~ Deck 14, Academy ~

Alicia had received the latest Academy transfer list including mention of a Cadet Rackthorn who was following the Counselling track. Heading down to the Academy deck Alicia headed for Rackthorn’s Quarters wanting to introduce herself and see how the Caitian cadet was settling in. Following the computer’s directions to Rackthorn’s Quarters she pressed the chime and waited.

"Come in" came the young voice of Kedar through the door and as Alicia entered, she saw Kedar for the first time. The young feline was wearing his uniform pants and nothing on top. He was golden furred except for his reddish mane of hair and his topless physique was slender, with a bit of muscle to the arms, but generally he just seemed slim. He turned to face the door, his uniform shirt in hand and he blinked. "Oh, you're not S'hib.." he said, covering himself up a bit shyly, rushing to get his shirt on.

"Uh sorry about that, I thought the Commander had come back or something..." he said with a smile then adding "Not that I wanted him to see me...I just mean him being another guy...and..." he trailed off before Alicia interrupted.

Alicia grinned. “It’s perfectly fine Cadet! It’s not like you were naked, and even if you had been you still have your fur for cover.” She smiled warmly. “I’m Alicia Kelea, Chief Counsellor of the Elysium.”

He pulled on the shirt, straightening it up and then shaking his mane out. "Nice to meet you Sir. I've been told to go explore the station while we're here, I'm not sure when my duties will begin at the academy here, it's all a bit of a blur! I'm really excited to get started with my final year and to do it onboard such a ship!"

“She sure is” Alicia smiled warmly. “Please it’s either Alicia, Lieutenant or ma’am, Sir makes me feel like I should be male.” She grinned. “Would you like to have a look around Deck 11? It’s where the Counselling offices are and it’ll give you a chance to see where you’ll be shadowing us in our duties.”

He nodded enthusiastically. "Oh yes I would, but Commander Taylor insisted I go explore the station while we're here, but after I'm done doing that, I can meet you for a tour of the ship? It would be super useful, so I don't walk into people anymore trying to find my way around."

“That would be fine” Alicia smiled warmly. “The Commander is a wise man, it’s best to do as he suggests.”

The Caitian smiled back to her, putting a clip in his mane to keep it neat and nods to her. "Where can I find you when I get back?" he asked.

“I’ll most likely either be in my office or in my quarters, either way feel free to come and find me.” Alicia smiled warmly. “Enjoy exploring the station.”

Kedar pulled his uniform on, making sure he looked great in the mirror before leaving his quarters for the station.
