Gary was in his quarters when Avalon appeared and informed him that the Captain wanted to seem him as
soon as possible. After thanking the AI, he put on a fresh uniform and checked himself over in the mirror
that everything was in order. That done, moments later he arrived at the Captain's Ready Room. Wiping
away invisible dust, he straighten his tunic and buzzed the door chime to gain admittance.

The door opened and Phoenix waved him in as she paced back and forth.

At her wave Gary entered and moved to sit down, quickly picking up on Phoenix's restlessness. Something was
obviously bothering the Captain of the Elysium. However Gary didn't press her for an explanation. He knew she
would explain everything when she was ready and not before.

Avalon appeared and informed Lia of the Captains orders, after a slight start Lia thanked the AI and refreshed her uniform. She walked along to the turbo lift and requested the bridge, her mind turned over just what Starfleet had stuck them with this time. Lia approached the ready room door and hit the buzzer, time to suck it and see.

Phoenix waved Gary to a seat and then called out . "Come in!" To the next person arriving. When she saw it was Aurelia she gave the officer the come ahead wave and resumed her pacing. The Marine Chief was all that was left to arrive.

Gary turned his head to see who had entered next. Seeing Lia, he smiled and gave her a nod. He turned back to watch Phoenix resume her pacing. *She's going to wear a trench right into the carpet at the rate she's pacing. Wonder what's got her so worked up. Guess we'll find out when she's ready to tell us.* He thought to himself.

The Door opened and in came Captain Styles, he straightened his uniform, "You asked for me, Cap'n?"

Phoenix nodded. "Come in, and sit down." She said with a smile. She stopped pacing and the door slid shut behind him.

Gary nodded at the Marine Captain and returned his gaze to Phoenix, it appeared that she was getting ready to explain why she had summoned them here.

***A while later***

Phoenix watched her officers leave and then sealed her office behind her as she left it in their wake.
