When she left Lovejoy's office, she felt like she needed a bath, but she also knew she had to get to Kara, like, right then. She made her way to their quarters and called out, "Kara, can ye come here, love?"

Kara came through from the kitchenette. "Yes my dear?" She said, moving to give Gallia a tight cuddle. "How'd you're meeting with Garrett go? If he was rude in anyway to you dear, I'll find a way to make his time here miserable. I swear it."

"Nay, darlin', he wasn't rude at all. In fact, he was quite pleasant." Gallia smiled, ''Left him a picture of Tayalas ta brighten the place up. So, tell me, dearest, what haff ye got goin' on tonight?" She would invite the Taylors when she was sure there was an event to go to.

"Nothin' love. It's gonna be all quiet for a couple o' days. Wha'bout you?" She asked in reply.

"Oh, I dinnae, I was jus' thinkin' aboot us." Gallia shyly began, "An' maybe how we should get married tonight is what."

"Tonight?" Kara was slightly taken aback. "Y'know sweetheart, I really wanted OUR Captain, Phoenix to marry us. I..." She pasued. "I have been planning it for quite a while now. " She reached over into the drawer of the table and brought out a lockbox and punched in the code. She then handed it to Gallia. "It's all in there, invitations, my vows, the reception plan, the menu and drinks..." In her heart Kara was overjoyed, but also incredibly upset. All her hard work had been utterly ruined with Phoenix's arrest, and now she didn't know what to do.

"I'm gonna shoot straight with you, I don't think Phoenix would ever forgive us, after I went to all the trouble I did to ask her. I'm sure wherever she is, she's having one hell of a time. Doesn't seem fair for us to be so happy, when she's in a ball and chain."

"I know the timin' ain't whet ye call perfect, love, but we cannae wait on Phoenix Lalor to get outta the hoosegow, she's probably getting a life sentence, they tend te dae that for treason." Gallia said sadly, "I think it's unfair te, don't get it twisted, but this is even more unfair te us and te Tay."

Kara nodded, Gallia was absolutely right. "Aye, ye'r right love. So my plans all fell apart on me, but what's done is done. A'right then my dearest, Let's go for it. Tonight. I suppose since we have a new captain, we ought really to get her to do it? Unless you have another idea love?" Kara asked, taking Gallia's hands lightly. "Sorry f'er makin' ye' wait so long, It wasnae fair."

"Nay, I havenea any other ideas." She said, wishing Phoenix was still here, or Rev. Max Solonga or anyone, but Yasmine Carrington would have to do, "And it's okay we waited this long, just dinnae expect me te wait no more."

Kara nodded, and kissed Gallia's cheek. "Right, right. Perhaps we should both prepare to go to the Captain and ask her then? When you are ready of course." Kara moved to the desk, sitting down and started sifting through various padd's. "I'll check all the necessary paperwork has been submitted, I'm pretty sure I've done it all, but best to make sure." She said, reading through the marriage files and documents. "I had no idea there was quite so much paperwork getting married as a Starfleet officer onboard a Starship, until I had to start preparing. Isn't it always like that..." Her voice trailed off.

"Aye, it is." Gallia laughed as she prepared, "But when can we dae this?"

Kara smiled as she looked up. "If ye' give me fifteen minutes to double check all the correct paperwork is ready, we can head doon tae see the cap'n straight after my love. We can officially be married within the next hour or so." If that suits ye'?" She asked.

"Aye, that gives me toime te call the Taylors te come be our witnesses." Gallia nodded, sending them a message just then.


"A'right then my darling. we got ourselves a weddin! I'll only need fifteen or so mins toget all this paperwork cleared with Starlfeet. Usually it only takes five, but because we're two officers serving together, there's a few extra details that have to be addressed. sorry love, I know. You've waited long enough. Let' get this knot tied proper. I'm sure it'll only make things easier for us all." She said, her head down filing through the padd's in front of her.

She looked up quickly. "Gallia. You know i love you and Tay with my life. If you want proof, then it's happening right now. Babe just hang tight with me here, I promise, nothing, not even protocol will stand between me and my family. Starfleet knows better than to mess with family."

"Aright." Gallia smiled, happy to be getting this done asap.

Kara sifted through the Padd's and looked up after a couple of minutes. "Seems It's all in order as far as I can tell, so whenever your ready we can present these to the Captain." She stood up moving over to the sofa, picking up her jacket. "Shall we?"

"Lets." Gallia smiled, "Let's not waste another second."

"Right ye' Are then!" Kara replied, with a nod. she moved to Kiss Gallia's cheek. "Party time."

"Aye." Gallia smiled, "Lemme get Tay dressed and we'll do it."
