Tayalas stood alongside her mommy, happy that she was going to get her other mommy back for keeps. That was the best part, she was coming back for keeps.

Gallia noticed the smile on her tiny blue face and added one of her own, she was as happy as she could remember being for a long time, back when she was content merely being Tayalas' auntie, instead of her mommy. Now though, she was her mommy and was gong to provide the best life for her, hell or high water or anything else be damned. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a coin, "Penny for ye thoughts, love." She asked.

"Okay." Tayalas smiled, happy to talk to her mommy about anything, "You and mommy Kawa awe going to be mawwied, wight?"

"Aye." Gallia smiled, "That we are. Why?"

"That means we no wose hew again, wight?" Tayalas asked, "Wight?"

"Right, she willnae leave us again." Gallia smiled, kissing the little tot's face.

"Then we be togethew fowevew." Tayalas announced, "Tha's good."

"That we are, darlin'." Gallia answered, "We'll never be apart from her again."

"Tha's gweat." Tayalas smiled, she wanted so badly to make Tayalas happy again, fearful as she was of Kara leaving again, "We can sweep nights."

"Aye, we can." Gallia said, picking out Tayalas outfit for the wedding, "Ya know it isnae gonna be a big thing like Sana and Lia's wedding right?"

"Is okay." Tayalas smiled, she was just happy it was finally happening, finally happening.

"Is gonna be." Gallia smiled to Tay, the joy of her heart and soul, "Afta all, is no about how fancy the weddin' is, i's about the people behind it and the feeling from them."

'Tha's wight." Tayalas said happily while mommy dressed her, she wanted to look her best for her mommies after all, "Bout the people there."

"Tha's right, my love." Gallia smiled, happy that Tayalas seemed to get the meaning of the wedding and the love behind it, she loved her so much.

"We gonna see mommy and mommy Kawa get mawwied." Tayalas sang, happy to see Gallia happy, "They be togethew fowevew and evew."

"Aye, from your mouth te God's ear." Gallia smiled, happy to see Tayalas smiling, she hadn't smiled like that in a long, long time. She handed Tayalas has ducky dress and pink shoes, it was her favorite outfit after all.

"What all this mean, mommy?" Tayalas asked as she put on the dress and shoes, "What does this mean fow us?"

There it was, the big question, she could've known she could count on Tayalas to ask it, what did it all mean for them? What did it mean for them going forward, what could she expect? She wanted to encourage the tot, but she knew she had to find the words to make sure Tayalas understood, that she could comprehend it all at her age, she was a child after all, in spite of always seeming like an adult. Gallia looked at her and said, "Means better times are comin' fer all a us, darlin."
