With plans made for a family trip to Earth Emily arrived at George and Leilani’s with her packed bag. She travelled pretty light, anything extra she wanted she tended to buy.

Greeting Emily at the door Leilani smiled as Hendor raced across to Emily, he’d been brimming with excitement ever since he’d woken up.

"Auntie Em!" He cried out, bursting with excitement. When the young boy reached his aunt, he wrapped his little arms around her waist tightly, giving her a big hug.

“Hi Hendor!” Emily grinned as she ruffled his hair before straightening it up again. “All ready to go?”

Hendor nodded excitedly. "Mama and Papa said we were going to a paradise island called...." he scrunched up his nose as he tried to remember. "Haway?" He said, unsure if he got it right.

“Hawaii” Emily nodded and smiled. “it’s so exciting isn’t it!?” She hugged Hendor. “I can’t wait to get going, is your papa ready yet?”

Hendor returned the hug from his aunt. He felt like a very lucky little boy. He had Mama and Papa who loved him dearly, his fun Auntie Em, who was always giving him hugs and making him laugh. He also had Skylah, his best friend in the whole world. And, he was going to be a big brother soon too! He was so happy in his life that he could burst.

As he continued to hug his Auntie, he answered. "I think so." Looking up at Emily, he asked, "Auntie Em, is it true that we'll see whales??"

Emily looked at Leilani, then back at Hendor. “It’s possible, there’s nothing more lovely than the site of whales!”

The little boys made a motion of excitement, then ran off to his room to make sure he packed his favorite toys.

George entered the living room and moved to hug his sister. "You know, Em, you are going to have your hands full spoiling both of our children." He grinned at his twin as he spoke

“A job I’m very much looking forward to!” Emily grinned. “Hendor is a wonderful young man, and I can’t wait until your baby is born!”

George smiled at his sister, then he paused. He was sensing that something new had happened to her recently, though she seemed to be trying desperately to hide it from him, even though she knew, over their extremely strong bond, it would be near impossible to do so.

As she seemed positive and very upbeat, he knew it could only be one reason. "Who are they?"

Emily looked at her brother. “Whose who George?”

"The person who has given you such a burst of positive energy, that's who. Whomever they are, I want to thank them for taking care of my little sister."

“What makes you think there’s someone?” Emily gave her big brother a curious, playful look.

"The doctors concluded that I was at least ten minutes older than you," he smirked and chuckled. "And don't try to avoid the question." He gave his twin sister a look that nearly screamed that he wouldn't drip the subject until she told him.

Emily grinned before holding up her hands. “Alright already!” She paused letting the suspense build. “Her name is Harper.” She waited for George’s response.

George's reply was instant. Moving closer, he enveloped his sister in a warm hug, lifting her up off of her feet and spinning her around a few times before setting her back down, all the while saying excitedly, "Oh Em! That's wonderful!! Who is she? How did you meet? What does she do?!"

“I thought Emily just told you, her name is Harper!” Leilani grinned as she looked towards George.

“That’s right” Emily nodded. “She’s a trader, she has a store. We met during our time in lockdown in the shuttlebay, when the ship was under siege.”

George looked back and forth between the two women of his life. "Okay, okay!" He said with a grin, raising his hands in surrender, smiling as he did so. "I know I have zero chance against the both of you." He chuckled, then looked back at Emily. "So long as she keeps treating you like she is making you smile like that, I'm over the moon for you, Sis."

Emily grinned. “Thank you George! To be honest it was you who opened up my mind to being in a relationship with a woman. When we talked last time.”

Shrugging playfully, he replied. "Big brother always knows best!" He grinned like a cheshire cat as he spoke.

“Well I think big brother needs to get a move on!” Emily grinned. “That’s if you ever want to get off on this holiday.”

George chuckled happily. "You're right." He looked around and moved his family's bags in a central location. "Emm, put your bags with ours."

Emily nodded as she picked up her bag and put it with the others, she was looking forward to spending time with her family.

Once her bag was positioned, George reached up and tapped his commbadge. "Transporter Room Three, this is Captain George Charles. My family has placed our bags in the agreed location. Please lock on and transport them down to the pre-arranged coordinates."

A female voice was heard over the comm channel. "Yes, Sir. Lovking on now...transporting." the pile of bags suddenly vanished in a swirl of transporter energy. A few beats later, the voice was heard again. "Sir, I have recieved confirmation that your luggage was safely transported to your requested location. Will there be anything else?"

George shook his head, even though the crewman couldn't see him. "No thank you. My family and I will be down shortly to beam down ourselves. Charles out." He then doubled tapped his commbadge, closing the channel.

He then looked at his family and smiled. "Are we ready?"

“You kidding!? Leilani grinned and nodded. “Let’s get going!!”

George smiled happily at his wife, then scooped up their son and said, "Then let us went!" He then led his family out into the corridor and towards their destination, Transporter Room Three.

***Earth, Hawaii, outside Hilton entrance.

Leilani stood looking around, she couldn’t believe that George had booked them into such a beautiful, and no doubt expensive, hotel. “This is...incredible Imzadi.”

George grinned. "Only the best for my family."

Hendor looked around with wide eyes. He had never seen such a beautiful place before. His young mind was busy taking it all in.

“You think this is amazing, wait until we get inside!” Emily grinned. “I’ve always wanted to stay here, I’ve just never had the chance, until now!” She gave George a big hug. “Thank you George.”

Returning the loving embrace, George replied to his sister. "Well, now we all will be able to enjoy it. We're here for five days and four nights. I got us joining rooms, so Em, you could have some privacy if you want." He gave her a wink, and sent her a thought that she could invite her new friend down.

Emily couldn’t help but grin, her cheeks turning somewhat dark pink. “I’d like that thank you.”

“Will you stop that!” Leilani gave George a playful poke. “Emily might not want to rush into anything.”

Laughing quietly, George looked at his wife. "I didn't imply that she wanted to rush things, just giving her the option to spend some time in paradise with her friend."

“Then I just might ask her” Emily grinned. “If she wants to join me here.”

George nodded in agreement. Though he had only just found out, he could feel the happiness pouring out of his sister. The sensation almost made him want to cry tears of joy. However, he kept control of his emotions. "Alright then, shall we head inside and start to enjoy ourselves?"

“You bet!” Leilani grinned as she looked at George, before practically running in the door with Hendor. She felt like a giddy little schoolgirl all over again. It was so much fun to be here on holiday with her family.

George laughed as he watched Leilani and Hendor run laughing inside the resort hotel. Looking over at his sister, he smirked. "We aren't gonna let them have all the fun, are we?"

“Are you kidding!?” Emily grinned playfully. “No chance!” She gave him a playful tap, “Tag your it!” She playfully ran on ahead.

"Hey!" George laughed and set out after his sister and family.

Once they were booked in, Leilani couldn’t wait to see their room. As the door opened she was astonished to see the sheer size of it. That, and the view from the balcony outside. She grinned as she motioned Hendor towards his room.

Emily meanwhile was frozen in place out on the balcony, the view reminded her very much of the one she saw when she was recovering from the events of her past. It brought back tender memories.

George could feel the emotional mix that was running through his sister's head. Quietly, he sent a message to Leilani, asking if she could take Hendor to the pool, give him and Emily a few minutes.

Leilani smiled at Hendor as she got George’s telepathic message. “How’s about we go on down to the beach? Go get a good spot?” She grabbed their beach things and held out her hand.

Hendor smiled and let out a little excited yelp. After taking his mother's hand, he saw that his father and aunt were just standing at the window. "Mama..what about Papa and Auntie Em?"

“Don’t worry, Papa and Auntie Em will join us soon.” Lani smiled as she looked towards George nodding that it was okay.

George smiled and sent Leilani an image of love. Then, when he and Emily were alone, he put his left arm around her shoulders, offering his strength and support, if she needed it.

Emily rested her head on George’s shoulder. “Sorry...the view, it just brought back memories.” She wiped away a couple of stray tears.

"You never have to apologize, not to me, Emm." He replied quietly. "I still have moments where, something triggers me, and it all comes flooding back again."

Emily nodded, and took a deep breath. “Let’s go join Leilani and Hendor, they’re having all the fun without us!”

Chuckling softly, George nodded. "Sounds good, Emm! He then stepped into the master bedroom and quickly changed I to a black speedo, a floral Hawaiian shirt and sandals. When ge reentered the common area, he called out to his sister. "You ready?"

Emily appeared from her own room, dressed in a swimsuit, matching summery skirt and sandals. “Ready as I’ll ever be!”

George smiled at his sister as they linked arms and left the suite. As they made their way downstairs, he said to her, "I meant what I said, Emm. If you want to bring Harper down to enjoy the trip as well, it's fine by me."

“I know” Emily smiled happily. “I might give her a call later, for now I want to enjoy time with you, Leilani, and Hendor.”

Nodding and smiling, George led Emily out to the beach, where his wife and son were already having fun in the sun.
