Gallia went immediately to Baeryn Whavi's office and rang the chime to be admitted, she needed to see her, needed to get some answers.

Baeryn was reluctantly packing the few personal belongings in her Ops office to ready herself to relocate to the second officers. Can you refuse such a thing? She was content with this office, familiar and comfortable here. When the chime sounded she called out "Come on in!" without turning to watch who entered.

"Baeryn." Gallia said, hints of warmth betraying her anger at the situation, though not at Whavi, and her desire to get to the bottom of this, "Mebbe you'll tell me what in hell is going on here, hey?"

Setting down the plant she held in her hands onto the desk, she turned towards Gallia. Immediately she looked for the small blue tot, given Gallia's tone she assumed she wouldn't find her but the small disappointment still stung. "I'm afraid I don't have any more information then you do Gallia...."

Gallia thought about what Whavi had said, and observed her looking for someone? Tayalas probably, before answering Whavi's thoughts, "If ye're lookin' for Tayalas, she isnae here, but ye can come see her if ye'd like."

"It's okay, when things settle down I'll come see her." Baeryn sighed and leaned up against the desk. She looked Gallia in the eyes, she could see her anger, feel it almost. "Are you okay? Lovejoy shouldn't have reacted the way he did. I honestly think he was making an example, establishing authority. I don't think it was personal."

"He jus' wants te show off is all." Gallia sighed, "I dinnae pay him no mind."

"Good, I cant exactly tell you to ignore the first officer, but don't let him or anyone else get to you. How's Kara?" Baeryn gestured to an open seat hoping Gallia would stay for a bit so the two could catch up.

Gallia took the offered seat, sitting down and talking to Whavi, the one who could've been, "She's good, thank ye. Tayalas is happy as a clam she's back."

"I bet she is!" Baeryn shifted and took a seat on the edge of her old desk. She was happy Gallia stopped by, she could use the distraction. "How are you now that Kara is back? Happier?"

"Never better." Gallia said, though it was only partially true, "I couldnae be no better."

"I assume there will be a wedding in the near future?" Baeryn was prying but only because she wanted to continue the conversation. "I though I would have run into Kara by now but I have only seen her in passing, maybe we could do dinner later this week? The four of us? I'll even host it in my quarters." Baeryn was hopeful Gallia would agree.

"Aye, I think that would be great." Gallia answered, hard pressed not to ask Whavi who her plus one was.

"Perfect, I'll make the arrangements!" Baeryn smiled satisfied Gallia had agreed.

"Aye," Gallia nodded, "perfect."
