Mission: Darkness Rising - A Phoenix Lalor Sub Plot
Location: Equinox, Science Lab
Timeline: MD-17 1000 Hrs

Arrianna was already converting one of the spare bays into something of a scientific laboratory. She didn't have the resources that she was used to on the Elysium, but she knew how to make do with what she found, and what she could replicate. The woman was tireless, constantly trying to make it up to Lily and Malakai for losing Cragen.

Walking in Malakai looked at Arri, "Arri, just what are you doing?" He asked in genuine curiosity.

"I plan on applying my unique talents to locating Cragen. I may also be able to provide additional resources vital to locating Cragen. and provide support for additional operations." Arri noted.

"I'm all for that." Malakai said honestly. 'The sooner we find him the better. Have a score to settle with him and I know you do as well."

"A Science Officer will be extremely valuable here. I'll be able to figure out what Cragen hasn't thought of yet. And I'll be able to research ways to reverse the damage Cragen has done to his slaves. Maybe through this, I can find a way to help Josie." She noted. "I'm just surprised the Epsilon Protocol didn't come to me sooner. There is much I could have done to aid you, And I found some great friends that Phoenix had. I am so pleased to meet this crew." Arri noted. "When our mission is complete. I'll do my best to smooth things over with the Elysium's Crew, as they are some of the finest officers Phoenix has served with." Arri explained. "You know where I learned to spacewalk so well? That was Commander Jessica Vaii's Zero G training. The crew believes that woman is the Federation's Eric Hartmann." Arri smiled.

"I hope you can come up with a way to help Josie once we get her back and we will get her back." Malakai said forcefully. "I'd like to see the Elysium and meet the crew especially Phoenix's friends who are still onboard." Malakai added with a smile.

"You'd like Vaii. She has Respect both on the Bridge and the lower decks." Arri noted. "Especially for a woman who's been awared both the Christopher Pike Medal of Valor and the Starfleet Medal of Honor for Bravery in the line of duty. Carrington would never appreciate her." Arri noted. "I imagine, right now... Vaii is trying to keep the crew's tempers from flaring towards that woman. The Crew will give Vaii the respect they'll never give Yasmine Carrington, and that will drive that arrogant woman into a tizzy. Especially when Yasmine's ego starts crucifying herself for failing to surpass Phoenix Lalor. Ascendants..." Arrianna noted. "See, this is why I'm trying to do my utmost right now. There was no chance for this to succeed. Even if I and Josie were not enslaved, and you got in good with Cragen. It would have cost you Kara... Just like it cost me Josie... Cragen has a fascination with blondes. I'm fond of Kara... but I'm afraid for her, Malakai. She made a grave err even thinking about tempting Cragen and now that man will obsess over her. She has blonde hair, and she looks like my Josephine."

"I'm sure I'd like all the senior staff of the Elysium. Phoenix wouldn't have any dead beats on her crew especially among her bridge crew." Malakai replied with a smile but his expression changed and his voice got cold. "No way in hell is he getting his hands on Kara. I'll cut his heart out with a spoon if he even thinks about it. She's my wife, my love my everything." He said simply but with great emotion and conviction.

"Malakai. Ill assist you however i can. I don't want anyone here to know my screaming at night, how I scream for Josie to come to me. This pain is mine alone, but I'm afraid he may have broken Josie beyond any hope. If she's that far gone.... " Arri shead a tear. Ill do what my people's ancestor did and declare a crusade against every slaver in the quadrant." She noted. "To the Alindari, a crusade is a call to arms against a terrible threat to the Alindari. Armies and fleets will be gathered, and my people will march to war. We're not warlike, but a crusade will demand absolute resolve. Which is why I don't want to do it yet."

"Anyway I've called for Lily. I have a plan to gather some intel on Cragen. We need to recover my and Josie's yachr; The Rising Phoenix."

"I appreciate your help Arri." Malakai said honestly and as far as Josie, we will get her back. You must never loos hope Arri. Never. I'm sure Josie knows you are coming for her and is doing her best to stay strong until the day you rescue her and you will."

"Where is your yacht Arri?" He asked the science officer.

Arri spoke. "I do not know, but before we were captured, I locked out all the yacht's command functions. The lockouts are based off of fractal encryption. Since Cragen was more interested in me and Josie than the ship, I can assume he discarded it... Not that I would have resisted as the woman they made me into." Arrianna mentioned. "But they never asked me about the yacht. And I don't think Cragen wanted to be traced. But there is a way I could trace it. I could use the Rising Phoenix's prefix codes to get the ship's coordinates."

"Then lets get to the bridge so you can use the prefix codes and hopefully get a fix on your yacht and we can go and collect it. It will bring us one step closer to Cragen and getting Josie back."

Arri walked to the bridge. "I'm using a narrow band signal to ping the Phoenix. A locator code. Once I get a response, I can patch into the phoenix and release the lockouts." Arri noted. "I'll then power up the yacht's systems remotely and have it set a course for our location." Arri sent out a low level ping for the yacht.

Malakai watched Arri work. He was truly impressed with her both her intellect and her ability. She was already proving to be a valuable asset to them. With her help he felt even more confident in locating and taking down Cragen and in turn rescuing Josie .

Lily entered the bridge, "ok.. what are you two up to?" she asked tiredly.

"I'm attempting to locate and retrieve the Rising Phoenix Lily." Kate noted.

"Ah." came the reply from Lily. She crossed and sat down at the helm. "You do know if you find it there is a likelihood that it will be a trap."

Kate thought a moment. "Old Alindari Saying; The Trap you know about, becomes the enemy's trap. I can send the Rising Phoenix to any place where we can be doubly sure it isn't a trap."

"ok." Lily replied "as long as you are sure."

Kate thought a moment. "Malakai. Get some of our people for an Ambush. I'm sending the Phoenix to a small Class L Moon. If there is a trap, we'll have a trap waiting for the trap. Follow?"

"I do." Mal replied. "Josh, Anna Sasha, meet me at the weapons locker.''

Kate began sending the narrow band signal out. After about ten minutes, there was a reply. "Good... We have a ping. I'm sending the prefix codes." Arri noted.
