The wedding was over. Heather and Fernando were now husband and wife. Starting a new life together but first there was a slight matter of their honeymoon. The Elysium was docked and would be for the next few weeks giving them time to leave the ship for a brief period and then return in plenty of time before it was ready to depart the spacedock.

Standing in their quarters Fernando looked at the numerous suitcases. "Heather we're going on our honeymoon for a week not moving away." He gently protested.

Heather opened her mouth to protest before taking a deep breath and nodding. "I'm sorry! I guess I'm just over compensating. I'll narrow it down." She quickly grabbed the cases and disappeared into the bedroom reappearing a few minutes later with just one large case. "Is this better?"

Fernando chuckled, "Much better and don't apologize Heather. One suitcase I can handle before I would need to be an octopus to carry them all." He chuckled softly.

"That's true" Heather grinned. "So you still haven't told me where you're taking me for our honeymoon."

Fernando blinked and just looked at her for a moment then his face a perfect mask. "Oh. Just over to the spacedock. You know don't want to be too far from the ship in case we get recalled back unexpectedly." He teased and then waited for Heather's reaction.

"Oh you fibber you!" Heather grinned as she walked over to her husband and wrapped her arms around him. "I'll let you off, just this once." She gave him a romantic kiss. "I can't wait to get you all to myself."

Fernando grinned and returned the kiss with equal passion. "A fibber me?" He questioned. "Well, yeah i guess so in this case. We're going to Wrigley's Pleasure Planet. Have quarters at the Wrigley Waldorf and I can't wait until we're alone either."

"Are you serious! The Wrigley Waldorf!!" Heather looked at her husband astounded. "How did you manage that? Wrigley's is extremely popular!"

Fernando smiled at Heather, "Yes, I'm serious. You deserve nothing but the best Heather and as how did I manage it. I have my ways." He finished with a sly grin.

“Oh I’m sure you do!” Heather grinned at Fernando. “We’d best get going or we’re never going to get out of this room!” She grinned a wry grin.

"An excellent idea and one I totally agree with." Fernando replied as he took Heather's hand in one of his own and with the other he grabbed the suitcase. "Next stop Wrigley's Pleasure Planet."

“I can barely wait!” Heather grinned as she held onto Fernando’s hand.

"Then lets us begin this honeymoon!" Fernando exclaimed with a smile as they left their quarters to catch a shuttle to Wrigley's Pleasure Planet.

Wrigley’s Pleasure Planet, The Wrigley Waldorf hotel

Stepping into the hotel Heather marvelled as she looked at the sheer luxury of the Wrigley Waldorf. It definitely lived up to its reputation. She looked at Fernando as they were quickly greeted.

“Greetings Mr and Mrs De La Rosa! Welcome to the Waldorf. If you’ll follow me I’ll take you to the honeymoon suite.”

Fernando grinned broadly as he held Heather's hand and they followed the bellhop to the honeymoon suite.

As the door to the honeymoon suite was opened for them Heather looked at Fernando with an open mouth. “Oh my...” She grinned from ear to ear. “This is...amazing!!”

Fernando stared at the grandeur of the room. The opulence was amazing! You could have five of their quarters in the room they were standing in. "Oh my!" He said in disbelief.

The bell hop smiled as he politely dropped their luggage in down and left them to enjoy their room. Heather couldn’t resist but go look at the bedroom, her eyes lit up at the sight of a four poster bed fully adorned with curtains. The whole suite was pure luxury. “Fernando, how on Earth did you manage this?!”

Fernando was busy looking over the main room. There was a bar complete with different liquors waiting for them to sample, A balcony that gave them a wonderful view of the city. There was a hot tub for them to enjoy....together. Also the hotel knowing they were newlyweds had placed a small refrigerator in their suite and it was complete with every type of food they could possibly want. They also had credit vouchers to use at any replicator. So intent was he he missed Heather's question. "Hmm? What did you say Heather?"

She walked to the bedroom doorway. “I said how on Earth did you manage this?” She grinned. “This is...absolutely astounding!!”

"Oh, I um have been saving my pay for quite a long time Heather." He answered as he walked about the suite, taking all of it's splendor in.

Heather nodded as she walked over to her husband. “Well all I can say is thank you. You’ve made me feel like a fairy tale princess!”

"If that is so, it is because you make me feel like a prince Heather." Fernando replied with a grin.

Heather giggled. “Wait until you see this...” She took his hand and pulled him to the bedroom doorway. “Would you look at that! An actual four poster bed!!”

Fernando's mouth hung open at the sight of the bed. "I've read of these but have never seen one before. It's gigantic!"

“I know! Just look at the curtains!!” She grinned. “Wait...I haven’t checked the en-suite.” She looked towards an open door to their right. Walking over to it she pushed it open. “Oh wow!! What a huge bath!! We could both fit in this!!!”

Fernando peered over her shoulder, "Wow! Is right. You know that isn't a bad idea Heather." He said with a wink.

Heather grinned. “I was hoping you’d say that!” She wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a romantic kiss. “I know I’ve already said this but Thank you for all of this, you’ve made me feel truly special Imzadi.”

"You are my wife Heather and you are special." Fernando replied as he put his hands on her slender waist and gave her a romantic kiss in return. "In addition it is my sworn obligation in the Husband's handbook to make you feel special every day.” He teased.

“You’ve been reading a husband’s handbook? Or are you making up one of your own?” Heather grinned.

"One of my own of course." Fernando grinned."It's the only way to go."

“If you say so!” Heather grinned. “I’ve brought along a nice empty writing book, I’m going to keep a diary of married life. I like to write.”

Fernando held his hand to his forehead in mock dismay, "Oh no! I may be in for it now!" He said with a laugh.

Heather giggled. “Oh you are trust me!” She took his hand and lead him to the bed. “How’s about we put this gorgeous bed to some use?”

"Oh nooooooooo!" Fernando carried on even as Heather took his hand and led him to the bed. "A wonderful idea Heather, do you wish to give the bed a workout now or would you rather do some exploring and sight seeing first?"

“Hmm How’s about we enjoy a few minutes cuddle time and then we’ll go exploring and sightseeing?” Heather smiled. “I’m enjoying being cuddled up with you.”

"Your wish is my command." Fernando answered as he pulled Heather to him and they fell back onto the bed together, thoroughly enjoying each other's company.

“Fernando, don’t take this the wrong way...I’m not planning anything now, unless you want to if course!” Heather paused. “I was just wondering if you want to have children at some point? Like I said not now. I’m happy with it being just us for the time being.”

Fernando kissed her hand, "I could never take anything you do the wrong way Heather." He answered and then continued, "Yes, I would like children but like you not now. We need this time for us. For when we have children it will be gone."

Heather nodded. “There’s no rush Imzadi, I’m enjoying life on a day to day basis. Having been a slave I treasure each day of freedom as it comes.”

"Put those dark days behind you Heather, from now on only bright skies and sunny days lie ahead and I will do whatever I can to ensure you treasure all the days yet to come." Fernando replied earnestly as he kissed his wife.

“I will ensure that you treasure your days too Imzadi. I want nothing more than to make you happy.” Heather smiled as she cuddled up with her head on Fernando’s shoulder.

Fernando chuckled softly and kissed Heather's neck. "With both of us doing the best to make the other happy, how can we go wrong? Our marriage is going to be the envy of everyone."

“I certainly hope so!” Heather grinned as she returned Fernando’s kiss. “How’s about we go do that exploring then I can have you all to myself afterwards.”

"Why Mrs. De La Rosa I think that is an outstanding idea. One I can fully support." Fernando chuckled as he sat up, "The city awaits us. Lets see what we can find."
