Phoenix stepped from the Ready room onto the bridge in total silence. She moved to the center chair and sat.
As she did so, Avalon appeared. "Captain, our eta to the wormhole is 30 seconds."
Phoenix looked at the helm. "Drop us out of warp Commander Qwynn."
"Dropping out of warp," Qwyyn reported stoically. Though the rest of the crew seemed to be doing well enough in getting their bearings once more, she found that some of them were slow to return to normal life aboard the Elysium. Herself. Phoenix. River. The notion of a life or a death that might have been, it was hard for some to accept.
Lia entered behind the Captain, and headed for her station. oO Back through this bloody wormhole, fan-soddin'-tasic Oo, she thought. She started to run a few scans and found nothing, "All long range scans are showing clear and green Captain, no results for the wormhole though. No surprise there".
After Lia had left, Gary sat on the couch and thought about what she had said. He really didn't want to talk to Oka-san or her girls however another idea entered his mind. Now would be a good time for a trip back to the Old West. A smile crossed his face, time for the mysterious stranger to ride again.
Matias was in Engineering as he was updating the systems. There were a few bugs to work out before he would be summoned to the bridge.
Back in Tate's office, she was finishing the last of her clinical notes in anticipation of their arrival at Deep Space Nine. Something about that particular station excited people when they came to visit, it seemed. Sullivan have never spent more than a few hours there, but had found it to be one of the most intriguing stations in all of Starfleet.
Down in the ship's sickbay the gorn had finished a busy night of seeing patients. A few of the crew were having problems sleeping since the meeting of their other selves. Nothing serious that wouldn't be fixed with a few good nights sleep. He could tell the ship was about to enter the wormhole soon. Maybe he'd go to a viewport and take a look.
Styles sat in Ten-Forward, watching DS9 get closer and closer, he liked this old station, and couldn't wait to visit Quark's.
Phoenix looked towards the warmhole. "Take us in Liselle. Once on the otherside, set course to DS9, and Arri, request docking please" she said softly as she moved restlessly in her seat.
As they exited the wormhole Lia exhaled, "Still don't like those bloody things, oh scans show clear and green Captain. Closest vessel is the station it's self". She watched as DS9 came ever closer, not a deployment she ever considered. Still someone had to be here, she turned back to her console.
Arri spoke. "Deep Space Nine, Operations, this is the USS Elysium. We request Docking Instructions." She began to recieve the instructions. "We're clear for Upper Pylon two."
Glancing round the bridge, Lia noted how quiet it had become. oO To busy trying to dock the ship Oo she thought. "Still green on the screen Captain, just a shuttle departing from a lower pylon heading for Bajor". She noted the shuttles code and appearance, "Looks a bit knocked about, can't be Federation".
Phoenix nodded. "Thank you Lia. Take us in Liselle, and once in clear the crew for shore leave rotation Arri."
Arri responded. "I wonder, should I go and clean out Quark again. These games of chance are quite amusing really. I could clean him out using simple mathematical algorithims but where's the fun in making the Ferengi a beggar."
"I could do with some pressed latinum Lieutenant, lets do it any way". Stated Lia with a grin on her face, although she didn't mean it.
Arri chuckled. "Perhaps we leave him with just enough to maintain his establishment. I can estimate with a fair amount of accuracy if Quark possesses too much wealth, the chances of him being an annoyance to DS9 Security increases. We'd be doing the station a service, Commander Holmes."
Lia giggled, "You know I'm almost tempted Lieutenant, but I've heard the Klingon Security Chief doesn't like people teasing the little Ferengi. Any idea why?" She continued her scans and noted the shuttle heading away from Bajor, "Captain, that shuttle seems to heading for deep space. Do you want me to track it?"
Wynter listened to the commentary on the bridge from the intelligence bubble, as the ship headed to dock.
Phoenix shook her head. "No thank you Lia. Send the Details to the Station Command. let them do the tracking."
The Elysium docked smoothly with DS9. "Have a pleasant time Ladies and Gentlemen." Phoenix said and turned for her office.
