Arrianna was venting a lot of steam in the holodeck about an hour or so after the meeting. She took a defensive stance, and then began to fight a holographic recreation of Garrett Lovejoy. She was stll wondering for what reason she was remaining in Starfleet. She should be on subspace with her cousin explaining this situation and advising her people to pull out of the UFP. But instead; Commander Taylor convinced her to stay.

One thing was for sure. The emotions of betrayal and treachery was fresh on Arrianna's mind. She hated Carrington. But it was Lovejoy she wanted to kill. She began punching the Garrett hologram several times, hard, when the holodeck doors opened.

Alicia didn’t usually interrupt holodeck time but she had been wanting to talk to Arrianna ever since the meeting. The emotion she’d sensed then, and what she was sensing now had her concerned. “Forgive me for interrupting your program Arrianna, May we talk?”

"No.... Computer give me another one. And increase the difficulty." Arri stated bluntly.

“Arrianna, please!” Alicia ramped up her mental shields, the anger and rage Arri was giving off was potent to say the least. “We have to talk about what’s happened.”

"Oh we have to talk a lot about what's happened." Arrianna mentioned. "They kidnapped Phoenix. Tried her in a secret court. No representation. No writ of Habeus Corpus. Not even the right to the decency and respect that a Starfleet Officer deserves even if she's charged with treason!!!!" Arrianna began to fight with the Hologram again. "They couldn't bring her down with slander. So they lowered themselves to despicable new depths of treachery!!!! They couldn't get her to resign. So they betrayed everything Starfleet and the Federation stood for." Arrianna knocked Garrett in the chops and then stumbled. Breathing.. exhausted.... "Is there no justice anymore, Alicia??? Or have these people turned the Federation we once bled for, into something worse than the Terrans. At least THEY did not pretend to be RIGHTEOUS!!!!"

“I agree it isn’t fair! Not after everything we all went through with Captain Lalor.” Alicia sighed. “It’s not just her Arrianna, it’s bigger than that! Captain Carrington told me that they’ve arrested others, and it seems to stem from our time in the mirror universe.” She paused. “Captain Carrington has told me to warn others, that she’s not afraid to remove people from their positions and move up junior staff instead. We need you here Arrianna.”

"By the grace of all the ascendants!!!" Arrianna noted. "I cannot believe this. It's unreal. Alicia. Even on my world. The First Empress forbade drumheads, show trials, secret courts, and even executions in the Imperial Decrees of the Rights of Sentients." Arri sighed. "Our greatest empress and counselor. Spent one hundred days in deliberation with her wisest advisors, scholars, sophists, and artisans... to ensure the oppression of the Warlords she lead armies against, never returned. And now... By the Ascendants. It's here." Arrianna began to shed tears.

“Arri ... don’t” Alicia offered a gentle hug as reassurance. “We can get through this, all of us together. Whatever is going on, it goes deep and right now we need to pull together and be the crew Phoenix Lalor would want us to be. No matter how much we might dislike it!”

"Very well Counselor. But if this woman callously gets members of this crew killed. I will hold Starfleet Command completely responsible. Moreover, I would go public with all of this and bring all of them down." Arri stated.

Alicia nodded. “I understand, and no matter what I’ll be there to support you.”
