Science Department has a new Chief and this collaborative post starts adding in more players to round out a fun and interesting JP concerning some sorta alien something. Nice to see everyone working together and special mention to poor Myne Redal for creating the conditions to start involving more players. And special mention to each of the players as they were added contributing to the same goal in that JP. This JP is just like the blind man at an orgy - everyone had to feel their way around. Nicely done and thank you.

	Story Time Awarded Wed Sep 2nd, 2026 @ 8:31am Nominated by Commander Rin	For No Diplomatic Faffs: Instructions Unclear I'm not sure what the original plan for this post was, but I'm pretty sure this wasn't it. ;) Sometimes posts develop a mind of their own (with the cooperation of their writers). The utter chaos of the transporter room managed to be both dramatic and comedic as emotions ran high. Despite some unlikely choices, all of the actions taken still felt genuine for the characters. And those events significantly affected later posts without running them off the rails. This was a highly entertaining post all around. Orin's final comment of "What the frack just happened?" was a suitable summary.

	Outstanding Personal Character Arc Awarded Mon Apr 1st, 2024 @ 10:26am Nominated by Captain Samuel Woolheater	I nominate Andrinn Orin for the Outstanding Personal Character Award. Specifically for the recent post, "Goodbye Father - Part 2". I don't know why, in particular, but this recent post gave me pause. I think it is because of the way one can tell that Andrinn is dreading this reunion. The way that he says very little. The long takes and the non-verbal indications that he does not want to be there. But came anyway. The way he enters the room, closes the door and then turns around. Delaying the visual as long as possible. I don't know much about the relationship between them. But I can sense the anxiety, the dread and the pain that is to come. And I rather think Andrinn wishes he were anywhere else. And at the same time, at the contrary, wouldn't be anywhere else but here. For a person who is El-Aurian and a joined Trill, this kind of goodbye has to be challenging. Carrying all those old memories. All the loves, births, deaths and carrying it all around with oneself must be a heavy weight. And in this post, I get a sense of just how heavy it really is.

	Rising Star Awarded Wed Sep 2nd, 2026 @ 8:32am Nominated by Civilian Teevs Dosivi	I'm either blind or I don't think we have an award for excellence in Diplomacy! I wanted to recognise the chaos thrown at Orin and how well I think the character handled it. Opening negotiations, organising a diplomatic lunch, staying level-headed in the face of Lady Sama's manipulation, and now navigating the legal stuff with Serenity to try and get our people back peacefully. I think it's a great demonstration of just what our fellow diplomats handle. Well done! Oh, and... sorry, not sorry for stealing your protection officer! xD
