J'Air giggled but made no attempt to stop Chuck's kisses. She stepped backwards towards the bed, one foot at a time, until she felt her knees hit the side of the mattress. She allowed herself to fold onto it, taking Chuck with her and the two of them became wrapped in one another, each removing the other's clothing whilst they continued to kiss passionately.

Some considerable time later, after more passionate and intimate lessons about each other's bodies, preferences and pure joy, J'Air renewed her invitation to Chuck to join her in the Sonic Shower. Naturally, this only involved them in more laughter, mischief and lust that caused there to be more need for another shower!

Exhausted at last, and starving hungry, their thoughts progressed to the abandoned dinner and reluctantly J'Air suggested they might leave the bedroom and go back in search of whatever food could be rescued.

Sighing softly, Chuck reluctantly released his hold on the angel that held his heart and soul in her hands. "I suppose we should eat something. If only to regain our strength, before devouring one another again." He gave her a hungry grin as he finished speaking.

Going back into the kitchenette they found the meal looking pretty sorry for itself. J'Air sighed but not with any regrets. "You were worth it" she smirked at Chuck.

"Replicator rations?" she asked him, not really caring what they would eat, as long as they would eat it together and not have to leave one another's closeness to do so. Still wrapped in a sizeable towel, J'Air rescued what she could of the most forgiving of the food from earlier and added to it with some freshly replicated goodies to perk it up a bit.

Returning to Chuck on the sofa, they didn't bother to sit back up in any formality, just ate wound together and perching plates, eating with fingers, laughing and joking, sharing their food and after a while, J'Air saw the funny side of this and began to take on a look of impending mischief.

As they sat there, enjoying each other and the food, Chuck had to admit to himself, that he couldn't remember ever being happier than he felt in that moment. This beautiful, highly intelligent woman had done more than just made him feel happiness, she had become one of the most important things in his life. Looking into her eyes, he could see her playful side starting to come back to the surface. He enjoyed the play they shared, however, at that moment, he was feeling more quietly attracted to her. His face was soft and full of clear love for this woman.

Reaching up, he gently moved a few stray hairs that had fallen across her face, tucking them behind her ear. "You are truly amazing, Darlin'. I love you so very much."

Suddenly distracted from her mischief and moved by Chuck's tenderness, J'Air took in a deep breath and looked back into his deep, soulfull eyes. Taken aback she felt tears forming behind her own eyes as she gazed back at him, taking in his handsome face, the curve of his lips but avoiding looking at his fantastic body for concern that might spoil the seriousness of this unexpected but beautiful moment.

She nestled her face into his fingertips as they descended from retrieving her stray locks, softly pushing her cheek into the palm of his hand, receiving the reward of the gentle caress of his fingers as they rested against the soft skin of her face.

Two rebellious little tears dropped from her eyes which gleamed with moisture that reflected the light, and they traced raggedly down her face, one landing in his hand on one cheek, the other tracing all the way to her neck on the other side, causing a reflexive shiver as it crossed her chin and slipped onto her collar bone, unrestricted as her towel was a long way below, modestly covering her breasts down to her thighs, wrapped around her after the two had left the shower.

"I love you too Chuck" she whispered. Not because she wanted to keep it quiet but because her throat had closed up with emotion when he had spoken of his love. "I find it hard not to believe I'm dreaming when I'm with you. I've never been so happy. Nor so loved as I am with you. I never thought it would be possible to find anyone so wonderful, let alone that he might like me too and better still, even love me...." her tears began to flow now as she curled up and wriggled into his lap, winding her arms around him, pushing their food plate up onto the side as she did so. "I'm the luckiest woman ever born" she sobbed and held him to her tightly.

Chuck wrapped his arms around J'Air and held her against his scarred chest. "We're both lucky, Darlin'," he said softly. "I never thought I'd find someone like you. I am truly honored that you want to spend the rest of your life with me." He gently kissed the top of her head as she snuggled against him.

"That's so true" she sniffed reaching for a tissue and wiping her tears. "These are tears of joy" she reassured him, suddenly realising that she might be making him think she was sad, here in his arms, the most treasured place in the universe and the only one she could ever want to be for the rest of her days.

"You don't need to be honoured" she added. "You're the best thing that ever happened to me so it's a natural and 'a given' that I'd need to be wherever you are, forever!" she smiled up at him, her joy-filled face beaming, the tracks of her tears of joy still on her cheeks as she pulled herself as close as she could get, to his warm and sexy body. "I can't convince myself I'm not dreaming when I'm with you. I feel like I'd like to be a symbiont and merge inside you so I can be even closer to you." She laughed and blushed.

"Actually that sounded a lot more romantic when I thought it inside my head...... "it seems a bit creepy now it's out in hard words..... "

A bit embarrassed with the enthusiasm of her own passion, revealed in an open way that wasn't something she was accustomed to expressing out loud, J'Air traced his chest softly, caressing the scars gently and then kissing the worst of them, with the lightest touch of her lips as if she might have been hoping to heal all the hurt he had ever suffered, with her loving touch.

It was all too perfect to be real. How could it be? She found it amazing and all encompassing happiness and love, but some sceptical hurt from deep within her past tried to surface and tell her it simply HAD to go wrong or be a mistake or illusion that would be sure to break her heart in due course.

The doctor was SO confused inside her own heart, just at the one time she was the most happy she had ever been in her whole life. She tried to shake it off, hugging Chuck closer and trembling slightly as she fought off the dread that he was only a temporary bliss in her story.

Then, a sensible thought stood itself up in her heart and mind.
'IF..... IFFFFFFF.... the GORGEOUS Chuck, was due to be a temporary episode of joy and love who might be gone in the future, then why not love and enjoy all the moments of their perfect relationship for all of the time they had?

"Yes" J'Air settled visibly and slipped her fingers into Chuck's hair, softly starting a gentle kiss that built up into one that showed him her passion rising again. She was going to make this the best thing they BOTH had ever had and make the most of the best for as long as it was destined to last.

Her body rose to the idea, agreeing with her and she kissed the handsome love of her life with a fire that left them both with no doubt of her devotion to making this work, and work, and last, and last! - just due to pure dedication. "You are wonderful" she breathed, when they came up for air shortly afterwards.

Chuck was breathless from the powerful kiss that he and J'Air had just shared. He knew then that he was right in his planning for the future. Looking deep into her mesmerizing eyes, he spoke softly. "J'Airesh Mora-Heath, while I don't know what tomorrow will bring us, I do know one simple fact, I want to spend the rest of my days at your side." He paused a couple beats, then asked the powerful question, "Will you marry me?'

"Awww..." J'Air melted against him, landing another deep and passionate kiss. "I said yes the first time you asked me..... you remember? on the beach?" she smiled softly, tracing his jawline with her fingertip. "Is this a trick to see if I'm going to change my mind? Or are you hoping for...." she didn't get the teasing finished and out before he had kissed her again and she was helplessly overcome with the effect he had on her. It was beginning to seem that she was a lost case and might end up permanently soft and soppy whenever she was with him. "I think we might end up surgically attached" she joked with a mock serious face, the next time they both had enough air to speak again.

Chuck grinned, a chuckle vibrated deep in his chest. "Oh yeah," his smile grew brighter. "In all the excitement, I forgot I asked you already." He pulled her to him and kissed her deeply. When they finally came back up for air, ge placed his forehead gently against hers. "Guess we have done planning to do, sweetheart."

J'Air looked up at him, excitement showing in her face. "Do you think you'd like to start all that now? I mean, I don't want to rush you..... but.... if you're ready.... ?" she couldn't help but hop up and kiss his nose with delight at the idea of making plans.

He nodded as his continued to grin. "I would. The sooner we iron out the details, the sooner we can start to build our future together."
