Timeline: MD 6 1430
564 words - 1.1 OF Standard Post Measure

After the shuttle landed, Victor brought his gear to the Engineering Office. He inquired about Tonya as he soon found out she was not back yet. He carefully stored all of what he brought as logged it all back into the inventory as he had so much on his mind from being engaged now to

Victor read each report over and over so he could get caught up on what he missed. He read the one Ensign Napoleon Bond filed about the Exocomp. He added his comments as he felt the only upgrade the Exocomp needed was an improved holographic visual based upon the protocols of what a nurse should do.

After reading the reports, he proceeded to read his messages. One was from his father was was now engaged to Captain Mira King, the sister of Tonya. He grinned a bit that within a year, his father will become his brother-in-law. Victor facepalms himself because his son Vick will have to call his father Grandfather, Uncle and Step-father.

Ensign Tarr Zell, the muscular tall apish looking Ingavi walked in as he first noticed Victor chuckling. Victor explains about his father is engaged to his fiancé’s sister. Tarr gave a grunt for a laugh. “That would be complicated I suppose.”

“Yes but we will get used to it,” Victor says, “So is there anything I can do to help?”

“Not at all Sir,” Tarr replied.

“I saw on my reports Kara fixed a plasma leak,” Victor added. “That is the kind of officer I appreciate and I appreciate you as well. Both of you are always finding the issues right when they start. Keep up the good work.”

“Thank you Sir,” Tarr grinned. “Sir, do you need anything?”

Victor could tell Tarr was eager to end his shift. “We will be getting another Ingavi officer but he will be in Logistics. He will not be here long because he will be going to the Academy when the next semester starts up. Make sure Cadet Byn Nam feels at home and show him what you can.”

Tarr really grinned next. “Oh I know him. Sure thing.”

“Great,” Victor nodded. “You are dismissed now. I need to go check on my family now.”

“Me too,” Tarr said. He saluted then left.

Victor continued reading his messages. Inquiries he made came back classified as he pondered what became of individuals in this reality.

He then went to his quarters to see how his children were doing. Both were doing their lessons with their prospective hologram teachers. Both children stopped what they were doing.

Lara places her hands on her hips. “Dad. Right before you went on your mission, you and Lara went on a late date. Inquiry minds want to know. Spill the beans.”

“Oh we had our date and it was special and memorable but not like you know,” Victor sighed. “Rest of what happened, you are going to have to wait until she gets back.”

Lara could figured it out as she could tell. “Well I am just going to have to wait.” She gives that pondering look. “Well we will just have to celebrate later.”

Victor’s eyebrows went up. “Celebrate what?”

Lara giggled as she was trying a way to get out of she figured it out. “Oh just that your father just married Aunt Mira.”

Victor responded with hand gestures. “Finally.”
