[ON:]

Andrinn couldn't help but be a little bit nervous about everything that was going on down there on the planet. He heard that the away team had taken the shuttle down there to one of the planets that was owned by this race of enslavers, a group of aliens called the "Thaih'eans" or something. Whatever they were called, they gave Andrinn a bit of the heebie jeebies, or whatever that one emotional state Humans called it.

Andrinn had been working on his reports down in his office as the away team went off. He stood up long enough to turn around to watch as they made their way off to the planet. While he waited for one of the ambassadors that went on the mission to come back with the rest of the away team, Andrinn decided that he would start to help updating the cultural and linguistical database, to flush his mind of everything that could go wrong on the away mission.

Taking a seat back in the comfy chair in his office, Andrinn turned around and tapped on his personal computer interface to wake it up. Once it was back up and running, Andrinn began inputting some commands to bring up the proper databases that he was looking for.

Since he was the Chief DIplomatic Officer, Andrinn knew that he almost had a duty to make sure that the databases were correct with the information relating back to species, their culture, and their language. While most of the databases didn't needed to be updated often, it was something that the Elysium was in a new part of space and Andrinn wanted to make sure that the information that Teeves gave him was put in properly and fixed if it wasn't.

Starting with the native species for Teeves, Andrinn opened up the database to the Lonian people. Since joining up with the Elysium, Mr. Dosivi has had several medical scans done to make sure that he wasn't bringing anything onboard with him. But, those scans gave the crew valuable information about Teeves and his species' biology.

Something that Andrinn noticed from early interactions with Teeves was that his species looked rather humanoid on the exterior, with the exception of a v-shaped crest that adorned their foreheads. Both Teeves and his daughter had the same shape on their heads, which must've been a similar evolution as to the Trill spots. Andrinn shrugged his shoulders as he was thinking about the similarities between the Trill, the Lonians, and various other species from around the universe.

However, once he was done making sure that the physical descriptions and biological scans of the Lonians were properly updated, Andrinn moved onto the native language of the Lonians. While the Elysium's main computer had a Universal Translator, as did the combadges of the crew that manned the ship, it was still important to make sure that the native tongues of the various species were preserved and shown, so that without the UT, everyone could understand one another without them.

Andrinn was looking over the language of Lonians and was realizing how beautiful of a language Teeves' native tongue truly was. The universal translator didn't do Teeves' people justice. However, it did look as those it had some interesting rules that the speaker would have to follow in order for it to make sense. Andrinn wanted to ask Teeves about it later because he wanted to learn a little bit of Lonian.

However, as Andrinn started looking over more parts of the database for the Lonians, the rest of the database appeared to have been updated quite nicely. Andrinn was quite proud of the various people that worked on the ship because while it must've been mundane, updating the databases was quite important. Andrinn knew that once the Elysium was to get back to Federation space, the database and the various reports would be uploaded to the main computer for the Federation.

Andrinn did a few a few more changes within the database for the Lonians before closing it all out and finishing it up for the moment. He left the database opened up for the cultural side, so that once the away team came back, Andrinn could make the notes for what they've learned about the enslavers.

Unitl then, Andrinn was just hoping that everyone was okay and safe. He got up and ordered a hot chocolate before going back to the window to take a look out of it, waiting for the away team.
