The final years of Kara and Mattias’ time together had flown by, Kara was now facing the very real prospect of losing her brother to the Starfleet Marine Corps. Having reached puberty at a relatively young age Kara had been supported through the beginning of her Betazoid senses by Mattias, being in close quarters together she’d also developed an embarrassing crush on him, which fortunately he’d not even noticed.

Walking to Mattias’ room Kara knocked on the open door and peered inside. “Hey, can I come in?”

Mattias was busy studying for his entrance exam to the Starfleet Marine Corps Officer's Academy. The exam was to take place, on Earth, in three months. The Silver Linings would arrive in orbit with a week to spare.

Laying in his bunk, wearing nothing but a pair of athletic shorts, Mattias glanced away from the PADD he was studying and grinned at Kara. "Of course you can! This is your room too!" He chuckled softly as he looked back at his study guide.

“I guess” Kara nodded and walked inside closing the door behind her. “Matt... I wish you didn’t have to go.” She took a seat on the bunk beside him the skirt she was wearing riding up her legs as she sat down. “What am I supposed to do without you?”

Reaching up to slide the PADD in the slot he made for it under Kara's bunk, Mattias interlocked his fingers behind his head, young, strong muscles rippling and flexing absent-mindedly, he shrugged slightly then answered. "Kay, you'll be fine. You've got your medical studies to keep you busy, plus, there's always the usual helping out around here. Hell, you know this ship as good as I do! You could end up running the show here!"

Kara nodded but didn’t feel a whole lot more reassured. “I don’t want you to go!” She sat looking at him before a sudden lurch in the ship’s propulsion threw her forward onto Mattias. She quickly lifted herself off him before pausing, her eyes met his and in a moment of hormone driven emotion she leant forward and kissed him.

With both his fingers interlaced behind his head, and Kara's hands on his arms, bracing her weight, following the ship's shaking, Mattias couldn't move. Then, he saw the look in her eyes and it caused him to feel a stirring below. He was suprised by the kiss, both its speed and its strength. His eyes went wide at first, but then, he relaxed into the kiss, giving back as much as she gave him.

As the kiss broke Kara released her grip, her eyes were still locked on his as she slowly leant back. “I err... I...” She didn’t know what to say or do.

Mattias was blushing. He was just as lost. This was his sister! And yet, his body had reacted immediately. His skin flushed, his pulse rate increased. Most of all, his mahood came to full attention, partially peaking out from under his athletic shorts.

Kara blushed. “Matt I... I didn’t mean to...” her leaning forward posture was giving him a good view down the low topped clothing she was wearing.

A view that his hormone-driven mind forced him to look down at. He had never seen a view like that before. It caused him to catch his breath. "Kara...I...I'm sorry," his voice a bare whisper. "I don't know what's wrong with me!" He licked his lips, tasting the sweet lip balm that Kara was wearing.

Another shake ran through the ship, causing Kara to fall against him again. This time, his arms came free and he wrapped them around her. So close. Their lips almost touching. "Kay...." he gasped slightly when her bare leg rubbed up against his manhood.

Kara's breathing was fast and excited as her body pressed against Mattias' with their lips almost touching she couldn't contain herself as she let them meet in another gentle kiss. Her fingers trailing over his chest as she did so.

Mattias couldn't help himself. He pulled her to him and kussed her deeply, moaning and gasping as she continued to touch him.

Kara couldn't help herself as she responded to Mattias' deepening of their kiss. This was all new to her and she was enjoying how it felt. The feel of his touch on her skin where he was holding her was making her even more excited.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Kids?" Their mother's voice came through the door. "Are you two okay? We hit some spacial turbulence back there, and it knocked a few fittings loose."

Kara snapped up, quickly getting off Mattias' bed. "We're fine mum!" She looked at Mattias. "Matt broke my fall."

"Uh..y-yeah!" Mattias stuttered as he tried to hide his enlarged manhood, banging his head on the bottom of Kata's bunk as he quickly sat up. "Ow!"

"You two sure everything's okay? Do you need Doc?" Mom's voice was getting a bit more concerned.

"No it's fine mum!" Kara motioned Mattias towards the bathroom to take a cold shower just in case their mum decided to come in. "Matt just stubbed his toe is all."

Getting up from the bed, Matt's arousal was even more noticeable. He quickly moved to the small shower and got in, turning it on, to cool himself off.

"Tell the doc I'll be up soon for my lesson soon mum. I'm just gonna grab a bite to eat and I'll be there." Kara looked towards the bathroom, she was almost tempted to join Mattias inside.

Mattias turned and could nearly feel Kara. As if she was staring at him through the thin duranium wall. As the cold water continued to cascade down his back, he felt a presence behind him, just outside the clear door stall.

Kara was standing just outside the shower door, she was fighting the urge to strip off and step in. Would it be so wrong if something did happen between them? They weren’t blood related like other siblings. She slowly slipped out of her clothing and stood naked simply watching him shower.

Slowly, Mattias turned. His eyes grew wide and he swallowed hard when he saw Kara, his little sister, standing outside, her clothes on the deck at her feet. His mind was a battle scene. On one side, his intellect was saying that this was his baby sister! However, the hormones that were surging through his body was screaming that they weren't blood. Slowly, he slid back the shower door, nothing between their young nude bodies now but air, and uncertainty, mixed with a little fear....and excitement. "Kara..." he said, his eyes moving ove every inch of her developing body.

It was at that moment that Kara realised just what it was she was trying to do, and how disappointed, and angry their parents would be if they found out about it. “Matt I... I’m sorry!” She shook her head and quickly grabbed her clothes before disappearing from the bathroom.

It took Mattias a few beats to recover from what had just happened. Sliding the stall door shut again, he stayed up under the freezing water until his lips turned blue.
