Heather and Fernando left the honeymoon suite at the Wrigley Waldorf and were about to explore the city.
Anywhere you want to see first Heather?" Fernando asked his wife as they held hands in the lobby, contemplating their next step.

"I have absolutely no idea!" Heather grinned. "How's about you lead and I'll follow."

"No, no." Fernando shook his head, "We're a team we do this together. How about we sight see the city and then come back to the hotel and hit the casino and plays a few slots and such?"

"Agreed" Heather nodded. "I'll warn you though, I've never played in a casino before. I have no clue how the games are played!"

Fernando laughed, "Do not worry Heather, when it comes time to play, I will help you though I don't know if that is good or bad." Fernando said with another laugh.

"Oh you play with me just fine!" She grinned a wry grin. "I'm sure you can teach me plenty more."

Fernando blushed scarlet, "Um, I'm glad you think so Heather. I will certainly to my best but I can already tell you are a quick learner."

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to embarrass you Imzadi." Heather held her husband's hand as they walked.

Fernando squeezed her hand. "It is quite alright Heather. I do not mind." as they walked the city streets, admiring the sights they saw.

“This is amazing!” Heather grinned. “It’s all like a dream come true!!”

"I agree my Betazoid rose. It is quite amazing. Are you glad to be here?" Fernando asked. Heather's happiness was paramount on his mind.

“Of course I am! I’ve always wanted to visit here and being here on my honeymoon just makes it all the better!!”

"That pleases me a great deal Heather." Fernando answered with a smile as they came upon a small antique shop. "Wanna take a look?" he asked her.

“Do ducks like water?” Heather jokingly asked back. “Let’s go and see what treasures we can find.”

Fernando laughed as her joke, squeezed her hand and said, "Then what are we waiting for? Lets go."

Heather giggled as they walked into the antiques shop, she loved looking at old things be it furniture or trinkets. Her eyes automatically fell on an antique wooden rocking crib. “Fernando...I know we’re not planning children yet but this is adorable!” She took one look at the price tag and sighed. “Out of our price range by a long shot unfortunately.”

"Fernando saw the price tag and nodded sadly. "I'm sorry my love maybe one day." He promised feeling terrible that he couldn't give Heather a gift she wanted.

“Hey it’s not your fault” She smiled. “Let’s carry on looking around and see what we can find.” She took a look back before they carried on.

"I know but I still feel bad Heather." Fernando answered as they looked around the shop for something else.

“What about this?” Heather pointed to an old rocking chair. “Perhaps we’ll have better luck?”

Fernando's eyes lit up at the sight of the rocking chair. "I like that!" He exclaimed as he crossed his fingers and looked at the price tag. A smile came to his face as he saw it. "Bingo Heather!"

“Then let’s buy it!” She grinned. “I’d love rocking chair and you like it too so it’s perfect!”

"Consider it done my love!" Fernando answered as he picked up the chair and looked for someone to pay.

While Fernando was busy Heather returned to the cot, there was just something about its design that she liked. Not that it was something they could afford.

Fernando came back a short while later. "We are the proud owners of a rocking chair Heather."

“Wonderful” Heather smiled. “Shall we go and see what other places there to look around?”

"Absolutely my darling. Let us go and see all we can see." Fernando replied happily.

Heather nodded but in the back of her mind was a nagging want for the cot. She knew they couldn’t afford it yet it bothered her all the same. “How’s about you show me that casino? We can finish looking around later or tomorrow.”

"Sure thing Heather." Fernando agreed as they left the shop to return to the hotel and it's casino. "You're thinking about that cot aren't you?"

“Am I that transparent?” Heather looked at Fernando. “I’m sorry it’s just...beautiful. It doesn’t mean I’d rush you into having a baby though!”

"You aren't transparent at all Heather. I want the cot as well." Fernando said with a smile.

Heather nodded. “Then let’s go try our luck in the casino. See if we can win enough. Maybe we’ll get lucky! But we’re not spending a fortune trying to win. Just a small amount that we can spare.”

"Come on, I feel lucky." Fernando said as they entered the hotel lobby and headed for the casino.

“I certainly hope so!” Heather grinned. “How’s about you play and I’ll be the girl who hangs off your arm and makes you look good?”

"Are you sure Heather? And you always make me look good." Fernando said honestly.

“I don’t know how to play! What if I lose?” She looked concernedly at Fernando. “I don’t want to end up losing us money!”

Fernando chuckled, "Heather, most people lose most of the time. We won't spend a lot. If we win great. Lets just have a good time. Tell you what, we'll play together as far as making decisions, okay?"

“Agreed” Heather grinned. “Let’s go and have some fun!”

"Oh, we'll have fun." Fernando answered, "Lets win some money!"

~ Sometime later ~

Heather stood alongside Fernando, they’d crept up quite a win on the table they were at and a crowd had gathered for the final roll of dice. The dice rested in Heather’s hands as she looked at Fernando. “Are you sure you want me to do this?!”

Fernando smiled at her. He leaned forward and kissed the dice then kissed Heather's hand. "I got us here darling. You bring us home."

Heather nodded and moments later rolled the dice, she watched nervously hoping her throw wouldn’t ruin the day by losing what Fernando had got them so far. Her eyes widened with surprise as a huge cheer shot up from around them. “What?! Did we win!”

Fernando's eyes were focused on the dice as they left Heather's hand then everything else was a blur. The roaring of the crowd that had gathered. Fernando looked at the dice, then back at Heather when she asked did they win. He grabbed her, began kissing her wildly even as he jumped up and down. "Did we win? Heather ! We won 500 million credits!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Heather looked at Fernando in complete astonishment. “We...we...” It was all too much as the room spun and she fainted into Fernando’s open arms.

"HEATHER!!!!!!!!" Fernando screamed as he caught her and laid her gently on the casino floor. "Give her room!" He barked as he knelt over her. "Heather? Heather?" He asked urgently as he tapped her cheeks. "Come on Heather." He pleaded.

Heather stirred and found herself looking up at Fernando. “Hey...what happened?” She looked around then suddenly sat up. “Did we win? Really win??”

Fernando smiled down at her, "My precious angel, We really did win. We're rich!" He gushed.
