ON:

With Commander Velli and her two pilots now gone, Max went back to work trying to catch up on the vast amount of material that had been received such as religious books, and a great volume of liturgical songs.

However, no one had ever bothered to tell the disbursement officers that a holodeck did not need books, or pews; since all of this could be manufactured through the HoloChapels computer, but over the years more than 10,000 volumes of now outdated, and publications dating back to 2310 had been kept in the ships massive storage area.

Back in 2300 when there were chaplains assigned to a ship, the use of Pews, chairs, religious books, lecterns, and the thousands of religious paintings, had all been kept in mint like conditions. But as the years went by they were soon relegated to a storage room, where inside an airtight, and dust-free environment, they looked like they did when they first came out.

For many years the use of Psychologists/counselors were used to provide the same training as the Chaplains, but as the years went by, and Starfleet finding more and more alien humanoid races who ideas about spiritualism was not based on the old Judea/Christain, Islamic, and Buddist teaches were inadequate, to deal with the Aliens who were now being welcomed into the Federation.

So instead of destroying everything Starfleet Logistics and Disbursement officials decided to keep these in the case that the Chaplains position ever came back.

Max feeling a bit overwhelmed went up to the COB's office and after meeting the chief asked for a small detail of enlisted crewmen to help catalog every piece of religious material now located in hundreds of mall storage bays in the Elysium. All morning long the enlisted crewmen who were on the COB's shit list all worked, and it wasn't long before Max left la senior Petty Officer to watch over the 20 enlisted personnel who were now in the HoloChapel cataloging religious items, from books, pews, desks, lecterns, and a baptism fount. Plus the hundreds of religious pictures now inside their airtight containers.

Looking at the time which was now 1600 hrs, the enlisted had to return back to the COB, and now left alone Max was having to do the job of completing the cataloging of things left over, and just as he was getting to work, he heard what sounded like a female voice, that said

"Reverend Max Salonga", and as Max heard that he turned around to find a middle-aged Chief Petty Officer in uniform holding a small Isolinear Chip holder, and a small suitcase standing by her feet. About to salue Max, he said... Chief in here you don't have to salute.

Then Max said, Chief how can I help you? Well continued the Chief, I was sent from Starfleet, as your new Chaplains Assistant. as she looked at the mess left over, and shaking her head the Chief said, "Sir" how abou I just help you out, and you can talk to me as I work.

Interested in the brashness of the Chief, he noticed that she had long black hair, her brown eyes, the high cheekbone, and the small pudgy nose indicative of all Filipinos. As he talked all the Chief said as "Shhh" I'm trying to figure out where you would want these items which were the old fashioned Christmas lights, along with a Nativity scne.

Looking at the items all Max said was Chief you can place them there. Continuing this time in silence Max found a chair and in seconds the Chief found more itmes, especially the vestments that were incomplete. The only things left among the vestments were the sacramental stoles in various colors, and a golden goblet, and another one to hold the bread, which Max said; Chief Aguon put these here.

Finally finished in less than 30 minutes, the Chief had gone over the entire list of items, that had already marked off, as everything as being accounted for, and in her hand she grasped the Padd, where she she had already cataloged and provided the bar codes for everything that was assigned to the Chaplaincy office of the Elysium.

Going to the ships slave unit, that connected the Chaplains office with the ships main computers, she entered All there was left to do when Max returned was say which stayea and which went to recycling.

Then in seconds, she had three sets of hard copies for Max, and one set for Starfleets Chaplancy Office, with the rest for Max as well. Though it was standard for all hard copies to be kept inside the ships main computer, there were other times when a deaprtment kept hard copies for themselves.

Impressed Max said Chief Aguan, why don't you come and have a seat in my office. Following Max
