ON

Gary was alone in the quarters he shared with Lia and Little Lia; the lights were low, almost dark to match his mood. The Boobsy twins were out, doing who knew what and it was probably for the best that he was alone. Considering the mood, he was in. He had just left a "discussion" With Phoenix and Rin and had his ass handed to him. He had made a decision on Rin's role on the upcoming away team. A decision he still felt was right but was summarily overruled. A decision Phoenix and Rin had vehemently disagreed with. No, what had him pissed, was that his decision had not only been questioned. His decision was called into question.in a public forum. if Phoenix had wanted to call him on the carpet.

She could have given him the respect he deserved and discussed it privately and rendered her decision privately. However, Phoenix apparently was of a different mind. Which led to the bigger question, was this the start of a trend? Every time he made a decision, he had to worry about Phoenix overruling him. He looked around the dark quarters. "Computer, play Knock. Knock, Knocking on Heaven's Door." An instant later Dylan's voice rang out shattering the quiet and stillness of the quarters.

Mama take this badge from me
I can't use it anymore
It's getting dark too dark to see
Feels like I'm knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Mama put my guns in the ground
I can't shoot them anymore
That cold black cloud is comin' down
Feels like I'm knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
(Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door)
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
(Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door)
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
(Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door)
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
(Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door)
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on Heaven's door

As the song played, he wondered if Phoenix realized the extent of what she had done today.

Lia had heard what had happened to Gary, and to say she wasn't best pleased was an understatement. It seemed as if Lalor had decided to make her whole family pay for HER mistake, and that now pissed Lia off even more. She had just about got her shit together, and now this. WHY? Just what was behind this continued crap heading her way and now her husband. Would they go after little Lia next? if they did it would be a bad move, Lia had now decided that she would kick back even more if that happened.

Turning a corner she saw their quarters, and heard the music. *Best leave him alone for now* she thought, he wouldn't be in the mood to talk just sound off and get even more angry. Lia walked past the door and headed for ten forward, she wanted a couple of shots of Saki to cool her temper.
