"Computer... Another one."
Arrianna stood in the middle of a dojo with groaning Carrington duplicates around her. No matter how much steam she vented. THere was always more when she stared at the woman It was official. It was more than just distrust of Carrington, She was the Alindari woman's enemy.
The doors to the holodeck opened and Savar strode in. He looked at the scene around him and then at Arri. "Forgive the intrusion Commander but Captain Carrington has ordered a counseling session for you to determine your mental...wellness."
"Has she?" Arrianna noted. "Well if she's so concerned of my mental wellness. She can come down here and we can sing Kumbaya." She looked down at one of the duplicates. "Yes, you like disgracing yourself, don't you. It's amazing you even have the gall to look yourself in the mirror each morning. Or maybe you are a miserable wrench with the moral integrity of a borg drone." Arri spat at the one of the duplicates.
"So then, Commander. Did the Captain even decide what I am going to eat tonight after this counseling session?" Arri mentioned. 'She was angry. Plain angry."
"Commander an Vantar, I fail to see how singing Kumbaya will improve your mental state. Also as Commanding Officer, the Captain has the right to order a counseling session on anyone she feels needs one or in this case you." Savar replied in his calm, unruffled Vulcan way.
"Why should I? She wasn't with us when we were being tortured. She doesn't understand us. And yet she insults this crew, reats us like vermin, and ruins our careers when we say one thing. And the only thing they keep on saying." Arri began shouting. "The only Ascendants damn excuse they have is that 'there are things I am not privy to!!!' Damn her!!! Damn her and all of Starfleet Command straight to hell!!!" She began kicking one of the Yasmine Clones and then suddenly stopped. "I'd take the Terran Empire over these hypocrites. At least they did not pretend to be righteous!!!" She suddenly fell to the ground, exhausted after fighting so long in the holodeck. Sheding tears.
Savar was at her side in an instant. "Commander, I am authorizing a medical leave of absence for you effective immediately. You need a change of scenery as well as time for your mind to heal as well as recover from the torture and stress it has been through. Hopefully your time away will allow you to clear your mind and give you a different perspective on the situation here."
"Very well, I may recover my sense. But I'll never change my views on Yasmine Carrington." Arri mentioned. "But I will never again address her as a Starfleet Captain. Her insult to this crew and the memory of the fallen is unforgivable." Arri mentioned. "But I did not start this antagonism. That began when she stood there, and started mocking Phoenix Lalor that day. She mocked a woman who was tortured for days Savar. I saw her in that thing... And I will never unsee it."
"You will recover Commander." Savar assured her as for your personal view of Captain Carrington that is entirely up to you. I would only suggest you not let your view of the Captain consume you. You need not become obsessed with the Captain and you are rapidly approaching that state Commander. You need to take a step back and organize your thoughts and views." Savar informed her.
"Fine, I'll go on shore leave. That should leave the bitch enough time to use you to convince Starfleet I am crazy." She mentioned. "I just hope she won't destroy your career like she's going to do to mine."
"Commander." Savar answered firmly. "You do me a great disservice if you feel I will be a tool for anyone to say you are crazy when point in fact you are not. You are overworked, overtired along with suffering lingering after effects of post traumatic stress disorder. All which call you for you to go on shore leave."
Arri sighed, "She better not disrespect this crew while I'm on Leave. If she does, then ascendants help me... I will drop her on Nimbus III in an escape pod with the rest of the garbage." She left the room. The fact she agreed to shore leave was progress. But Arrianna was proud of her ship and crew. Not so much of Carrington. "Sorry Savar. I just cannot abide what is happening."
"You are not alone in your feelings in regard to Captain Carrington Commander, others feel as you do. However they are not as vocal in voicing their displeasure with the Captain." Savar pointed out.
"I'm broken, Savar... So broken..." Arri noted. "And she's not helping. I must leave. Just..." Arri shed a tear. "Don't let that woman destroy our crew, and if there is a mutiny... Make sure the crew remembers who they are. An arilock is not justice."
"I disagree Commander, you are not broken. You are overly tired and stressed along with being stressed to the breaking point. Which is why your medical leave starts now. As to destroying our crew I and others will not allow that to happen you have my word on it."
