The chime to Baeryn Whavi’s quarters rang. The sound made the hybrid huff.
“Go away!” She called out to the unknown guest.
Not even a second later the doors opened and entered the honey blonde risian. Vira wasn’t wearing her usual smirk, she donned a more serious expression.
“I said ‘go away’ not let yourself in Vira.”
“Yeah, so unlike you. Weird that you actually thought I would listen”
“What do you want?” Baeryn turned away, the less she looked at Ensign Vemre the less she had to acknowledge her presence.
“You.”
“go away”
Vira chuckled as she sat in the edge of the sofa. “You’re cute when people don’t listen to you. Which is usually just me, but it’s cute regardless.”
Baeryn ignored the risian by continuing the cleaning of her quarters. She’d been so busy lately she barely had time to sleep let alone clean and relax. Which she very much wanted to do but couldn’t while looking at the clothes tossed about, the PADDs scattered on every flat surface, the bed unmade. It drove her nuts.
After contemplating her next step, the risian silently stood and began to help. Starting by gathering the articles of clothing in the living area and straightening the throw pillows.
“What are you doing?” Baeryn said while holding a couple padds in her hands trying to decipher which ones went where.
“Helping.” Vira said simply.
Baeryn raised a brow, she was waiting for the butt of the joke. When it never came her features softened a bit. In silence the two girls went about placing Lieutenant Whavis quarters back in order.
In less then a half hour Baeryn plopped down on the sofa satisfied with the state of things. As her head fell back her eyes closed with a sigh.
Vira came up behind the sofa. She took a moment to really look at Baeryn. There was hardly ever a moment when the woman wasn’t running around fixing something. To see the hybrid still for even a minutes time awed her.
Without warning Vira placed both hands on Baeryn’s shoulders and began to massage her. There was almost no pull, she was so tense Vira wasn’t sure she was a hybrid or a Borg.
“Vira what are you doing.” Baeryn said opening just one eye to look up at her.
Wearing a smirk Vira leaned down to whisper in Baeryn’s ear. “I’m helping you relax.”
Baeryn wasnt too worn out to demand she stop. No, as a matter of fact there was nothing keeping her from removing Viras soft but firm hands from her shoulder. Nothing but the fact it felt good. Too good.
Shutting her eyes once more she released a small moan as one of the knots in her shoulder was smoothed out. It was easy to get lost in the touch. In the way her muscles melted under those firm hands. How her gentle knuckles pressed into her skin.
Vira knew all too well what she was doing. It wasn’t the first nor would it be the last time her Risian background came in handy when dealing with Baeryn. After a few minutes Vira stopped and walked around the front of the sofa until she stood in front of Baeryn.
Baeryn slowly opened her eyes as she lifted her head. It wasn’t just the way Vira melted the tension out of her, or how she knew when to be gentle and when to be rough. It was the emotions Baeryn’s betazoid abilities picked up on that put her in such a state of serenity and want that kept her from making Vira leave.
Being with Vira was wrong. And Baeryn was fully well aware of it. Vira was under Baeryn’s authority, a direct subordinate. Being close with her on this personal level was frowned upon by Starfleet.
But it hadn’t stopped her.
“We can’t do this. Not again. I told you.” Baeryn knew she only meant half of what she said.
The risian’s gaze only darkened with desire as she slowly straddled Baeryn. Hazel eyes met obsidian and the temperature in the room grew hot. Vira pulled her uniform top over her head without a second thought.
“Vira.” The hybrid breathed the name, exhaling all the air left in her lungs. The woman on top of her had skin that shined like gold. Like the warm summer sun shone onto the beach. Skin that was irresistible and demanded to be kissed, and touched, and tasted.
Before Baeryn could utter another word, Viras tank top was on the floor.
As Vira leaned forward Baeryn thought their lips were sure to meet, but as soon as her eyes fluttered shut Viras lips were at her neck. Nipping and kissing the length of her throat. Spending more then a few seconds in the soft spot below her ear that sent goosebumps down Baeryn’s arms.
Baeryn’s hands found their way to the risians thighs, squeezing as they traveled closer to her hips. Vira spread her legs wider to press herself lower.
The move drove Baeryn mad. A fierce burning desire taking over. With a hiss she pulled Vira away from her, wrapping her left hand around the other womans neck. The action only caused Vira to smile.
Baeryn held Vira there, the grip on her throat tightened slightly.
“I know you want me.” Vira coaxed. Not a hint of doubt in her voice.
Moments passed and all Baeryn could think of was the last time the two had been together. There was no part of their intercourse that left her unsatisfied. That left her wanting.
Vira was like a drug. An addictive, hard to quiet, life altering drug.
Maybe not quite life altering, but the woman knew how to improve Baeryn’s mood.
“Are you going to listen to what I say?” Baeryn pulled the hazel eyed demon closer to her by the neck.
“If your even capable of words.” Vira retorted.
The hybrid lost all composure then, her right hand sliding from Viras thigh to her plump rear. The hand around her throat brought their lips together and there was no turning back.
