Mission: MISSION 0 - History Speaks
Location: ACDF Voice of Reason, Lunar Orbit, Earth
549 words - 1.1 OF Standard Post Measure

From the Orbital approach it was very apparent to Warrant officer Sandtail that Earth was Nothing Like Artania. The blue and green Orb was far Closer to Ternan in terms of environment based purely off of his Lunar orbit vantage point. “Going to be cold for you down there, dunepaw,” A gravely voice came from behind him, the heavy footfalls of Captain Fjordfang filling Reo’s large ears as he approached him and the viewport “Not quite Cordian cold…but I doubt there will be a day down there where you’re not clad in a Thermal Jacket to fend off Hypothermia,” he said with a hint of grim amusement staining his voice.

Reo didn’t bother glancing at the Cordian Arten, his tail curling with irritation as the ships Impact drives fired again, causing the Hull to groan in protest at the Acceleration. “So Just like Homeworld then?” he asked with a sigh. “or Any ship that’s outside the 4th fleet?” He added as a shudder ran up his spine. “Besides…Based off the research I did on the way here…Humans prefer temperatures within the Tolerance For Us…even if it is just barely,” he mutters his arms moving up to hug themselves to his armored chest plate. “It’s a shame that I’m not going to a Vulcan ship though…supposedly they like things a bit hotter than Humans do…their world is somewhat similar to Artania, or at least it is now…” he mused softly.

“From what I understand about the Vulcans…they’re pretty much the reason we didn’t join the federation the first time around,” the Older male grunted quietly. “Pacifists…and Psychopaths…at least when it comes to their emotions,” he said as He glanced over his shoulder as the crew of the ACDF Voice of Reason Handled Earths Space control teams instructions. “And they have this pompous attitude that makes The homeworlders Seem Reasonable when they were still claiming patent rights on the colonies,” He grunted as he glanced down at the Marble of Blue beneath them.

“If I Recall...they were the First ship from the federation to make contact with us,” Reo Nodded in agreement. “Rocketed into the system without even bothering to announce themselves to local system control and making a Hard line straight towards the first warship we put a warp dive…gods below they must think themselves invincible.”

“From what I understand? No they Are actually very Logical about things…but they didn’t anticipate Just how advanced we were when they initiated first contact,” The captain grunted quietly. “They were used to barely functional ships, with limited to no form of Ship to ship weaponry, so they didn’t bother with precautions until it was to late.”

“Guess that’s going to be something to try and fix while I’m with the federation then,” Reo sighed quietly as he turned away from the view port for the first time in well over an hour. “Assuming That they still don’t have a proper military order established.” He paused and turned to the captain. “Unless you need something from me sir, I’ll go get my Gear in order for the transfer to Star fleet command,” he said offering a crisp salute.
