"And you need to make sure he understands it. If he so much touches a system on my PaDD I can't promise you'll have anything to salvage." The PaDD Myne held while it resembled a Federation issued one, it was anything but. It looked wrong in many, many ways.

Having been distracted by Myne, staring at the serious look on her face then glancing his eyes down at the PADD, wondering if it was a security threat to the Elysium, S'hib hadn't noticed T'our flicker slightly, his head and arms twitching sporadically for a moment as though the holonet was malfunctioning.

"Well, I guess you'll be taking him to Ops or the holodeck then..." S'hib said as he glanced back up to T'our. "If that's alright with you." He added, smiling at T'our who was staring blankly at nothing in particular. "T'our?"

"Oh, yes... of course," T'our said as his focus snapped back to the room if only for a brief moment, returning to analyze his own files, unsure how to process the enormous dump of code he had just experienced while desperately searching through the Elysiums databanks for various works of literature, looking for answers to questions he didn't fully understand.

"Phew, good. Yeah, taking him to Ops sounds good." Myne nodded relieved at knowing that a potential disaster was avoided. Having the Assistant Security pissed off at her for having his tourist toy hologram wiped out was something she did not want on her plate right then.

"And it will only be for a few hours while I check his matrix, make some copies and just overall ask T'our for help whenever I find things I don't understand. After all, I am not looking to copy him, just understand how he functions in order to pick and choose the parts I find most useful to build the best EMH I can." Myne explained and leaned back trying to relax after that sudden scare.

"Well you heard her T'our... make sure to put on a good show so she makes the EMH a Sequus," S'hib teased as he looked back up. "T'our? you listening?" He added with a confused and creased brow.

"Hm? oh, yes... sorry, I was just compiling a message for Avalon..." T'our answered as his digital mind threatened to wander back off. "Miss Myne," He said blinking back into the room as he looked down at the Trill, pausing for a moment as he studied her features. "I've already uploaded my files to the Ops center, but I shall still accompany you on the walk there."

Myne looked back at T'our frowning slightly, but she nodded. "Yep, sounds good. We can go now? I am rather eager to look at your code. And yes, you can accompany me on my walk back there if you wish T'our." Turning back to look at S'hib she got up from her chair and held her PaDD close to her chest. "Thank you Commander for this opportunity. If there is nothing else, I would like to take my leave and get to work immediately."

"Of course, I have all of this to deal with still anyway..." S'hib said as he waved a hand over his rather disorganised and PaDD filled desk. "So, hopefully, T'our can be of more assistance than I was." He smiled, glancing between the two.

"Well, have a wonderful time sorting it out." Myne said with a polite head bow and made her way out of his office. She waited for T'our to follow her, only speaking out once the door closed behind them. "Phew, so glad you did not enter my PaDD, please be careful, alright?"

"It would be rather inconvenient if a tour guide was to get lost on your PaDD, probably damaging for my reputation too..." T'our remarked as he glanced down at the PaDD in question, his holographic eyes inspecting it curiously as though waiting for something to jump out at him.

"Not your reputation I was worried about. But in any case. Thank you for your help with this. I am thinking the best way to start once we get to Ops is go to my office. I installed a mini holo projector there and I don't mean the kind you and Avalon use to move around the ship. It is a holo display we can use to represent your core and you can walk me through the code piece by piece." Myne proposed as they made good time towards the Operations Department.

"I will endeavour to do my best, miss Myne... I've never given anyone a T'our of my brain before." T'our replied with a gentle smile, perfectly hiding the troubled code developing in his central codex.

"T'our of your brain?" Myne asked before her eyes went wide as they reached the turbolift. "T'our and tour!! Ha!! Smort!" She chuckled finally getting the pun. "Yeah, this is going to be fun, no worries. I will only look, not poke." It took a few more minutes but soon they were in the Operations Department and in her office. "Welcome to the Nervous System T'our! No one else is using this term for the Ops dep, but I am going to make it a thing soon. So, where do you want me to start?"

"Hmm, My central codex seems like a good place to start..." T'our replied as he glanced about the office, trying to hide the sudden uneasiness of the parallels his former copy had endured.

"One moment..." He added, moving a hand up to his head only to flick a single stubby hoofed finger forward, throwing a brilliantly bright web of light into the room, its orange glow washing out nearly every other colour.

"As you can see, my binary code mimics your organic components, with every cluster representing a file or directory..." He added, pointing towards the various nodes, the swirling masses composed of hundreds of strings of Sequus code all wrapped around in rotating rings.

"Well, that mimicry of yours is what interests me the most. Now that I know of it, it opens up a lot of possibilities. With your help I can make a very adaptable EMH, mimicking behavioral patterns of new encounters and societies, as well as their aspect and such." Myne began to geek out over the possibilities as she stared at what T'our was showing her.

Pulling out a table support she placed her PaDD on it and began typing furiously on it. Then the PaDD began pulsing softly and she let it for now. "Good good. So now we're recording and analyzing, sweet. Walk me through the part of you that mimicks organic behavior. Where does it start? Actually better yet, how do you conduct your analysis of organics? Can you show me those files?"

"These ones here..." T'our started as the mass of web light moved around the room, mimicking the star maps within stellar cartography. "Are the associated connections I have made since we have met, they contain all the dialogue between us, a visual map of your body language and facial queues..." He continued, drawing her attention with his hands as he grasped the swirling knot of interconnected rings, a brilliant glow shimmering with every new addition.

"Every new social interaction no matter how minor will generate a new node, to help things become less jumbled... however, similarities with events will have fast lane connections." T'our continued, walking closer to Myne while rotating the node within his hand to show her a smaller orbiting ring. "It's for cross-referencing, they won't be physically connected but it will allow me to instantaneously uncompress past data if need be."

The Trill's eyes began to move chaotically around the star map style patterns lighting up her office. Though further analysis would suggest she was actually tracing them in a kind of pattern, trying to take in as much information as she could at a first glance. Eventually, her eyes fall onto the node in his nad with rapt fascination.

"I do have to say, I kind of adore your people's approach to AI programming. This is simply fascinating! I want this system something fierce!! Maybe I'll need a few days simply just reading and rereading your documentation like crazy and trying to recreate small parts of you in a bubble. But after I get a grasp on it, I will certainly wish to have your assistance with this. I approve of the way you function!!" Myne raised a hand for a high five completely forgetting she was dealing with a hologram.

T'our looked down at the raised hand, unsure of what to do next as his holographic eyes flicked between her enthusiastic features and the palm of her hand.

What was he to do with such gesture he wondered at superluminal speeds, cross-referencing archived data, finding the results inconclusive...

"As do I." T'our replied with a smile as he leaned down, placing his pink and mottled brown nose against her hand, nostrils flaring gently on either side, breathing out despite the lack of any physical air being moved.

She was taken by surprise upon finding his nose pressing against her hand. This was one strange way to do a high five, but Myne did not question it. She did however pat his nose and rub gently as she continued to look at the data around her.
