Kara stood outside of Captain Lalors' personal Quarters. She was so glad that everyone was back safe. After seeing what she saw at the prison facility...She got it into her head that perhaps the Captain needed a friend and not just her CEO. She had planned to go and see Gary too, although so far he had eluded her.

She rang the chime, and bit her lip, she was nervous. She hadn't spent much time with the Captain, afterall she was the Captain. There was certain boundaries and rules. ~Screw it. I know She would do the same for me, or for anyone else onboard.~

The door opened and the captain stood in the doorway, a puzzled look on her face. Dressed in casual clothes of a tunic top in pale blue and a pair of black leggings, the captain was barefoot. "Lieutenant?" She said. "Something wrong?"

"Apologies for disturbing you, Captain. I realise this is your own personal time, of which you get very little. Would you like a little company perhaps? I had hoped to see if you are well after...well you know." Kara smiled. "Truth is, Gallia is busy as usual. I have a day off, Tayalas is on a playdate and let's face it, almost the entire ship is empty. To be honest, I need a little human interaction. I think the main computer actually began to judge me for speaking to it too much." She laughed, relaxing her tensed shoulders, feeling more at ease.

Phoenix stepped back. "Come in Kara." She said softly. "Its fine."

Kara nodded and entered. "If you are sure. In Scotland, you'd be well within your rights to tell me tae Piss off y'know. So, How are you Phoenix. I mean REALLY, how you are." Kara asked, looking around, genuine concern in her tone. Phoenix wasn't just a superior officer to Kara, she was also a true friend.

"Am getting there" Phoenix waved her to the lounge area. "Please have a seat. Can I get you tea? Coffee?"

"Try Hoffman Zeta Five. You'll love this tea blend. Aromatic Andorian Spice Tea, I changed the recipe a little bit." Kara smiled, nodding.

Phoenix ordered the one she was informed of and brought the two cups to the lounge area. She handed one cup to Kara and sat opposite her.

The two fell into conversation as they discussed the past few weeks and the future on the ship.
