Gallia had just finally gotten her desk set up the way she liked it and now had time for the mandatory counseling she'd been trying to avoid, thrilled that she'd at least avoided Maddy. She walked in and took a seat, sipping a bottle of water as she did, and awaited Lt. Savar.

Savar came out of his office, "Lieutenant Norris, if you will kindly come in we can proceed."

"Oh, aye, right." Gallia nodded, walking in and taking a place on the couch, "So, yeah, we can go ahead? Ah need tae get bock tae ma baby as fast as Ah can."

Savar arched an eyebrow at her. "Hurrying will not finish the interview quicker Lieutenant. It will take as long as it takes. Patience is a virtue." He intoned.

"Aye, t'is." Gallia laughed, "But yen cannae explain that payshunce tae a one yare old."

"That is true. However you are not one year old, so please rein in your eagerness to be finished with the review. "Now any significant changes in your life since your last review?"

"Became a department head, mah baby learned tae say mama." Gallia replied, "Got engaged, found out mah fiance was barn both a mon an' a Klingan, well, 'alf Klingan anyhow. Nothin' what was life shatrin' are anythin'."

Savar made notes on his PaDD. "Congratulations on your child saying mama and becoming engaged. Both are important events in your life. How did you feel knowing your fiancé was male?"

"By time Ah knew, Ah was already in love." Gallia stated matter of factly, "Ah couldnae pitcher mah life if she wasnae in it, so it didnae matter mooch."

"Very enlightened of you Lieutenant." Savar observed dryly. "It is a credit to you. Now moving forward what of this past mission? Any troubles coming from it?"

"Troubles? Nay." Gallia shook her head, "A lotta work, aye. Puttin' mah ship back taegether again, that took some time. Whatta mess them Romulans made..."

"Yes the Elysium suffered extensive damage. However I am more concerned with your private life. Any problems that are having a negative impact on you?"

"Nay, in foct, Ah'm actually surprised bah how well mah family took ta Kara, Estelle, an' Liorga. Aunt Mary didnae kick oop any fuss at'al."

"That is a definite advantage and a welcome one even if a bit unheard of. Usually there is some dissent along the line. My question to you now is, do you feel they were being entirely open and honest with you?"

"An' this is how Ah know ye dinnae Aunt Mary." Gallia laughed, "She doesnae give a rat's ass aboot anyone's feelin's, she says what she means an' ye can take it or leave it."

"How refreshing. I would like to meet her." Savar commented.

"Ah think ye might, sir." Gallia nodded, the idea of a Vulcan counselor meeting Great Aunt Mary amusing the hell out of her.

"Indeed. I look forward to the possibility of meeting your Aunt Mary." Savar readily agreed.

"Ah'll tell 'er tae be nice tae ye." Gallia promised, "Even tha's no guarantee."

"Most intriguing." Savar replied, his curiosity about Great Aunt Mary growing. He looked up from his notes. "We are finished Lieutenant. You are cleared for duty. If any problems do arise, my door is always open."

"Aye." Gallia nodded, "Ah'll see ya soon." With that, she headed home to her fiance and child, home was heaven after all.
