After they had visited Captain Lalor, Josie made sure they returned to the ship Arri's double owned.

"All in all" she said as they closed themselves inside Arri's bedroom, having made sure Arri's double was now locked in the guest room. "Its a nice ship. You could keep it on the Ely you know." Thanks to the knowledge Arri possessed, they knew this room was safe.

"My alternate was paranoid. She examined some of her alternate's personal possessions and read a book. "Blessed Tirielle. Alindar's history is different Josephine."

Josie nodded. "Stands to reason" She moved around the room.

"I want to keep this ship, Josephine." Arri noted. "My alternate turned this ship into a vessel of terror and greed. I will turn this vessel into one of honor and selflessness." She noted. Just like Tirielle was changed in the great deserts, her selfishness and corruption burned away by the suns, so shall this ship be as well."

Josie stepped up to her. "Well then that is what you will do." She said with a smile. "Can you do me a favor though?"

"Yes?" Arrianna noted.

"Call me Josie?" she asked. "I was Josephine for so long in 1664, I prefer my nickname"

"Forgive me.. I am so formal at times. Nicknames are sometimes hard for me to grasp." She noted. "Josie it is." She sat down. "I must thank you. I still have a lot of rage inside me. I owe you everything, Josie. My sanity, my life, my future. Everything."

"You don't owe me anything. You saved me first." Josie took her hands and knelt down so they were eye to eye. "Arri, look at me. Its going to be ok. We are going to beat these people, win, get everyone home. You are going to be okay, and they will never hurt anyone again." She gently squeezed Arri's hands. "I will help you get through this" she promised. "And if you need to rant and rage do it, I won't run."

Arri nodded and embraced her. "Oh Josie.... My dearest... My emotional control is growing stronger. However, I cannot leave this place without ending Commander Taylor's alternate. He has hurt my friend Phoenix. He has tortured my crew. He tried to enslave us, you." Arri shook her head. "Hate is not my people's way.. but this time... I will make sure he never comes back when we save our ship and crew." Arri noted. "I need this Josie. He tortured Phoenix to make us Surrender to save her. This stain on my honor. We should have died with our dignity intact."

"We live to fight another day, to punish those who did this to us" Josie whispered in her ear, holding her close. "And when you do, end that bastard, we will celebrate. Together"

Arrianna nodded. "Yes..."

"Yes together, wherever you wish to." Josie smiled at her.

"When the time comes, come with me." Arrianna noted. "I am going to end that miserable coward's life, but I assure you I won't become my alternate in the process. But I will still make him experience every moment of pain he's inflicted on this crew until he begs us to end him. I've never used my full telepathy until now Josie. My people can do horrifying things to a mind, just like Betazoids or Vulcans. I have something special for Captain Taylor."

Josie smiled and stroked Arri's hair gently. "What is it you have planned for him Arri?"

"In a single moment.. I am going to make him experience every moment of pain our crew has spent in his agony booths. Every session of torture... Everything he has done to Phoenix... Everything his crew has done to us. He will spend hours in that moment." Arrianna noted. "Then when he begs... I'll end him."

"You may have to share that last pleasure, for I feel others may wish to aide you in your ending of him. But I will be there, with you, when you do it. I promise."

"I'll have it no other way, Josie. But I can say this. If we allow him to escape, he will return with another ship and an even more despicable crew to try again. That is the way of cowardice, Josie." Arrianna smiled. "I will make a sword for you. I've given that honor to only one other person on the Elysium."

Josie smiled at her. "Thank you Arri, but i do not know how to wield swords."

"You will learn much from me." Arri noted as she embraced Josie. "Rest with me."

"Ok" Josie moved to the bed with Arri and they lay down. "You need to rest so you can pretend to be her again right?"

Arri smiled softly, her disciplined demeanor was returning. Even still, she thought she'd tease Josie. "Once again you forget your station? You speak to a Noblewoman of Alindar, filfth cur." Arri chuckled. "I have half the mind to have you flogged." She laughed. "What a hothead, Josie. And it proved to be her undoing."

"She liked to gloat I noticed," Josie grinned at her. "A lot. And she was all about having control."

"What you saw Josie, was an Ancient Alindari in every description. She was a warlord." Arri let that sink in, "And my people have stories of warlords so cruel and heartless, they murdered thousands daily... for fun. If we let her continue, she would have unleashed a bloodbath beyond our imagination for her own amusement."

Josie nodded and stroked Arri's cheek. "She won't do that now. Sleep Arri, sleep well"

"Goodnight, my Beloved." Arri closed her eyes.

"Sleep well Love" Josie whispered in her ear and curled beside her to sleep.
