T'Kek finished going over inventory of medical supplies. Thankfully it has been a slow day. He used to dread days like these but ever since getting thrown across the galaxy in unknown space, things had been hectic so now he made the most to enjoy days like today even if it was making sure the inventory was correct.

Anna walked in, a pleasant smile on her face and a spring in her step. She seemed in a good mood. "I'm Anna Esquivias," she said. "I'm here for my physical."

T'Kek looked up at hearing a not too familiar feminine voice. He had seen her on the ship before. Heck, who couldn't notice such a beautiful officer. Grinning, he stood. "Dr. T'Kek, at your service. Have a seat on Biobed One. Just your run of the mill physical, I take it?" he asked as he walked next to her towards the Biobed

"Just the run of the mill," Anna said, as she took a seat on the biobed, leaning back a little and resting on her hands. "Anna Esquivias."

Grabbing a nearby PaDD, T'Kek walked over to the Biobed, as he accessed her medical records. "Well, Ms, Esquivias, you're a rarity. Normally, we have to send out security patrols to hunt down crew for their physicals," he joked as he set the PaDD down and reached for a Medical Tricorder.

"Really?" Anna asked, slightly surprised to hear that. "Why do you think that is?"

T'Kek gave a slight shrug. "With this crew, many don't like physicals with most believing they are in perfect health or that we'll discover they have only a day to live," he exaggerated with a grin. "Marines and Security are the worst.". He moved to grab a hypo spray from the nearby tray. "Just going update you on a few vaccinations."

"If I only have a day to live, I figure I'd do better if you guys knew and could try to fix that." She shrugged. "I don't get it."

T'Kek chuckled. "Neither do I but welcome to the world of Starfleet Medical. Though come to think of it. Many new crew are shocked when they see Doctor Sthilg. Many new crew have never seen a Gorn and then they have one as a Chief Medical Officer. I know I was quite taken back when I first arrived and learned that I had a Gorn as a superior officer and supervisor." He finished loading the hypospray and gently pressed it against her neck.

Anna grimaced slightly. "I don't know if I'd met a Gorn before either," she admitted. "I have heard about them and the resolution of that old dispute over Cestus III. A lesson in diplomacy or so my instructors believed. Well, it eventually became one."

T'Kek nodded in agreement. "They're not often encountered but Doctor Sthilg is very approachable, though from what I was understand, you don't want to see his bad side which only few have.". T'Kek places the used hypospray back on the medical tray. "So far you seem in perfect health. Can't make my day even a little exciting, can you?" he joked.

"Look harder," she half-joked. "I'm sure you could find a problem."

"Only thing is that your blood pressure is slightly high but nothing alarming," T'Kek said with slight shrug and grin. "But with everything everyone has been through, that's getting pretty common so just try to relax a little more. What activities do you prefer to do to unwind with?"

"Music," Anna answered him. "The holodeck. Spending time with friends."

"Oh, what type of music? Do you play any instruments," he asked as grabbed a PaDD from a nearby shelf to sign off on the examination results.

"The Ardanan harp," she answered. "Or, as my mother's side of the family calls it, just the harp." Actually, there was a word in Ardanan, but she was making a funny.

T'Kek chuckled as he smiled at Anna. "I understand that the harp, as your mother's side calls it takes a good deal of focus to play. That is quite impressive. You should play it for the crew sometime. '

"I think I will," she agreed.

"Good," he grinned at her. "I hope to hear you play sometime. How long have you been playing?"

"Since I was little," Anna said.

"I see. You otherwise appear to be in good health and are free to go." T'Kek watched her leave the Sickbay.
