Mishka had by now received the news about the escape of the prisoners at the prison camp, her anger was explosive and revenge now replaced her former idea of just delaying the Federation vessel. "Operations, report on any Federation vessels heading towards the prison". The Ops Officer ran a scan, "There seems to be some sort of battle occurring, but I can not seem to resolve it". He looked up at Mishka, she glared back at him. "Explain", she asked. The Ops Officer read his readouts again, "Both Federation and Romulan vessels are fighting, but there are also Romulan vessels fighting Romulan vessels". This news didn't sit well with Mishka, "Vang'radam!!!!"(Traitors) she shouted, "Do you have the position of the battle? Can you give me a course and distance to it?" Her ship was modern and well armed, if she intervened it could change the course of the battle. The Ops Officer nodded, "Course 115.36, time to arrival 3.5 tarim(about 4 earth hours)".

Slamming her fist down onto a console Mishka cursed under her breath, "Helm, set course 115.36 maximum warp speed", she waited for the helmsman to respond. "As you command Riov, 115.36 maximum warp", the ship almost leaped forwards as the Havraha now sped towards the fight. The crew now made preparations to engage in battle, the Havraha was no stranger to fighting. During the war against the Founders she had fought along side the Federation, Mishka hadn't been happy doing it but her orders had left her no option. She herself had experience with the vessel, victory had been hers on more than one occasion. But as all Captains do, she now toured her vessel as it headed towards battle. She spoke to her crew and gave them hope and strength, and she made sure her ship was able and ready to fight and win. Taylor and his companions no longer concerned her, they where Khoal's problem and he could deal with them as he pleased. Perhaps she would return to the prison and kill every living thing by bombarding the planet, but first the Federation and the traitors.

"Riov, we have the battle area insight", the helmsman reported. Mishka now sat upright and made ready to fight, "Where are they? Scan the area, I can not believe nothing is here". Her Op's Officer scanned the surrounding area finding several destroyed ships but no life signs, "Riov, we are to late. What ever happened here finished before our arrival, all I have are several warp trails. But one of them is Federation, and it is heading for the prison". The information angered Mishka, but she couldn't show it. The crew expected clear commands and direction, and she would give them that. "Follow the Federation warp trail, can you tell how old it is?" The Ops Officer nodded, "Yes Riov, just over 2 tarim. But it seems to be shadowed by another Romulan vessel, we may have to fight our own people". Mishka scowled back, "Vang'radam are not our own people, remember that. Now give me a course, I have work to do". The Officer paled but replied, "Reciprocal course Riov, but I can not say how far they may have traveled". Mishka nodded and smiled, she admired this Officer, he knew his job and his place. "Helm, reciprocal course. Warp six, engage. Operations scan for any Federation vessel within our present course and heading, and inform me immediately". "As you command Riov", came the response.

Moving off the Havraha began her return journey, but her crew were still ready for action. Somewhere ahead the enemy lay waiting, a Federation ship unknown in size or power. And what of the Romulan vessel? Who were they? All these questions filtered through out the Havraha, even her Captain wrestled with thoughts of possible defeat at the hands of fellow Romulans. This mission had been a disaster from the outset, and now the enemies amassed from all sides. Mishka checked her logs, she found no comfort there. The Tal Shiar had told her this mission was vital to her people, and her hatred of the Federation was well known. Had this all been a way to rid themselves of her? These thoughts plagued her, but as things unraveled it looked more and more as if this was planed as a one way mission. Neither she nor the Havraha were meant to return, she was nothing more than a sacrifice to placate the Federation and their toadies.
