Lara was at the Counselor's office, so it made for the best time for Victor to get to know Tonya and vice versa. Victor rings her chimes as he waited in the corridor. The door slid open as Commander Arianna Salannis an Vantar walked out.

"Good day to you Commander," Victor says pleasantly.

"Greetings, Commander." Arrianna walked next to Victor ane he heard what felt like a slight whisper. 'Patience... not too fast, Victor.'

Arri had spoken at length with Tonya since she meet her when she arrived for some tutoring lessons with Lara. She took the time to understand Tonya when she reassured her that she would not endanger Lara. They established an understanding quickly.

After she left, Victor says to Tonya, "Good afternoon. Are you up to a date?" Victor asks, "Lara will be at the Counselor's for a couple hours. "

"Victor..." Lara spoke for a moment and then smiled softly for a moment, she looked scared on the outside, but on the inside, she was scared for him. "Alright... My quarters?"

Victor smiled but kept the reason to himself. "That would be nice. So do you still like to tango like Argentine Tango or slow dance to instrumental?"

"Tango." Tonya said still swallowing the fear and apprehension she felt around him. Not because of him. But... An image in her mind of every fiancée she ever had dying. Afraid it would somehow happen to Victor. She let him enter her quarters.

Victor understood every apprehension Tonya was experiencing. "Tango is always nice. Would you like to drink some tea or coffee?"

"Tea please, It's too late for coffee." Tonya noted. Examining him.

"So your parents will here tomorrow," Victor says as he sat. "Have they said anything about me?"

"We're scared Victor. It takes time to get over every one of my fiancées dying suddenly." Tonya mentioned. "Damn you Bolt."

"Your friend Jessica North and my father went after a clue," Victor says comforting. "Hopefully it will end with his captured. Your parents never met me. I am sure they will like, just like they did in the other Reality."

Tonya wanted to shake her head. "Indeed." She only stated. She was getting irritated.

"Yes it will be great to meet little Victor," Victor says, "Your sister, your parents and I are going to have to decide where he is going to stay."

Tonya spoke. "Victor, please stop." She kept her calm tone. "I am not the Tonya you knew in the other universe, neither is my my parents and sister. We cannot be a continuation of that life and that universe.."

She put her finger to his lips as a way to tell him to hear her out. "But I love you and I especally love Lara. Love us. Here, now. This Universe This situation has been especially difficult for the both of us, it's a god-given miracle I have you in my life, and I want to be sure this is real, you aren't just going to vanish into nothingness anymore. "If the Tonya you knew was anything like me, what would she be saying now?" She barely raised her voice, but she did have that calm shaprness to her that commanded attention and respect. She was too intellgent to shout and allow her emotions to overwhelm her even though she was being overwhelmed by emotion."

Victor could sense the barriers go up. He knew this was not his beloved Tonya. "I love you here and now. That is why I was giving you space. This overwhelming on all of us but love can heal anything. There is a little boy coming here tomorrow. He might be very confused about this. When you are ready and sure about it, we will be more than friends."

Tonya nodded. "So do you want to know the Tonya King in front of you? Why?"

"Because I want to hold you like there was no tomorrow," Victor says, "I am treating you as you. If you were the other one, I will be hugging you. Something you should know, I am always a gentleman. Kindness is my strong point."

"I want to know you Victor. Everything. You fascinate me and you frighten me simultaneously. I want you to be happy, us to be happy, and whatever happens from this day forward, it will not be a lie. We go forward when we've made peace with the past. That must be done." Tonya mentioned. "I know you still hurt over the woman you lost. Maybe we can heal each other's wounds. Then... We'll embrace the future."

Victor sighed with relief. "We still have to take this slow. I want the happy ever after. Just like those who have identical twins. Each one is different in their own right. "

"Mmm... I may not be the same as the Tonya you knew. I'm glad you know this. I want you to know... me..."

Victor comes up to Tonya. "I am going to lightly kiss you on the lips. One can tell about the first kiss."

She smiled as she let him kiss her lightly. She then kissed him very passionately and deeply.

After the kiss was over with, Victor had to take a deep breath. The other never kissed liked that but then, Victor was the only one she ever had. This was very experienced. "That was the best ever."

Tonya stood and smiled. She was still in her uniform. That would change as she turned away from Victor and unzipped it slowly. Glancing at him.

Victor was aroused but he kept his clothes on. "Now what would you like to do?"

We're just going to cuddle right now. Feel my warmth. Should we do it here?

"Yes," Victor says placing his palm to her face. "Here is perfect."

She pushed him onto a couch. "Just hold me for now. I'll tell you when I want more. I may fall asleep in your arms."

"I like that part," Victor responds with content. He thought did she want to neck. The two of them sat down as they snuggled up together. Smelling her aroma, this one was new to him. "Nice perfume what prank is it."

"Arrianna introduced it to me. Alindari perfumes are subtle. It's lilac." Tonya noted.

He kissed the one spot on her neck with a peck."Just relax."

Tonya nodded. "You are comforting, I'd need this after a hard day in Engineering. I'm glad I transferred here. An Elysium Class Starship with a Quantum Singularity Drive. How I wanted to get my hands on one of those."

"Thank you," Victor says feeling the aroma. "I love the lilac. Are you up to speed on the Quantum Singluarity Drive? I need to go over the specifications. We can do it together. In my reality, Romulans made extensive improvements on it."

"You know me, I love technology like this. Kiss my neck please." Tonya noted.

He kisses her once again on that spot on the neck. "If you ever say stop, I will. There is a lot of responsibility of this ship since it has more than others have."

"You treat me like a queen." Tonya reached up and kissed him.

"I am glad you different Tonya," he kisses her again. "Mmmmm. Nice. I appreciate a Queen who would fight by side instead a damsel in distress. A Queen brings honor to her King. I should forewarn you. Us Barclay de Tollys are known for being clever. We look like at all possibilities and no matter how one might be unthinkable, we find it."

Tonya spoke. "Other possibilities huh?? What can you tell me about all those possibilities?"

"Some things I can share with about the other Reality but there are some things would be classified," Victor saids kissing her neck again.

"So that's what you've been doing all day long?" Tonya mentioned.

"Oh I have been working on inputting my logs from the other Reality," Victor says as runs his strong fingers through her hair. Victor held her for a good while where not a word was said.

"Oh I think I can figure out what you were doing in that reality eventually." Tonya mentioned. "I'll just keep on kissing you."

He smiled and kiss more back. If she only knew, the only one he was serous back in the last year was her sister's Reality twin.

A message came through from the Counselor's office that his daughter fell asleep and she would most probably be a sleep for a good while. "Well it seems we have more time."

"You know the clothes don't come off on the first date. That's like date three or four." Tonya noted.

"This is true," he says in agreement. "What do you normally do in your free time?"

"Combat Training." Tonya noted.

"That is a good idea," Victor says as he walked over to the replicator to replicate some Starfleet Fatigues. We can go there to lift weights and such. Plus I want to get to know you more."

"I've lost four men that I've loved more than anything. I will not lose another. I don't know if I could stand burying another piece of my heart. This time I will fight with you. I will die with you, and I will not be broken again." Tonya mentioned holding back tears.

Victor saw how vulnerable she had become. He hugged her tight. "Till the end."
