Kara was standing in the bedroom looking at herself in the full length bedroom mirror. She was almost 8 weeks pregnant now and there was the faintest sign of a small bump starting to appear. She was trying to picture just how she’d look with a bigger stomach, something that she had no doubt all pregnant women did.

Malakai walked in as Kara was looking at herself. "Beautiful. Simply beautiful." He said quietly, a huge smile on his face as he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her neck gently and whispered to her, "How you feeling sweetheart?”

Kara smiled as she ran her hands along his arms. “I’m okay, a little tired but apart from that I’m fine.”

He kissed her again, "I know your tired, why don't you come into the living room and sit on the couch, while I fix us something to eat. Have you anything special you'd like?"

Kara turned to face her husband. “The only thing I want right now...” she wrapped her arms around his neck. “Is you” She leant I’m for a passionate kiss.

Malakai returned the kiss with equal passion, "That is something I am more than eager to comply with. I love you Kara."

“I love you too Mal, with all my heart” Kara smiled as she gently took his hand and lead him across to their bed. Pausing at the edge of the bed she gently unbuttoned his shirt taking time to do it with care before sliding her hands across his chest feeling his skin beneath her hands as she pushed his shirt off his shoulders and down onto the floor.

"Oh Kara." Mal whispered softly as Kara unbuttoned his shirt and slid her hands along his chest. "I'm sorry for being so stupid all those years ago. Never again, I promise you."

Kara looked into his eyes. “I was as much to blame Imzadi, I pushed you away more than once. I’m glad you kept coming back to me.”

He lowered his head to touch hers. "I will always come back to you Kara." He admitted, "You are my better half, my soulmate. Lets not dwell on the past. We have the future to think on."

“We do indeed” Kara smiled as she placed his hand on her stomach. “It’s not just us now it’s our baby too.”

Malakai smiled as his hand gently rested on Kara's stomach. "Can you believe it? We made a baby! We're going to be a family! This is so fantastic!"

“I know!” Kara smiled the biggest smile yet. “It’s all falling into place Mal, I finally have the married family life I’ve always wanted.”

"And I have married the woman I have loved for years and I will continue to love and cherish until the end of time."

Kara smiled and kissed her husband passionately. “Enough talk... more enjoyment.”

Malakai returned the kiss with equal passion, wrapping his arms around Kara as they fell back on the bed. He silently thank his lucky stars for allowing him to not only meet Kara but to fall in love with her and marry her. He whispered in her ear. "A sentiment I totally agree with." As he peppered her throat and neck with kisses.

Kara encouraged Malakai as her fingers trailed along his skin, holding him close. Her breathing was heavy with the excitement of what was to come between them.

Malakai responded to Kara's gentle encouragement. He kissed her with love, feeling her soft skin beneath his lips. Kara was his world and when their baby arrived it would part of his world as well. He would love and protect the child just as he did Kara. He wished he was better with words to express how deep and encompassing his love was for Kara.

Kara let her love flow through the bond they shared, hoping Malakai was feeling just how much she loved him. She kissed him with passion and love, letting him know just how much she enjoyed his every touch and kiss.

Malakai did feel Kara's love as they mutually worked on not only pleasing the other but also making the entire act a partnership for that's what they were. Partners. One couldn't succeed without the other.

Kara encouraged her husband’s every kiss, every move. Her fingers trailing to his trousers to encourage him to remove them.

Mal chuckled as Kara's fingers touched his trousers. "Oh! Right." He said sheepishly as he removed them and he was soon as naked as she was. "That is much better." He muttered as he continued his slow kissing of Kara. They had plenty of time to enjoy each other.

Kara sighed with pleasure, Malakai knew just how to pleasure her to bring her the most enjoyment.

With infinite slowness Malakai worked his way down Kara's toned stomach even with the small baby bump as he kissed her softly, gently, lovingly, moving ever downward toward her most personal area.

Kara was revelling in Malakai’s tenderness and love, her fingers ran through his hair as he kissed her encouraging his ever lower movements.

He stopped just above her most personal area and glanced up at Kara. Merriment in his eyes as he saw the love in her eyes. He lowered his head and softly, tenderly kissed her, his lips brushing over her personal area and he knew exciting her more.

Kara sucked in a breath her hands gently gripping the bedsheets, a pleasured sigh escaping her lips as she exhaled the breath. “Ohhh Mal...”

Malakai didn't answer but Kara's pleasured sigh was music to his ears as he continued to lightly kiss her personal area with light, feather soft kisses to keep her aroused and of course happy.

"As am I Kara my darling." Malakai replied as he felt rising proof of his love for Kara.

“Mmm is that so?” Kara grinned a wry grin. “Maybe you’d like me to show you how much I’m enjoying this?”

"By all means Kara. We're partners in this um adventure." Malakai grinned at her as he resumed his kissing and added his hands to the routine of working Kara up.

Kara moaned aloud as Malakai returned to pleasing her, her fingers gripping the sheet beneath her. His fingers added a whole other dimension and it was driving her crazy.

"Take it those are good moans Kara my love?" Malakai muttered as he continued to please and tease Kara.

“I will always be at your side” Kara smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder and draped her arm over his chest. She stifled a yawn, their combined love making and being pregnant had worn her out.

"And I will always be here to protect you Kara and our child." Malakai whispered as he held her tight. "We are in this journey together forever."
