"Are you sure about this?" He asked eyeing her wearily.
"Sure? Not even one bit, this is what makes it so exciting. But you know better than I do, rule 9 of the Rules of Acquisition: Opportunity plus instinct equals profit! My instincts are telling me we can't pass this one up." Myne chuckled and leaned in to kiss his nose. Her hand already stroking his large lobe tenderly.
"Woman, you are going to be the ruin of me one day." The Ferengi sighed as he gave in to the manipulations of the young Trill woman blatantly manipulating him.
"Drava, my love, when will you learn to listen to me? I have a knack for business, I grew up among traders." Myne sliped down to sit on his lap, continuing to stroke her husband's large ear lobe.
"Myne, wife of Drava, you are one phenomenal business woman. I am all too ready to admit that letting you wear clothes had me skeptical at first, but there is no denying results. You've even made me break rule 6 of all things several times now." Drava sighed, completely under her spell.
"Never allow family to stand in the way of opportunity. That I admit is a silly rule and I am glad I brought you over to my way of seeing things. Who is now the most successful trader with the Cardassian Union?" She chuckled as she stroked his pride without a shred of shame. "You always need to know when not to take opportunities that might prove to be false chances."
"Woman, oh how I regret at times marrying you. You have a mouth that is too big for your own good. But you sure know how to make a man feel like he is a king." He winked at her, doing his best to put up some semblance of resistance for the sake of pride at least. Not that he had a chance against her when she set her mind to something.
"Really now? You do? Are you sure you don't want to reconsider that opinion?" Her free hand pulled his onto her growing belly. "You need to be more careful with the mother of your heir after all. Otherwise she might be tempted to a great deal of mischief."
With a long, deep sigh, Drava shook his head. "You know, I wish just for once when we are in private you let me be the boss."
"If you want I can take my clothes off. Respect tradition and all that."
"Yeah right, then you'll be using your womanly wiles to get me under you thumb more easily! I am not falling for that again!"
"Are you sure?" Myne leaned in to whisper into his ear in a low, sultry tone. "I know what you like, I am your wife after all. Do you not wish me to serve you my wonderful husband?"
"Alright! You win! I'll stop pretending I am the one wearing pants in this family. I'll go call and accept the deal." The poor Ferengi shuddered as he gave up.
"Wise man my husband is." Myne laughed and kissed his lips lovingly before getting up and stretching her aching back. "After their latest ventures with the Borg, the Federation is starved for rare materials. They need to pump out new ships and trust me, they won't be looking at the sources. If we move fast we can dictate the price before they start building proper stocks of their own. And before the Gul we have in our pocket starts asking for more bribes."
Drava got up and approached her, hugging her from behind, his hands carefully caressing her bulging belly. "I know, I am just afraid. This is a dangerous ploy, taking advantage of the Federation after such a disaster. I don't want to anger them."
"We won't. Just follow my lead, I know my way around the Federation better than you. I lived among them while growing up after all." She reassured him.
"But gave everything up for me." He pressed carefully.
"I like to think of it as trading up. Dropping out of the Academy to be with you was the decision of my life."
"Don't you regret what could have been? A symbiont of your own? Being more and all that?"
"Not even for a moment. I wouldn't trade this for the galaxy itself." Myne pressed back against him, her hands on his as he caressed her belly and the life growing inside of her. "I wouldn't trade you for a worm for anything."
"I love you too Myne, wife of Drava. You are one heck of a woman."
"Wife of DaiMon Drava you meant to say. Titles are important my love."
