Getting Closer...

Mission: Season 6: Episode 4: Memory Lane
Location: USS Elysium, Marine Country, Senior NCO Quarters
Timeline: MD 4 / 2330 hours
1268 words - 2.5 OF Standard Post Measure

"Another drink?" Moses asked as he looked over at the angel currently laying in his bed. In the time that they had been in the Circinus Galaxy, he and Gami had moved their relationship from good friends to heavy lovers. There were times now, that he cursed his stupidity for waiting this long to tell her how he felt about her. That she had reciprocated in kind, overjoyed him. Luxa Gami was the woman of his dreams. She was highly intelligent, funny as hell, she had the strength to nearly beat him in the ring, and to top it all off...she was sexier than any woman alive. He was truly grateful and counted his blessings that she allowed him to remain in her life.

Gami propped herself up on her elbows as she looked at Moses. "Of course, you big lug," she grinned at him. Previously, she had sworn off all relationships. Sure, there were one-night stands, mostly at ports but she had never really wanted a committed relationship. At least not until she watched how happy Naxea was in her relationship with that Sequus, Squib, B'ib, no, it was S'hib, right? She always jokingly referred to him as 'Long Dong Silver' due to Sequus' often being hung like well, a horse as she often preferred to associate people with nicknames. Besides, she enjoyed Moses' company.

The big man grinned happily, his bright white teeth a stark contrast to his dark, ebony-volored skin. He got to work on the next round of drinks for the evening. While he normally would stick to beer (usually, the brand that his family brewed back home), he did enjoy other cocktails, if the situation merited it.

Tonight certainly fit the bill. He had started by making margaritas, then he moved to piña coladas. The next round was daiquiris, though those needed some more work. Now, he was making a drink that David had taught him shortly after they first met. When they were finished, he picked up both highball glasses and turned back to face Gami. He smiled brightly when he saw her, covered only in a sheet, looking back at him. "Strawberry mojitos," he said as he handed Gami her drink. He then sat down on the bed next to her. "Have I told you just how absolutely beautiful I think you are, Gam?"

"You think?" She asked with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. "I'd think you'd be certain by now," she took a long sip of her drink.

Moses smiled brightly, as a hearty chuckle rumbled in his powerful chest. "Oh, I do know, baby. Just didn't want you to get too big an ego about it." He winked playfully at her as he took a sip of his drink. Then, after he put his glass down on the endtable, he slid back under the covers and rested his large left hand on Gami's bare left hip. His features softened as he continued, "But I really do. You are the most beautiful person I have ever known." His eyes searched hers as a hint of sadness filled them. "I'm sorry I waited so long to tell you how I really feel about you."

She looked back at him, fighting the urge to make a smartass comment or joke. It was how she dealt with problems. She hated having to face serious or depressing emotions. She had had enough of those during the Dominion Occupation of Betazoid. Though she had to thank the Dominion for of they had never invaded, she wouldn't be the person she is today nor nearly as skilled and powerful of a telepath. "Don't be sorry, you big lug. The important thing is that you acted," she kissed him lightly before taking another sip.

Moses grinned happily as he looked over the angel laying next to him. "And I am going to keep doing want I need to do, to keep you smiling like that, my love." He gazed into her beautifully dark eyes, almost feeling as if he could swim in their pools. For a few moments, he was quiet as they lay there together. Then he spoke up, the emotions inside of him starting to well up. "I love you, Gami."

She didn't have to read his thoughts to know that he meant it. It was the first time a man other than her late father had said that to her. It felt weird. Nice, but weird. "I love you too, Moses," she replied before downing the rest of her drink.

Hearing her say the words back, caused the big man to smile even warmer, if that was even possible. After Gami finished her drink, he took her glass and placed it on the end table, next to his. He then leaned back down to her and kissed her deeply, his thoughts filled with love and affection for only her.

Luxa returned his affection, wrapping her arms around him in the process. She was genuinely happy at the moment which was a rare occurrence when not hanging out with Naxea who was like a sister to her.

As they continued to kiss, Moses became aroused and looked at Gami with a hungry look in his eyes. "You ready to go again, my love?"

"Only if you can handle it," she teased, smiling.

Moses replied by kissing Luxa deeply and spending the next several hours showing her just how much he could handle, and more. In the end, they found themselves tangled up in the sheets together, as they tried to catch their breaths, while the rode the euphoria that their passion had created.

"Not bad," she said, smiling at him as her skin glisten lightly with sweat.

"Not bad?" Moses echoed with a touch of playful annoyance. "I do believe your toes curled several times, little lady."

Luxa raised an eyebrow at the comment. "Little lady?" she mused as the iris of her eyes darkened slightly which only occurred when she began to focus on using her telepathy. "Careful, I'd hate for you to stroll through Marine Country in a pink spandex tutu," she teased with a smile as her irises returned to their normal shade of black.

Running his left hand down his side, Moses didn't seem flustered by the idea. "With this sexy physique? I'd look hot!" He then licked the tip of his index finger and pressed it against his hip, making a sizzling sound with his mouth.

Luxa was unable to stop from bursting out laughing at Moses. "I don't know if I'd go there."

Moses looked lovingly down at Luxa. He then reached out and gently caressed her right cheek with his large hand. "I love your laugh, baby. I'm glad I can make you laugh so freely."

Luxa smiled. "Well, as long as you feed me and tell me I'm pretty, I won't have to kill you like the others," she winked playfully. She thought briefly about herself and how much she had changed since joining the Elysium at the Colonel's request. Normally she avoided relationships, drank a lot as well as start and end bar brawls. Now, she found herself moving away from those activities.

His smile turning impossibly brighter and full of love, Moses replied happily. "If it takes me the rest of my life, I'm going to satisfy every hunger you possess, my beautiful emerald lilac."

Luxa chuckled. "Every hunger? Well, I won't stop you from trying."

The big man grinned again, then he leaned down and kissed Gami deeply, as the computer lowered the light levels in the cabin.

"...pink spandex tutu..."

Creates a stunning visual. A singular visual disturbance. Also, we would appreciate the starting of bar brawls up by eleven (11%) percent please. Thank you very much.
