***Welcome, my friends, to another look at the other side of the looking glass. In our universe, we see that Arrianna Salannis an Vantar returned to the USS Elysium for help in recovering with her ordeal with Kyle Cragen and Micheal Bishop. Here we explore what might have happened if Arrianna admitted there was no going back to her old life. Here we see what could have happened if Arrianna allowed herself to be consumed by her hatred for Kyle Cragen.***
Deagan, one of Kyle Cragen's associates, found himself hanging from a crane over what appeared to be a large sea. He was El'Aurian and he and Cragen got along swimmingly. Suddenly what appeared to be the maw of a large alien shark emerged from water and gnashed its teeth just meters away from Deagan.
Veronica Tate spoke, wearing sun glasses. No one would even know she was once Arrianna Salannis an Vantar... or 'Flossie...' She hated that name like she hated Arrianna's weakness.
Arrianna was weak... Arrianna was foolish... She is gone...
"He's rather hungry.. Now then... Tell me where to find all of Kyle Cragen's associates.... And his bastards... I know he kept genetic records. Hell. You can even tell me where these El-Aurians have settled. I do have great plans for them." Veronica noted. There was no mercy in her.. Not a single shred.
'Arrianna is dead...' She told herself. 'I'm Veronica Tate now, and there will be no mercy.'
As Deagan fully awakened from his drugged stupor, he first noticed that he was hanging by his wrists over an unknown ocean. Then, before he could say anything, a monstrous beast emerged from the depths and tried to bite onto him.
That was when he heard the woman's voice.
Looking over at the hovership in front of him, Deagan saw her. "Who the fuck are you?!"
Veronica plunged a pain stick into him. "That is not an acceptable reply. I want everything you know about Kyle Cragen. His bastard, half-breeds he has infested this universe with. And every other wretched El-Aurian scum that's out there. Wherever they hide, they should have let the Borg take them. I will have my revenge if I have to wait centuries."
Deagen grunted as the painstick was pressed against his ribs. He tried to move clear, but had no leverage to do do.
When the woman pulled back, he took a few deep breaths. While the painstick did live up to its name, he has experienced much worse over the past centuries.
Hearing her speak about the Borg and then claiming she could wait for centuries, he started to get a picture of who she was. "You're....you're Flossie! The Alindari that Cragen and Bishop turned!" He sneered as he spoke. "You were a great piece of ass! I had my fun with you several times! Do you remember how you begged me?!"
"Flossie is dead... Arrianna is dead. I killed them because they were weak." Veronica noted. "My name is Veronica Tate. And you are going to wish you never met me. See I've been studying El-Aurian biology. What causes you the most amount of pain, and you are going to experience every minute of agony a sentient being could withstand." She plunged the painstick into him. "Fascinating, isn't it. I've found the exact pain threshold that an El-Aurian could withstand, without triggering enough trauma that you would go into a cocoon. In another life, I was a superb scientist." Veronica noted. "Not anymore.. That life is over now."She pushed a few buttons on a crane and brought him onto the ship. Untying him, she forced him into the ship at disruptor point and into what appeared to be a booth.
"I learned about this fascinating machine when I was trapped in the mirror universe. Quite remarkable. It generates pain in alternating regions of the body. Now.. Tell me what I want to know." She turned the Agony Booth on.
Deagon started to scream as his entire body was wracked with pain stimuli. All rational thought left him as his brain was overloaded.
Veronica turned it off. "Everything you know.. Now..."
Deagon took a few beats to catch his breath. As he did so, he moved his tongue over his teeth and found what he was looking for. "I just know one thing, Witch." He looked up at her and activated the neurotoxin, which started blasting through his boy at warp speed. "I'll see you in the afterlife!" White froth suddenly erupted from his lips, his eyes rolled back and he collapsed in the booth, dead.
"There's plenty more El-Aurians to find in this Galaxy. Plenty more of them will be in this booth before my life ends." Veronica prepared to leave Farius Prime. "Time to leave this El-Aurian somewhere public, so they know they are being hunted."
