Arrianna had to swallow the pit in her stomach as she walked to the ready room door. She did not want to give this information to Carrington. From the moment she layed eyes on Carrington, she began to insult Arrianna repeatedly. But Arri was doing this for her crew, not for her. The door chime broke the silence.

"Come" came the call from inside the office.

Arrianna entered with a surreal calm about her, and placed a PADD on the desk.

Yasmine had to own to surprise at the sight of Commander an Vantar entering her office. "Commander" She said keeping her voice calm. "What can I do for you?"

"These are some of Colonel Philip Green's essays on the purity of man, one of his books professing on his 'Homo Superior' analysis recovered by my people's College of Philosophy, and analysis of Green's military strategies, with emphasis on the infamous Geneva Betrayal, from the College of Défense." Arrianna noted. "They should be useful and adequate for you to anticipate any attempt at betrayal from the New Canaanites." Arrrianna stated with her usual formality. It was strange seeing Arri's usual stoicism. But Arri still distrusted Carrington, she was just focused on making sure her crew survived this mission.

Yasmine had heard about the Alindari's network and information gathering abilities, it had been flagged to her by James. Taking the data she studied the woman's face. "Thank you commander" She said. "Would you care to sit down?"

Arrianna looked at Carrington and then sat down. "I cannot sit down for long. I have much to do to keep the crew out of the brig." She said with her usual Calmness. "Not to mention demoted or even charged with treason, tried in a secret court, and shipped off ascendants knows where." She made no secret how distasteful and vile what Starfleet had done.

Yasmine raised an eyebrow. "Finished?" She asked her tone icy.

"I haven't even begun, Captain." Arrianna noted. "You stood there and insulted a woman who endured fourteen days of inhuman torture. I saw her, Carrington..." Arri noted. "I saw what they did to her... I had to become my alternate in that place, just to give a pregnant woman painkillers. And the only thing she asked me... The only thing she cared about 'take care of the crew.'" She stood. "I am not the perfect Starfleet Officer. I falter, I bend, maybe I should be more disciplined, more loyal, more dedicated to the Federation, but I won't break. Commander Taylor convinced me not to."

"I would remind you commander that you are speaking to a superior Officer, and I would also remind you that you are not privy to the information those of higher rank have at their disposal around the activities of Penelope Lalor."

"Very well, Captain. I will not antagonize you further." She noted. "I was instructed through indirect means to cooperate with you, so I will." She mentioned, still keeping her stoic demeanor. "So you now have access to the combined knowledge and academic excellence of a race dedicated to enlightenment. Use it well."

Yasmine had to reign her own temper in and nothing showed on her face. "I will make sure it is used."

"Good evening Captain." Arrianna stood and moved to the door. One thing was for suree; She still hated this woman. And the same 'there are things to which you are not privy to' sentence. The same one from lovejoy. However the emotions were masked behind Arrianna's emotional control.

"Dismissed" Yasmine watched her go icily. She would be damned if this would go on. She brought up the BUPERS file on her console. She could not have this woman in this position not with that attitude.
