She stood watching that damn planet fading into the distance, oO Why the hell did we go there? Oo she thought to her self. Lia hadn't talked to Gary since returning to the ship, but something was bugging him that much showed on his face. She busied herself cleaning up her cabin, as she opened her wardrobe she spotted her Kimono. Reaching out she felt its silky smoothness, memories of happier times flooded back and she smiled. Slowly she undressed and walked towards the sonic shower, "Engage sonic shower, five minuets duration".
When finished she stood looking at her body, naked and alone she could see where she had gained weight. "Not good, not good at all", she said to herself. She picked up her underwear and put it on, then she took out her juban. A white under garment and tied it securely, taking the Kimono she centered it and closed it right over left. Adjusting the length she then tied the Koshi himo belt around her, then made sure the underslip collar showed correctly. Now it was time for the datejime belt, once on she again adjusted the Kimono so it was correct. Next and finally the Obi was put on, after securing it she slid it round to her back. Then she remembered her white tabi socks, oO Bugger it, should have put these on earlier Oo she scolded. Struggling she put them on, now she slipped on her geta and walked over to the mirror.
Nodding Lia headed for the door, "Computer, play Holmes beta one (Japanese Tea House). In holodeck one". As she left her cabin she heard, =^="Holmes beta one now playing in holodeck one"=^=. She walked towards the turbolift and headed for the holodeck. As she arrived outside she had a thought, =^="Holmes to Taylor, if you want to see a Japanese tea house in action. Make your way to holodeck one, I'll be there for the next hour"=^=. Hopefully he would take up the invitation, if not?

A wonderful post! The writer captures the depth of the character and conveys it the readers. You feel the character's every emotion as if you were there. Well done!
