Savar sat in the brig and looked at the bare walls surrounding him. The walls stared back at him as if to mock his confinement. It had been a few days since he had been arrested in his counseling office on charges of abandoning cadets, conduct unbecoming an officer and assault on a fellow officer. But his mind didn't dwell on the charges, it was focused on Alicia and their children. She was his wife, his soulmate, his confidant and best friend. They had no secrets from each other. Yet being apart from her, he felt empty, incomplete. To say he missed her was like calling the Pacific Ocean a pond.

Alicia arrived at the brig, having requested a visit to see her beloved husband. To say she disagreed with the whole thing was an understatement, but there was nothing she could do to stop the proverbial ball that had started rolling. Entering the brig she nodded to the guard, knowing that anything they spoke about would be heard and on security recordings as well. Approaching Savar’s cell she paused outside wishing she could get closer, but knowing it wasn’t allowed. “Savar, Imzadi. How are you?”

Savar's entire feature's changed at seeing Alicia and hearing her voice. He stood up and moved closer to the forcefield at the front of the cell. "Alicia my beloved. It is good to see you. Though I apologize that you are seeing me in a cell. How are you handling this? And the children? How are they?" Alicia and his children and their well being were always on his mind.

“Do not blame yourself for your predicament my love” Alicia responded as she decided to sit on the floor showing she wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon. “Connor has noticed your lack of presence, but N’vea is a little too young to notice, as for Soral he’s finding the logic in your arrest flawed, I’m trying my best to help him, but whether he says it or not he misses you. As for me, I wish you were at home I’ll admit it worries me what the outcome might be. Though I believe you to be innocent.”

Savar sat on the floor as well to maintain eye contact with Alicia. "I regret not being there for Connor and Soral though I know you are doing all you can to help him. I wish I was there to assist you. I too wish I was at home and if my petition is granted I will be even if it is under house arrest. I will be with my family." He raised his hand and moved it close to the forcefield so close he could feel the energy pulses on his skin. "Thank you for believing in me. It makes this entire situation more bearable."

“I will ALWAYS believe in you Imzadi, no matter what.” Alicia offered as she let her feelings flow freely through their bond. “I just hope they’ll let you come home to us instead of leaving you in here.”

Savar nodded, "Thank you Alicia. It is good to know that your faith in me remains as strong as ever. It gives me strength to endure this. He stopped, his eyes on her. "I too share your desire that I will be allowed to leave here and return to our home and my family.

Alicia nodded. “I wish I could talk over your case with you, but I know that’s not permitted. I’m not even allowed to be your Counsellor.” She paused. “So, I will be your ever loving supportive wife.”

"I do not wish you to be entangled in my troubles Alicia and you would be if we discussed the case or you were my counselor. However what I need right now is what you have always been, My ever loving and supportive wife. With your love and support we will see this through.”

Alicia nodded. “I will be just that for you Imzadi, I hope they’ll allow you to come home to us after your hearing. I can only but wait and see.”

"I share in that desire Alicia. Home is where I want to be as well. However like you said, we can only wait and see along with remaining positive." Savar replied.

Alicia nodded. “I’ll be there for your hearing, I’m not missing a moment of any of this. I’ll be your rock, as you have been mine.”

Savar's eyes were on Alicia. "We are together in this not through just our bond but our love and devotion for each other. I rely a your strength and support ."

“I will always be strong for you, and for our children.” Alicia smiled. “I just wish I could be here with you all the time, hopefully this won’t be for long.” She looked around noting that her time to visit was almost at its end. “

"My wife, you are always with me. I carry you in my heart and my mind. You are what gives me the strength to keep going. Never for a moment think you are not with me." Savar replied as he looked into the face of the woman he loved.

Alicia smiled and nodded as she stood ready to leave. “As you are always in my mind and heart Savar, I will be at your hearing providing all the support I can.”

Inside the cell Savar rose, he maintained eye contact with Alicia the entire time. "I desire that our next encounter is in our quarters where we can be more ...expressive in our feelings."

Alicia nodded and smiled. “I will hope for that outcome Imzadi. I love you, and I will be at your side no matter what life brings our way.”

:As will I. I love you as well. Thank you for your love and support not only now but continuously. I am most fortunate to have you as my wife and soulmate.' Savar replied his eyes never leaving Alicia's face as if committing it to memory.
