The Magical Evening continues

Walking along arm in arm with Malakai, Kara couldn’t help but wonder what the final surprise of their evening was going to be. “Are you going to give me any clues?” She gave Mal a curious look.

Mal turned his head to look at kara, "Clues? Where's the fun in that Kara?" He asked then chuckled. "Okay, a clue. It is something we used to do a lot of when we were dating, and we've done it once already today."

“Hmmm” Kara had to think about that one. “We’ve done a lot of things today Mal, I think I’ll just wait and see.”

"So, we have Kara, so we have." Mal commented cryptically as the pair walked down the promenade until they reached their destination...The Starlight Room. "We're here!" Mal announced proudly. "Let's go inside, so our evening can continue."

“We’re going dancing?” Kara grinned. “I can’t wait!”

Mal took he rhand and led Kara inside the dance hall. The dance floor was huge but thankfully not very crowded. Mal and Kara were shown to a table close to the dance floor so, Kara wouldn't have far to walk. As they sat, mal talked to the waiter who grinned broadly and left. "Are you enjoying yourself Kara?" He asked.

“I’m having the time of my life!” Kara nodded enthusiastically. “I can’t believe you’ve done all this for me Mal, it’s incredible!”

"Good Kara. I want to show you how much I love you." Mal answered and looked back to the dance floor that was now suddenly empty. "May I have this dance my lady?" As he stook and extended his hand to her.

Kara nodded and took Mal’s hand. All else around them ceased to exist when she was with him, she just wanted to focus on them being together.

Mal led kara out to the middle of the dance floor. as the MC's voice came from an overhead speaker. "Ladies and Gentlemen, Malakai Starr has requested a special dance with the love of his life, his wife Kara and he has requested this song." Soon from the speakers music came forth.

As the song played Mal brought Kara close as they slowly danced. Their eyes on each other, no one else existed. This was all about them, their special moment.

Kara was focussed solely on Malakai, her eyes transfixed on his as they danced. She was well and truly lost in the moment.

Mal slowly danced with Kara. She was his world. As far as he was concerned. The sun rose and set on her. As they danced, he leaned close and whispered into her ear. "I love you Kara. Now and for all eternity."

Kara didn’t need to say the words, instead she simply let her feelings flow from her mind to his. Her feelings were profound, and saying it would only diminish what she was truly feeling.

Mal's smile blossomed as he felt the intensity, conviction and warmth of Kara's feelings enter his mind. In a silent response he held her closer, tighter. He kissed her lips and cheek. He was totally in love with Kara. had been since the day the first met.

The music stopped then restarted as they continued to dance as though there’d been pause. Kara returned Mal’s kiss before laying her head on his shoulder as they continued slowly around the dance floor simply enjoying each other’s company.

Mal slowly waltzed Kara around the dance floor. He wished he could freeze this moment but that was impossible so he did the next best thing and committed every detail to memory. The look on Kara's face, her radiant smile, what she was wearing, the perfume she wore and most important of all, his feelings for her and hers for him.

A while later the music was winding down, and Kara was needing to rest. “How’s about we go home and enjoy what’s left of our evening there?” She smiled as she looked at Mal.

"Oh geez Kara! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to tire you out. Of course, we'll go home and continue our evening there." He finished as his hand closed around hers to lead her out of the Starlight Room and back to their cabin.

“Don’t you dare apologise!” Kara smiled. “I’ve had the time of my life tonight!”

"That's exactly what I was hoping for Kara. That you have the time of your life. Because I sure am." Mal answered with an ear to ear grin.

“Well I definitely did that” Kara grinned. “You are amazing Mal, I love you very much.”

Mal squeezed her hand and kissed her lightly. "If I am Kara, it is because of you and your goodness."

"We could do this all night you know" Kara grinned playfully. "Give each other a million compliments." she leant in for a kiss. "I prefer this..." she gave him a loving, passion filled kiss.

Mal grinned, "Get no argument from me." He muttered as he returned Kara's kiss with equal passion.

As their lips parted Kara motioned towards the bedroom. "How's about we make the most of our time alone while we've got it?"

"Kara baby, I love the way you think." Mal replied as he bent down and scooped her into arms as they headed for the bedroom, all while he peppered her with kisses.

Kara giggled as they reached the bed and Mal placed her down upon it. Patting the bed for him to join her she kissed him with passion. "I do so love you Imzadi."

Mal lay down beside Kara. A bright, happy smile on his face. "I love Kara, now and forever.'

"Forever.." Kara smiled and nodded before kissing Mal with fire, it was going to be the perfect end to a perfect evening.

"Amen." Mal replied with a kiss of equal passion to cap a perfect evening.
