Lia was sat on a futon when little Lia entered the room, the small child wandered up to her adopted mother and sat down beside her. Looking up at at her parent, little Lia made a strange request. "Mummy, can you sing that Japanese song again?"

Taylor glanced down at the child, "What song was that sweetie?"

Little Lia gave her mother a sideways glance and smile, "That one I heard you singing the other day, you knows the one mummy.

Lia had been practicing her Japanese, and had decided to learn a Japanese song to help with her rhythm and timing of the language. "Oh that song, well I really wasn't that good at it."

The child placed her arms around her mothers waist, "I liked it, it was funny and nice."

"Ok honey, but I'm not that good at it." Lia placed her arms around her child and spoke to the computer, "Computer, play the music to the Dango Daikazoku song." Counting down quietly, Lia began to sing:-

As Lia finished the song she glanced down to see her child had fallen asleep, moving gently and with care she managed to scoop little Lia up into her arms. Using the skills she learned as a Geisha, she stood up and headed for the bedroom. Once there she laid her child in her bed, and covered her over with the duvet placing Robyn the toy Fox next to her.

Putting the small nightlight on she checked the room once again, Lia bent down and kissed little Lia on the head. "Good night my little one, sleep tight and have wonderful dreams." Turning around she left the bedroom turning the main lights out, she pulled the sliding door closed slightly and crossed to her futon. Glancing at her own bedroom door, she decided to paint some Dango's on her daughters door sometime in the future. Lia now returned to her report, not that it helped much but as Carol would say "Rules is rules".
