Ensign Lorelei Lee felt love for Louis but she had to tell him the truth about a secret she was keeping for a very long time. Her friend Kimberly a couple years back became pregnant by Louis Bordeaux. Lorelei did not find about it until two months ago. Kimberly had since married someone else, so Lorelei was in a difficult situation because she felt how could she continue with her relationship with this secret.

Louis walks in to Lorelei quarters as pondered many life altering questions as in was Lorelei the one he wanted to be for the rest of his life. He loved everything about her true self.

“Lorelei,” Louis said suave with his sly look, “You have that look that you have a lot on your mind.”

“I do,” she sighed as she brushed her palm across his cheek. “I am finding myself thinking about you day and night but there is one thing that is weighing me down which is a secret someone made me promise to keep.”

“Would it by chance be Kimberly,” Louis asked.

“So you know?” Lorelei’s eyebrow went up.

“That she had a miscarriage,” Louis replied sadly, “I know “

Lorelei was shocked at first but she placed her right palm extended. “So that you were told.”

“Well yes,” Louis answered with regret. “Her friend Francine told me six months ago.”

Lorelei turned away for a brief moment but turned to say, “That was the cover story Kimberly must have made up. She had a baby boy and she placed it for adoption with her cousin. I thought I should tell you before you and I get serious.”

Louis felt like a big cross was lifted off his back. He thought silently for three long minutes but he finally spoke. “What is done is done. I sincerely feel you and I have a future and being honest with me is a good start. Since we are being honest, I have had a few other women in my past but this is the first time I ever heard of one of my encounters creating offspring. I do like you Lorelei and I want is to become more than friends.”

Lorelei felt relieved to say the least. “I would like that very much.”

Louis and Lorelei had a very intimate evening as the two tripped the night fantastic.

The next day, the two woke up together. They talked about life plans as the two decided as soon as they can, they will tie the knot.

The next day, Louis and Lorelei were placed on different shifts. Louis was now on Beta Shift while Lorelei was placed on the Gamma Shift. This was for the best, the two would not get anything done if the two of them were working the same shift.

Victor had a talk with the two of them, first separately then together. He told them both just as long as it did not interfere with ship’s business, it was okay with him.

The next day, Louis gave up his quarters to move in to Lorelei’s quarters, mainly because it had a small jacuzzi that was refitted to be made into a water bed for Lorelei.
