Andrinn was sitting in his cabin down on Deck 16 looking over some reports that were due by the morning. He was having some trouble sleeping, seeing that Sam was doing a double shift down in Marine Country in the bowels of the ship.

Something that was keeping Andrinn up was the planning for the wedding. Sam had asked him to marry him, which he said yes to instantly. Andrinn was excited for the wedding, but the pair had only started to think about the planning stages of it and had only been engaged for a little while. Stuff like who was going to officiate over the wedding, invitations to the wedding, and so on were on the forefront of Andrinn's mind at the moment along with his regular duties to ship and crew.

Not only was the wedding planning starting to catch up to the pair, the ship was deep into unknown territory with this new alien species that captured species from all around the milky way galaxy and beyond was right around the corner. Andrinn knew that Sam was a marine and would be put into dangerous situations well before the two even started dating and it never bothered Andrinn. However, it didn't mean that Andrinn didn't have the moments of worry and wonder what kinds of situations that Sam would be found in over the next few days, weeks, and months.

Andrinn just wanted Sam to be happy and healthy.

Andrinn snapped back to reality when his computer console beeped and brought him back. Andrinn leaned back up and took his feet off his desk, putting in his command codes to see what was causing the computer console to beep. It was a new intel report and a new event added to his calendar. It was a senior staff meeting for the next afternoon.

Andrinn looked over the intel that was coming in and saw that it appeared that there was a planet that the ship was coming up to or at least would be passing by that was lively. Andrinn wondered if this planet was related in any way to the slaver species and if any slaves were down there on the planet itself. He was sure that there had to be something going on down there, even if it wasn't related to the slave trade of this part of the universe at large.

After responding to the calendar request for his presence at the meeting the following afternoon. Andrinn leaned back in the chair, thinking about how this species was maybe similar, but so different than some species from the Alpha and Beta Quadrant, such as the Orions who have had a slave trade in the past.

However, Andrinn knew better than to compare apples to oranges, especially with this species. He was reading over the reports and something caught his eye that made this species a bit more unique, if it came out to be true. The slavers appeared to have species from the Milky Way, such as Klingons, Romulans, Bolians, and others. It was just curious to see the report saying that those species were this far out.

But, it wasn't unheard of before. Captains Sulu and Riker had found the species of Neyel in the Small Magnetic Cloud that were offshoots of the Human Species. But, to see any species from the Milky Way Galaxy THIS far out was unusual and a bit worrysome. Andrinn made a note to look over it at the meeting in the afternoon.

Until then, he had a few more reports to work on and a future husband to go and surprise. Andrinn got up from his chair and got dressed before heading out of his quarters to head down to Marine Country to visit Sam.
