she has a ring on her right hand. She never wears jewelry."

Lt. Tonya King's parents Former California Governor Jerry King and wife Maria showed up with their three year old grandson Vick King. They could see Tonya having a good time in the water with Victor which pleased them to see their daughter this happy.

Tonya who was in the water saw her parents from a distance. "Victor, my parents are here."

"Then we best go see them," Victor says taking Tonya's hand as they walked out if the water together.

Lara who was with her friends said to them, "My grandparents are here. Come wth me to meet them."

Alec looks at her grandparents saying, "Your grandfather? All I see is the former governor of California."

"That would be he," Lara responded proudly.

Olivia had debated on attending the get together that the Captain had arranged down on the beach, but had decided to show up and attempt to enjoy herself some. As she walked around a bit, Olivia noticed some of the crew already grouped off some talking and enjoying themselves some. Olivia went over to get some food to enjoy.

"Sausage, doctor?" Miraj offered the dish of juicy, chubby little sausages to the lieutenant. "They're good." The barbecue had turned their skins crispy and the fat made the insides tasty, they were pretty perfect. She'd already had two. "There's onions too. And sauerkraut."

"Sausage sounds good," Olivia replied. "Think I will pass on the onions and sauerkraut for the time being. Sometimes they don't always agree with me. Plus, I'm sure that I will find other stuff as well that I will enjoy."

Miraj popped a fingerful of sauerkraut into her mouth and shrugged. "There's bread and dips and stuff at the other end. And a potatoes salad." She started assembling another hotdog. "The falallafel is good, but I like a nice sausage."

"I'm sure I will find all sorts of things to try food wise during this party," Olivia replied. "Plus, I'm sure that some of us may feel the need to not eat for awhile after all this food."

Miraj nodded enthusiastically, her pink bunches swinging, "That's the plan, ma'am. That's the plan."


Tonya walked over to her parents in her wet dripping hair and one piece bathing suit. "Hello Mom, Dad Vick."

"Having fun daughter?" Jerry asks.

"Lots of fun," Tonya replied. "How was the trade negotiations meeting?"

"It was productive," Jerry replied.

Victor wearing only Bermuda swimsuit says to all, "Hello Sir. Hello Mam."

"Victor" Jerry says smiling, "Call me Jerry and if you ever marry my daughter, call me Dad."

"Yes Jerry," Victor says smiling.

Maria was admiring Victor's rippling muscular chest. "Dang. Is that all muscle?"

"It is," Victor says as he recalled Maria would always came out and said was on her mind. "Vick, are you enjoying Pacifica?"

"Yes I am," Vick sighed. "Momma showed me around it and her ship. She told me why I will have to stay with you. There are no children over two years old on her ship."

"That is correct," Victor exhales a bit. "Her ship goes on dangerous missions. Your mother is the best at what she does."

"I understand," Vick answers exhaling out like his father did.

"Victor and Tonya," Jerry says in a concern voice. "There has been a Quantum Incident on the Izar. Mira is okay but she now remembers both realities thanks to a newly discovered Quantum Particle called Miraium. It merged with that reality counterpart. Message her later. She gave me a message to you two that you two have her blessing."

"Wow,"Victor responds with a palm to her forehead. "This is incredible."

Victor's daughter Lara walks up.

Arrianna walked up to the group. "Incredible indeed." She mentioned. "I'm wondering how many situations are developing like this across the Quadrant, Already, we may have people living here in our universe who remember a reality foreign to them."

"Besides El Aurians," Victor answers, "Anyone who are a product of Time Travellors or may have a connection with that reality."

"I may run a few Simulations. But I doubt I'll have the computing power onboard the Elysium to calculate infinity. I could get the college of scholars to give me time with the probability matrix. We use it to simulate conditions that cannot be recreated in a laboratory. Dangerous conditions." Arrianna noted. Given the amount of people we know about who have had a temporal convergence like Victor and your associate have. I might be able to predict the next ones if I have enough data on the phenomenon.

Lara listening to what Arianna says to her, "Commander. What if I told you one might be happening in about two months?"

Victor looks at Lara with an eyebrow going up. "Is there something you are not telling Lara?"

"Yes Father," Lara says a littke nervous. "I was going to tell you all. Yesterday with Mimi, a guy from the future tried to kill a Betazoid Romulan. They told me not to say anything because the timeline was returned to normal when his mother showed up."

Professor Lara "Mimi" Barclay interjected. "Victor. There was an assassin sent from the future to kill Romulan Commander Zodok. He was stopped and then they teleported him away leaving his communication badge. Lara picked it up which caused Captain Addison Blaire to show up immediately. She told Lara that she'd might gain memories in about two months on a project she was going to work on with the Communication Badge."

Victor scratches his head a bit. "I can not fuss at you for something you have not done yet but was going to do."

Tonya asks, "What were you plan on doing?"

Lara explained. "I guess what I did was take the communication badge a part and try to interface it with VIOLA and add some other elements to create an android or I may have ..."

Lara's grandfather Jerry King spoke next. "Lara. Do not say another word. You have rights. They can not discipline you because that would effect the time line. If they make the wrong call, the Temporal Officers will show up again. Another words, we have to pretend this never happened because it never happened. Lara needs to get with the Commander here on all possible scenarios so if anything happens, we will be prepared."

"Thank you Grandfather," Lara says looking at Arianna. "I will report to you tomorrow as my grandfather suggested."

"I can convince the Senate and my cousin to give us their blessing. If we know when these convergences happen, we can prepare to mitigate them. Right now I agree with Lara. Mitigating their impact would be helpful in the long run." Arri noted. "They may have immediate consequences, We may have one in every month, or even years."

"Thank you Commander," Professor Lara Barclay de Tolly says with a smile.

Andy had grabbed a plate, and overloaded it with pretty much every plate that he liked, there were some that he avoided, but for the most part he grabbed most. So much that he had trouble keeping it all on the plate. Slowly he made his way to the area of the beach with less people running around, less chance of eating sand.
