Escape. Jaeih could feel it in her bones as she walked into the cabin she shared with Wynter. She wanted time off the ship, maybe a bit of shopping but time with Wynter off the ship was key.

"Wyn?" She called out as she toed off her shoes and picked them up to put away.

"In the kitchen Jae." He called out.

She moved into the kitchen. "Hey, what are you doing?" she asked curiously.

"Just working on dinner, how has your day?" be asked chopping up some onion.

"Busy. That Commodore is on board and looking into everything." She stretched. "Hey, how about tomorrow we go station side together and just chill?"

"Sure, any plans?" he asked.

"Just walking and spending time together." Jaeih replied

"Sounds like fun, what time did you want ti go?" Wynter asked.

"Ops has an inspection at 9.. so say 11h00?" Jaeih suggested.

"Sure we can do lunch." He replied with a smile.

"Sound good," She kissed his lips. "A very good idea. A date?"

He kissed her back. "It's been a while hasn't it."

"Yes, it has. Be nice to just to relax and have a proper date for us both." Jaeih smiled.

"You mean one where you aren't jumping me?" Wynter teased.

"OR you jumping me." Came her smart alec reply as she headed towards the bedroom to get changed.
