Arri and Josie materialized before the access conduit leading to the Nacelle tube. "Smart, Vanessa. Only problem is you're a sitting duck here." Arrianna said to herself as she climbed the ladder to the nacelle tube.

"Maybe, if they have people to defend it they are not so much."

Near the end of the climb, Arri arrived at the access hatch to the nacelle and pounded on the hatch door.

Serenity looked up from where she had been helping the medic with Nevada and Isaac.

"Imik, Sandtail," She said grabbing her phaser rifle. "On the door. Consul, move back."

Arri suddenly felt the fear in the room and then focused on Vanessa.

*Vanessa.... It's me. Arrianna.*

Vanessa pushed Serenity's phaser down. "It's Commander Vantar. I know her thoughts anywhere."

Arri opened the door. "Lieutenant Triannth. I am coming to you unarmed. It is vital that you trust me, as we do not have much time to save our ship and crew." Arrianna emerged with her hands up.

Imik stood ready, but someone now moved forwards. She lowered her blaster and waited, if these others made just one wrong move she would react swiftly.

Arri spoke. "Listen carefully. I managed to replace my alternate, But we don't have much time until we're missed. I need someone here to replace another alternate. We may have only one chance to save Captain Lalor, but we need to infiltrate the ISS Elysium. I need you, Vanessa."

Reaching out with her mind, Imik now touched the speaker gently. Not wishing to alert them, but she sensed an alert mind but it wasn't a Mirror mind she had already felt those.

Arri looked at Imik. *Imik. It is me. I'll let you feel the interior of my mind, but beware; my emotional control is strained. And my alternate attempted to control my mind through telepathy. My mind is in chaos.*

She shook her head, "There is no need, I already know who and what you are. But if you require assistance in calming your mind, I might be able to help in that regard". Imik moved forward, "My people have some unusual methods when it comes to calming a troubled mind, I would not know if your people could bare that torment".

"I'm good for the moment. I just need my cousin and whomever you can spare. I think we can get to the Captain." Arri noted. "But I have to play the part of a monster."

Imik nodded her head, "A difficult thing to do, when ones mind does not wish to behave as one wishes. I would like to aide you, but I fear I am needed here".

Arri spoke. "I actually have a special assignment for all of your here. I've learned why they've gone through the trouble to bring us into this alternate universe; They desire our Quantum Slipstream Propulsion system. My alternate had knowledge of the Mirror Gary Taylor's plan, when she attempted to destroy my mind, the link worked both ways and I destroyed hers. It must not fall into the hands of these Terrans, as they intend to use it for conquest. I require some volunteers here to sabotage the primary navigation matrix for the drive's navigation core. This will disable the system in a way without destroying it completely."

Vanessa thought a moment. "I'm with you, Arrianna. We're running out of time. Eventually they will find us here, and when they do; ascendants help us all."
