Having seen Tate and her father Alicia made her way back to quarters to put her feet up and rest. Her reduced schedule was great for giving her time to herself, she wondered if Savar was free so she pulled out a PADD and checked his schedule. =^= Alicia to Savar, I noticed your schedule is currently free are able to drop by for a break? =^=

Savar's voice came back instantly, =^= Savar to Alicia, I currently am in my office. I was reviewing my upcoming appointments. However your suggestion sounds much more enjoyable. I shall see you shortly.=^=

Alicia smiled =^= Excellent I’ll see you when you get here. =^= Getting up she walked over to the replicator and got a platter of nibbles, a jug of juice and two glasses. Taking them over to the coffee table a little at a time she put the glasses ready before sitting back down.

It was mere moments before Savar showed up. Entering their quarters he saw Alicia had already a platter of snacks as well as a container of juice and two glasses on the coffee table. "Hello Alicia, I see you have already been busy awaiting my arrival."

“Well I thought you might like a drink and maybe something to eat” She smiled warmly. “I hope I haven’t pulled you away from important reading?”

"Your thoughtfulness knows no bounds Alicia. I would like that very much. No, nothing of vital importance and nothing I cannot put off. " He paused for a moment then continued, "Did you not have an appointment of your own today?"

“I’ve just come from my pre-natal check up with Tate, all is fine. My blood pressure is still up a little but not serious. I also stopped off to see my father.” She paused to pick up some food. “I was wondering if you’d like to spend a date night like we used to? Sthilg says he’s happy to have Connor for an evening.”

"A most excellent suggestion Alicia. I would indeed like us to have a date night. I think it would be most enjoyable."

Alicia smile practically shone. “Excellent! It’ll be nice to have some time to ourselves for an evening, give us time to just concentrate on one another. So I guess the question is when?”

"Indeed it will. As to the question of when, I think in the near future would make the most sense before the baby is born. I do not foresee us having much free time afterwards."

“How’s about tomorrow night?” Alicia grinned. “Provided nothing comes up and Sthilg is available then.”

"Tomorrow night is most agreeable Alicia. You can select a movie for us to watch and if you like I will prepare a meal for us." Savar answered with a nod.

“Wonderful” Alicia nodded nodded enthusiastically. “It’s been a while since we last had time to ourselves. I’ll let Sthilg know and check he’s available tomorrow.”

"Excellent. I will wait to hear from you Alicia before deciding on what to prepare for dinner." Savar answered. "Do you have any preference of what you would like?"

“Hmmm a meat dish would be nice.” Alicia smiled. “Surprise me! And add some of those Vulcan vegetables and side dishes you’ve been wanting me to try, I suddenly fancy trying them.”

"I believe I can arrange that for you Alicia, while I prepare a seafood dinner for myself. Along with vegetables and side dishes you desire to try." Savar replied, already thinking on the meal he would prepare for Alicia. A nice steak or perhaps pork chops would make a nice main course.

“I can change to seafood if it makes it easier?” Alicia gave Savar a warm smile. “It would save you having to prepare a lot of different dishes.”

"No. You want a meat meal and you shall have one Alicia. It is not any trouble. The vegetables for both meals will be the same as will the side dishes." Savar answered.

“Okay, great!” Alicia smiled and nodded. “I know you’ll have to get back in a little while but would you mind giving my neck and back muscles a quick massage? Carrying all this weight around doesn’t help, and I’ve been a bit lax on my exercises the last couple of days.”

Savar nodded. "It is a service I am happy to preform Alicia, let us go to the sofa, so I can give your neck and back a proper massage. I will keep your secret of not doing your exercises. No one else will know."

“I will get my exercises back to normal” Alicia smiled as she sat on the sofa for Savar to help with her aching and stiff muscles.

"I am pleased to hear that Alicia. It is for your benefit that you perform the exercises." Savar replied as his hands began to massage Alicia's back with his strong hands.

“I know, I promised I would do them and I will.” She sighed enjoying the feel of her tight muscles being relieved by Savar’s massaging hands. “That feels ... wonderful.”

" In the meantime, I am pleased this brings you relief Alicia. Your muscles are quite tight. It would help if you laid down more often to both reduce the swelling in your ankles as well as reduce the tightness in your back muscles." Savar replied as his hands moved to massage Alicia's neck.

“That was my next plan, carrying around this bump ..” She motioned to her stomach. “Makes me pretty tired.”

"I can see where that would be true Alicia. However you do not have to much longer to until you will be no longer carry the extra weight around and you will become a mother for a second time." Savar commented.

“That’s true” Alicia nodded. “Then I have to learn how to cope with two children and not just one. As well as juggle a career.” She offered a perplexed look. “I just hope I’ll be good at it.”

"I am confident that you will be as successful in dealing with our children as you are in your career Alicia. Do I need to remind you that you are not alone in this endeavor?" Savar questioned.

“You do not” Alicia shook her head. “We are a partnership, equal in every way and I truly appreciate you being there for me and our children.”

"I am pleased you remember as well as the fact that your memory is sound." Savar replied with a hint of teasing reserved for Alicia.

“I’ll admit baby brain is definitely a problem!” She grinned playfully.

"Nonsense Alicia, you are anything but a baby brain." Savar answered with conviction.

Alicia grinned. “Thank you for that Imzadi.” She looked at the time. “I guess I should be heading to the pick up Connor, his morning session is almost done I promised him he could come home for the nursery lunch hour.”

"I am sure he was quite happy with that news along with being able to have lunch with his mother. It is a special time for him." Savar answered.

Alicia nodded. “I know he’s just a baby but I don’t like to break promises. Besides he’ll have a new sibling in another two or three months.”

"Baby or not. It is important that we keep our promises whenever possible. So Connor trusts us." Savar pointed out.

“Agreed” Alicia smiled. “My parents broke promises to me when I was young, I always swore I’d never break a promise to my own children and I never will.”

"My mother and father were honest with me, no matter what the situation or the circumstance. I think it is the best approach when dealing children and even adults." Savar answered.

“That’s very true” Alicia nodded enjoying the feel of her muscles getting a relaxing massage. “That’s what makes you such a wonderful person and Counsellor.”

Savar continued his massage. "I am grateful for your praise Alicia though I feel your opinion is biased. I however think you are an outstanding counselor and a loving and supportive wife and mother." Savar returned the compliment.

Alicia grinned. “Thank you Imzadi. I think we’re both experts at giving compliments!”

"I am forced to concur in your expert opinion Alicia." Savar remarked as he turned Alicia's head and unexpectedly gave her a kiss. "For all you do for me and Connor along with your father."

Alicia smiled warmly. “I would do anything for all of you, you are all my universe and my life.”

"A sentiment I share, I assure you Alicia," Savar answered without hesitation.
