Lara's father Victor brought Lara to her counseling session. He said to her he was taking Tonya for a walk, so she would have to return back to the quarters on her own, so she said not to worry, she was going to go to ask a security guard. Lara walks in wearing her Acting Scientist Mate uniform. "Counselor Alicia I am here."

“Wow! Look at you!” Alicia smiled as she looked at Lori in her uniform. “How are you Lara?”

"Happiest I have ever been," Lara says, "My mother of this universe is here, turns out I have little brother and a grandfather. All are super cool. How are you?"

“I’m very well thank you.” Alicia smiled warmly. “I’ve been looking forward to seeing you.”

"I see," Lara says as she sits on the edge of couch. "I know my father has told the changes and you want to know how it is affecting me."

“That’s true I do” Alicia nodded as she sat opposite Lara. “You seem to be well ahead of me on questions and answers today.”

"I always try to calculate what might happen next," Laura smiles adorably.

“You are a very clever and bright young woman Lara, I have no doubt your mother in this universe must be very proud of you. Just bear in mind that there are going to be a lot of things here that are different.”

"I know there are unknowns," Lara says as she continued talking like her Aunt Mira."

Alicia nodded. “To be honest I feel closer to you knowing that we knew each other in your universe. From what I understand I was your counsellor there too.”

"Yes you were but in that reality," Lara says putting her hand on Alicia's forehand, "The Elysium did not go into a Mirror Universe. The ship was on a diplomacy mission and it seem you have resigned to be content. Here you are blissfully happy. I was content too resigned to just be my father and I but now I am on cloud nine. I just want to backflips."

“So I wasn’t happy there” Alicia paused. “What was your life like before Lara?”

"My life before here was mainly studying," Lara says scratching her head a bit. "My father was a workaholic but he did give me an hour or two most every night and one day a week, we had an adventure in the Holodeck. You told me in that reality I built Viola so I could have a mother figure. Yes, she is just AI but she is sophisticated enough to help me with my studies and at the same time tell jokes."

“You had an AI as a friend?” Alicia gave Lara a concerned look. “Didn’t you have any real friends?”

"Yes I had one friend in that reality," Lara answers. "Her name is Amelia. Do you have a crewman on this ship named Joral Bin? That is her father. I have been so caught up what has happened, I have not started socializing yet."

“Give me a moment and I’ll check” Alicia smiled as she picked up her PADD and checked the personnel files for the names. “Actually ... they’re both here.”

"Oh he is and she is," Lara said perking up. "That is fantastic. But she does not know me. How shall I handle this."

“How’s about you go and see them? Just be yourself and tell them what you told me.” Alicia smiled warmly.

"Be myself?" Lara's eyebrow went up. "That is what scares me. I seem to scare others at time. But maybe I should do what Aunt Mira said to me once, take knowledge out of the equation and other children will like me."

“Well being yourself is better.” Alicia paused. “Tell me about when you saw your aunt Mira.”

"Oh Aunt Mira when I saw her," Lara smiles, "We did girly stuff. She would tell me I was like her when she was young. Now I get to do girly stuff with my Mom. I am nervous. What if it is too much for her. "

Alicia grinned Lara never seemed to stop. “Tell me something Lara, have you ever been tested for hyperactivity?”

Lara giggled. "Have I ever been diagnosed being hyperactive. You told me in that reality after you did an evaluation I am hyperactive but not clinical kind. My brain does think very fast and often when I get excited, I have to slow down my talking. Plus you told me to proofread my work because often I might have thought I put something down on paper but I soon realize I did not."

“Ahh now that explains a lot.” Alicia smiled. “So how’s about you take a deep breath and slow down just a little. You’re racing along at warp speed!”

"Must be all the excitement," Lara says feeling her pulse was racing a bit. She lays down on the couch."That is better. "

“Why did you do that?” Alicia looked at Lara curiously.

"Because when you said what you said," Lara breathed a bit. "It made me self aware my heart was racing. I always lay down when that happens." Lara yawns a bit. "I am getting sleepy." Before you know it, she falls asleep just like that.

Two hours go by. Victor and Tonya both come by. Tonya asks, "What happened?"

Alicia looked towards Lara. “She got herself way over excited, lay down and fell asleep.”

"Well it has happen before," Victor says smiling. "She might have a mind of a grown up but she has the body of a child. So any worries?"

Alicia shook her head. “Nothing at present, she’s accepted the change to being here quite well. It’s just a big adventure at the moment.”

"Victor," Tonya asks, "How about you carry her to my quarters and let me watch her?"

"Good idea," Victor says nodding. He scoops her up in his arms. "Thank you. Sorry she fell asleep during it. All this excitement must be too much for Lara."

Alicia nodded. “She’s a child, excitement is normal.”

"I might be new to motherhood," Tonya says looking at Victor, "But if I was her mother, I recommend she does more child stuff than acting like a grownup."

"As far as I am concern," Victor says looking at Tonya, "You are her mother. Alicia put it in the reception records Lt. Tonya King is her mother."

"Thank you Victor," Tonya says feeling good inside he did that gesture.

Alicia smiled warmly, it was nice to see a family together.

Victor tells Alicia , "Till next time. Tomorrow we are going down to Pacifica. Tonya parents will be there with little Victor. Mira will be there as well. My father is on a secret mission and he regrets not coming."

Alicia nodded. “All the best and I’ll see you next time.” Watching them all go she smiled warmly.
