Addison let out a sigh of defeat as she saw the hull breach that ripped most of the corridor. The gap was too wide for her to even attempt to jump. "Damn!" she cursed, as she placed her hands on her hips. She had met several other routes that been impassible and at the moment, she frustrated to say the least. It meant her route to the shuttlebay was cut off. Closing her eyes, she shook her head as she would have to move towards the upper decks and hopefully meet someone along the way.

She turned and backtracked to the nearest intersection and took the corridor to her left. Making her way down, she spotted a humanoid shaped silhouette in the dimly lit corridor. 'Finally!' her mind screamed. "Hey!"

The silhouette took a more feminine shape with two antennae on top of her head as a smile formed. "Rico?" the andorian woman, dressed in a Starfleet flight suit stopped, her antennae twitching in an effort to get a sense of Addison's physiology.

Addison approached her Weapons Officer, 1st Lieutenant Talas 'Hammer'. "Yep! It's good to see you, Hammer!" she greeted her by her call sign, extending her hand. She had only met her WSO after the Elysium left base and hadn't really gotten a chance to know the woman yet.

Hammer grasped Addison's hand and shook it in traditional human customs. The human woman was a bit strange with her slight accent that terrans referred to as old southern United States accent, yet she had proved interesting in the short time she had known the woman. "It's good to see you as well, Rico. Have you had any luck in finding a way to the shuttlebay?"

Addison shook her head. "No. All routes appear to be either blocked or too damaged to pass."

Hammer nodded and then grinned as she took in Addison's clothing. "Guess you didn't get a chance to change? Or is that the new Starfleet uniform and someone neglected to tell me."

Addison grinned sheepishly. "If only. No, I was apparently knocked unconscious and when I came to, my quarters were on fire, so I only had time to get oriented and get out of my quarters.

Hammer let out a chuckle. "Come on. Let's see if we can get to another deck," she gestured.

"I'm with you. Let's go," Addison replied as the two took off on a light jog down the corridor.

After a few minutes, the two came to a jeffries tube access hatch. Addison removed the panel and grasped the manual release handle inside and pulled with some effort as the locks on the hatch released and the hatch slid open.

"Best if I go first," Hammer stated with a grin. "Don't want to accidently get a sight that I wouldn't want to," she gestured at Addison's lounge shorts.

"Ha! Like you wouldn't want to get a look," she joked as Hammer laughed, climbing into the tube and began climbing. Addison followed in after her. "Hopefully I find something to wear soon--it's beginning to get a bit chilly in the ship."

"I know--I love it," Hammer replied, as an Andorian she thrived in cold temperatures.

"Yeah, you would," Addison agreed as the two continued to climb upwards.
