Arrianna grinned as she lead Josephine to her quarters. She didn't get a chance to show Josie around her sanctuary away from everything. She entered spoke. "Welcome home, Love."

The quarters were elegantly decorated. Senior Officer Quarters, even on the Elysium, it was the size of a large apartment. Arrianna even had her unique tastes and decor. Wood bookcases lined the apartment as well as art from the planets she had visited. In one place, a Betazoid sculptures, Bajoran Art Pieces, Even a small Vulcan gong used for meditations.

"You have a very eclectic taste" Josie said as they entered. She smiled. "Suits you."

"Wait until you see my wardrobe." Arrianna noted. "Which reminds me, I need to swap out my fall wardrobe for my winter." She said with a grin. "Though some people believe I have way too much clothes."

"Do you feel that you have too many clothes?"

Arri chuckled. "I actually have a way for clearing space for my latest acquisitions. I just gift last season's clothes to the crew during this human holiday called 'Christmas.' Our Captain likes parties. So every year, every female crewmember gets their pick from my wardrobe, and I make room for next years collection."

"Ah is that why I heard the Captain and her sister was arguing over wardrobe space? Seems the young girl was using a room to store clothing and the captain was not impressed" Josie grinned at Arri.

"Ah yes... Mirian." Arrianna noted. "This year it will be different, love. First you get your choice of my wardrobe. Followed by Phoenix, Mirian, Aurelia, ALicia, Heather, and others." The Alindari grinned. "Besides. I need more space for more silk."

Josie grinned and wriggled her eyebrows at Arri. "You seem to have a thing for Silk these day love."

Arrianna shook her head. "It's one of the Viceroy's selfish vices." Arri noted. "Also, this happens now at random." She suddenly kissed Josie.

Kissing Arri back, Josie smiled. "You are good at that my love"

"I feel more of the Viceroy slipping into my thoughts at random moments and driving me to be.... what is the word I'm searching for. 'A bad girl.'" Arrianna noted. "I spent all my life learning how to master my emotions, now they've mastered me, and I'm doing this." She kissed her again.

Josie gently kissed her back and then rested her hand on Arri's cheek. "You are not a bad girl Arri Love. And I don't think its her, I think it is just you being you,."

Arrianna smiled and kissed her. Pushing her towards her bed, Josie found herself pushed onto it with Arrianna landing on her. "Oops, I didn't see this bed here."

Josie laughed and wriggled beneath her. "It is a comfortable bed indeed Commander" she grinned at her love. "And the company in it is wonderful."

Arri kissed her. "Feel the sheets." The Alindari's hands moved towards Josie's zipper and began unzipping.

"ah so this was just a ploy to get me into your bed?" Josie grinned and mock pouted with playful eyes. "I can acquiesce to that." she began to return the favour with Arri's own clothing.

"Notice the Sheets?" Arrianna let Josie notice the silk sheets. "Isn't this better than being in Earth's Seventeenth Century." She undressed her. "Those dreadful clothes." She began kissing her rapidly.

"I dunno, you look great in a corset" Josie smiled and pulled the last of Arri's clothes off her. "But then, i prefer you naked anyway." she shifted so they lay side by side on the bed, facing each other. "Arri," she said as they kissed. "I love you." she whispered and then set about driving Arri wild. "I love both sides of you. The calm and the wicked."

Arrianna suddenly yielded to her desires and began to ravish Josie. Unleashing herself in a frenzy of desire. "Okay, If you want me to be wicked... I'll be wicked." She began to lick her breasts as she reached down to give Josie the ultimate in pleasuring.

Josie let Arri have her way with her body, it made her pulse with emotions and she let her own hands and lips return the favour.

Arrianna looked out the window at the starfield in the darkened lounge, Her rest was interrupted by a stream of bad dreams from the crew. She was also sipping a glass of diluted wine. Watered down to the point that it would not intoxicate Arrianna. The Viceroy oftend imbibed herself, however Arri was not going to do that to Josephine.

Josie came up behind her and slid her arms around her lovers waist. "Hmmm Love, why are you up so late?" she asked softly as she rested her head against Arri's back.

"I can't sleep, and I've felt more of the crew having.. terrible dreams." Arri mentioned. Some of them suffer Josie... And.... I will never be free of the reality that I urged Commander Taylor to stand down, knowing what was going to happen." Arri sipped more. "At least in battle, we would have died with our heads held high, but now we have to live with my moment of unparalleled weakness."

"You know how many lives you saved with that call? Thousands. And you got the captain back and the Command team got the ship back." She kissed Arri's cheek. "Maybe you should see Alicia?"

"I've been to counselors many times, Josie." Arrianna mentioned. "I'm afraid some of these demons we have to face. Some regrets must be addressed. You were stronger spending so much time in the past. I was stronger when you saved me from her." Arri mentioned as she gave Josie a kiss. "But we do not give up Josie. We never give up. No matter how hard it was during the great exile, no matter how much despair filled us after the Borg took our people and turned them into living machines. Believe me... It's never been easy for the Alindari." Arri sat Josie down. "I have something to show you." She handed her a PADD.

Josie watched Arri carefully as she sat. "Okay, so what is it?"

"During the time of the exile, we retrieved the genetic codex of our peoples. Every citizen of the old imperium had his or her genetic profile imprinted into the imperial census. It was designed for various means. Each Alindari verified his or her genetic code when conducting official business and functions. Elections for example and other sensitive matters. It's still done today, and it cannot be faked." She mentioned. "During the great exile, we found another use for the Codex; our survival. We were reduced from a empire of trillons to just ten thousand on scattered transports. So, we created a means to preserve our genetic diversity with the codex. We created artificial insemnation capable of seeding any Alindari woman, with the genetic lineage of our entire race." Arri mentioned. "So, all couples, even same genders, have the option having children that are truly, by blood, their sons and daughters without any alteration." Arri smiled. "The Codex was one of the ways we survived the holocaust. and we view it as rescuing the souls that were lost to the borg."

"You wish to have a child?" Josie asked softly, gently.

Arri nodded softly. "it's something we can consider Josie. I already have my genetic imprint in my people's codex, it would be simple to have Yours. Then... when we feel the time is right. All we have to do is decide who will have our children." She mentioned. "I love you, Josie. You intrigued me the moment I layed my eyes on you. Not many would have had the strength to last two years in Seventeenth century Earth. Yet you endured. You are very strong inside. You give me strength.. when I feel like my world is crashing down around me." Arri's voice shook. Her usual stoicism sometimes broke around Josie.

"I like to believe that we gave each other strength" Josie said softly. "And one day in the future we will definitely look into having children."

"Alindari do not rush into relationships and marriage too quickly, Josie. We do everything in our lives like the finely brushed strokes of a painting, and sometimes it could take years for us to make a decision when, but I assure you. It's not if; It's when we decide to do it." Arrianna mentioned. "Over the mind and body, the individual is Soverign. That sums me up quite well."

Josie smiled at her. "I agree with that" She said impishly.
