This writer jumps in and helps out where and when he can, he never fails to complete a JP with humour and humility. What else can one say about his CMO, except what a character.

Nomination for the JP "To Stop Nightmares". Science Department has a new Chief and this collaborative post starts adding in more players to round out a fun and interesting JP concerning some sorta alien something. Nice to see everyone working together and special mention to poor Myne Redal for creating the conditions to start involving more players. And special mention to each of the players as they were added contributing to the same goal in that JP. This JP is just like the blind man at an orgy - everyone had to feel their way around. For her spot-on reactions as a grieving mother in the JP Remembrance over the loss of a child. This talented writer again shows off her writing talents by showing the love she will always have for daughter. Along with her helping Gary meet and 'talk' to Angel. Simply wonderful writing.

For his help in making the JP "Where do we go from here?" such a joy to write. Many many times both Jeff and I get together and just write, the JP can sometimes flow so easily I wonder where it comes from. It comes from Jeff and his way of allowing me to help tell the story. I hope this small reward is thanks enough for all his help.

Lieutenant JG Miraj Derani
Mon Oct 30th, 2023 @ 4:40am
Nominated for Miraj Derani's portrayal of a person who is suffering for the thing she loves to do; Fly. In the post, "Mahpiohanzia" the character is seeking mental wholeness and health and not getting much. That's difficult to do. I think its worthy of mention and how restrained the character is. Well done.

Lieutenant Commander Rin
Mon Dec 12th, 2022 @ 2:17am
For the Collaborative Post Excellence Award, I nominate both Lieutenant Rin and Lieutenant T'Kek. In particular, I like that this post sets us off balance using Rin's perspective of a nightmare. And from T'Kek's POV, the ship is crumbling all around them. I think - and very cleverly so - the writers are using the actual crumbling and destruction of the ship as a, I think, a metaphor for their own world collapsing. Especially with Rin but I think also with T'kek. And it is very moving.

For her skillful and imaginative writing in the JP 'One of these things is not like the other' Parts 1 thru 4. Her creativity is on full view as she and Gary wind their way through a holodeck program in search of Super Garrett. Her writing is equal parts refreshing, funny and serious. For the post "Best Left Buried" https://usselysium.com/index.php/sim/viewpost/2907

In which Cassie wrote a powerful and absolutely pitch perfect speech on the pain
of false hope and when to let go of unrealistic dreams.

It's quite possibly my favourite piece I've seen in my 2.5 years here, and definitely one of the best bits of writing on the sim

Nominated for reaching out and asking for help and asking for joint post opportunities. Asking for help and saying, "I want to do more and am stuck" is not easy to do. And it might feel embarrassing or weak. But its not. Everybody from time to time can get writer's block. Or get stuck and not know which way to go. Everybody has felt like they are on the "outside" from time to time. Not everybody is strong and confident enough to change that and ask for a rope, a line for assistance. That can be scary and feel awkward. And I am glad that this writer broke that idea. By asking for help; other people can ask for help. Other writers are encouraged and know that its not bad, or awkward to let people know you want more JP opportunities. I think that deserves a nomination and recognition.

For her duel roles as Mother Gallia and Daughter Tayalas in "Afternoon with a Blueberry." The only way this could've been any cuter would've been if there had been some way to see Baby Tayalas in her ducky hat!

Somehow our hard working XO has become something of an unsung hero here and it's time to fix that. Nobody works harder or plays more roles for more people than Jeff! Please give him this award as it's only a small portion of the respect he deserves for his efforts here. - Anje Brett

For "Swim with the Duckies." The continuing story of the growing father/daughter relationship between our XO and our own Baby Yoda just gets cuter and sweeter with every word these two master artists write. We're blessed beyond comprehension to have them here. <3

For "Swim with the Duckies," a lovely post that would not have been possible without Gabby's soulful writing of the Elysium's fave mother/daughter duo. They make something as mundane and every day as a swimming lesson into a beautiful study on the nature of love and family. So thrilled to have both of the writers of this post here as members of the Elysium family.

This girl can make gold from straw, she takes others on a journey every time she writes with them. She works hard, but still takes the time to include other people in the story. She needs to know she is appreciated, and please keep up the good work.

Although this writer has her problems, her writing is always fluid and well thought out. She carefully considers her response to any given situation, and then replies with a thought out answer addressing the problem. With the few posts I have done with this writer, I am quite surprised she hasn't shone more when writing within any given storyline. I think she has a wonderful style which is uniquely her own, and as such I would want her to know how really good her writing is. Thankyou for a Joint Post that even made me think, well done.

Here was another collaborator in the JP "And then there were four", and didn't she make her presence felt. Using her writing talents she weaved her character in and out of the fabric of this mission post, and at the end wrote a simple but telling action that brought home a lost friend. She really deserves this award.
